Sale report Name: AC/Repair/Riverside (in king) SP: $179 Venue: Afternic HT: 11+ months This is probably my closest sale to expiration! It's supposed to expire this month and I have taken my mind off it completely, like several others that I have discounted to the last. The landing page at Dan was showing $299. I just put that price when I couldn't sell even for $100. Not even one indication of interest, if I remember correctly. I forgot the price at Afternic was still showing one that I used for a discounted offer. Thank God for this unexpected sale! More sales for us all. |
symbuul:I don't use the tool because I currently don't bother much about the metrics. I used the limited Majestic functionality on ED years ago but I didn't get any meaningful results back then. The full tool also needed a subscription and I didn't have the money required to spare. I mostly rely on ED info and Keywords Everywhere (for keyword domain names), plus spam score check, for expired domain registrations. |
MrPADDY:I see where you're coming from. But the bold isn't necessarily correct if the local bank account you're withdrawing to is a domiciliary account. Or what do you think? |
donsharwama:It simply means that such a domain name is listed in the DMOZ directory, I think. This used to mean a lot for SEO years back, maybe even now. |
MrPADDY:If one would still convert to dollar on Grey before withdrawing to local bank, wouldn't it be better to simply withdraw dollar from Payoneer to local bank account? Just thinking. |
bnsheikh:You really meant these people so tey you even translate am for Arabic. ![]() |
SamJed:Forget social life. Abeg, show me how you do it. |
I can relate with some are "lucky and doing great." But still, don't give up. Be strong. Life is a mystery. Many of us have our secret challenges. We just have to keep moving and doing the little we can while leaving everything to God to cap with His favour and blessings. It will get better. Be hopeful. |
Just imagine! ![]() |
Congrats on your sales, Vikkoh and Heyzee5. More of them. If I were you, Vikkoh, I'd research and register at least 10 more XYZ domain names from this sale. That's especially if I don't currently have up to that, as in your case. |
I hope I remember this story; The Cable just lost some rep because of this. Not that I rated it highly before now, though. ![]() |
psylliumhusk1:Please could you give a hint of the area you freelance in? Thanks. |
BOOKWORMLUX:That's strange. The emails I sent during the brief period I used that app always reflected in my default inbox, including drafts. Sorry, can't help on this. |
One of the things we don't yet know regarding this Dan-GoDaddy merger is whether DAN would still continue to maintain push accounts at other registrars. ![]() |
BOOKWORMLUX:I don't get what you meant by losing all your emails. Were also unable to view all sent emails using the main Gmail app? |

net75:I just posted this only to see that you already did. ![]() Let's hope this changes the narrative for the better for all of us! |

Babalakin:I see that you have been answered already. Those views count for little or nothing. My latest .xyz sale had just 3 views the previous month and 2 in the sale month. Meanwhile, I have several others doing about 10 times or more than that still unsold. There's also this "footcare" domain that I have. It's monthly views since registrations have mostly, if not always, been in three digits. Yet, it remains unsold after outbound. The leads are very few, however. |
JohnnA1:Select the domain name(s) in your portfolio that want to add and then click the "Promote Domains" drop-down to see the option to submit for the auctions.

Abeg, who fit help me call an attorney in the U.S., please? Fear dey catch me small for this one. Besides, I haven't had awesome results from calling potential buyers. |
JohnnA1:It's what I saw on the site. If I may ask, how did you try to apply? |
I thought this may interest those who might not be aware and are open to selling any eligible new gTLD domain names in their portfolio via auctions .
|
HIGHESTPOPORI: Bigman02:Not really. I "generated" the name, but it appeared to have dropped before then and so was available at the time. Can't remember clearly right now. |
Sale report HT: 2+ months BIN: 500 SP: 300 Type: outbound Glory to God for the sale! This one is a reminder that GoDaddy's acquisition of Dan is a bitter-sweet one - increased trust and possibly higher commissions. Afternic/GoDaddy basically got 60 bucks off this just for using them as an escrow! Well, na still profit sha. ![]()

Lyion1:You don't need anywhere else. That is enough for most of us. If you have more money to play around, you can try GoDaddy Auctions/Closeouts. Google is your friend. |
Lyion1:You can receive payment with Payoneer using the provided US bank account. But you'd need to contact support to have the option enabled for you. It may help to be diplomatic or courteous when asking. Don't ask as if it's your right. ![]() |
gentlewind:There are several out there, but I mostly use dapachecker dot org. As the name suggests, this tool (and some others) also shows DA and PA. |
ElonMosque, I see you! It's been a while.

therealMcCain:Bless you for that question! That's just what I was about asking AwesomeDuru. I hope he answers. I have several names I am thinking of holding for years. But somehow, I don't think I have a single domain name that I priced up to $3k. |
symbuul:Yes. |
Babalakin:Thanks, boss. Let me give you three reasons why I registered the name: 1. The keyword "capital" 2. Google search(es) showed that some companies include the full keyword in their names. 3. As a bonus, I found that Arda has a nice meaning in Turkish (sceptre). I might have held out for a higher amount, but the spam score was a little high for me. By the way, I only started checking this metric just like 3-4 months ago. |
