So a child struggling under a serious medical condition, whose parents spend years of the child's life jumping from one hospital to another, when that child arrives at 13 for secondary school, it means the parents have failed abi? You just choose to be close minded. No rational Billyonaire666: |
How do you go through life with this your primitive mindset? And to think you're a full grown man. It's tragic that people think like you do. Fahdiga: |
When you and your ilk see folk with constructive and irrefutable points to buttress their point of view, you result to insults to make yourself feel good. The poster is simply stating that the move doesn't make sense at all. Whether they gave conditions or not, it does not matter because rational minded people will wonder what their state government was thinking to come up with that new requirement in schools. Countless kids will be thirteen or above entering school across the country with various reasons for coming in a bit late, what does the state government want to hear? What will they judge as valid reason before allowing the kids be admitted? Our leaders show a lot of mediocrity with the way they think sometimes, and right thinking people naturally will be worried. Billyonaire666: |
What? There are various situations that can keep a child away from skool. What of a child suffering a debilitating medical condition? What of a child in abject poverty living in the interior villages whose parents and guardians don't recognize the value of education and hold the child back to sell stuff to get money to feed? Billyonaire666: |
Absolutely not. He/she gives solid points that are basically irrefutable throughout the post. It's mostly shallow minded individuals that will see that post as too much talk. I'm curious - have you ever read a single novel of at least 100 pages and above in your life? statesman6: |
Chai! This is 2021 we are in oh! Anyone in today's Nigeria that struggles to distinguish between Cross River and Akwa Ibom states is just an embarrassment honestly ![]() tenpipsperday: |
I'm struggling to make sense of what i have just read. Unfeasible and outright dumb proposals by our leaders in Naija is nothing new, but this one is just unbelievable, i am struggling to think that someone with a brain in the head proposed this. I even had to go check the AKSG website for this news, and all i could see related was that the governor vowed to tackle cultism in sec schools, but none of these dumb details of a cutoff in age of admission. Honestly this is shocking. It has to be fake news. |
Please can you give your explanation why marriage is for everyone? tiswell: |
Why should corp members be looked at as the pool for recruitment of prospective soldiers?smh. Do not let the incompetence of our leaders make you miss the truth and facts of our dire reality in Naija. Let the Army announce a national recruitment drive today, you will see a stampede of hundreds of thousands of civilians, (if not millions) converging across the recruitment centres ready to be enrolled. We have enough soldiers in this country, and if not enough then it points to incompetence of the army leadership for not replenishing their numbers. The truth is our soldiers are poorly trained, ill-equipped and most crucially unmotivated to go to the front lines and face these terrorists head on. It's so sad, but true. kevoh: |
Leadership is our problem in Nigeria. When you see this type of shallow and ridiculous comment coming from a state governor, you realise we are in trouble. They are obsessed with what is happening in better run societies where there's law and order and better accountability in all sectors, they now propose that we apply what is working for them without rationally thinking if our society is suited for those types of practices. Countries like US, etc that citizens can have guns operate in a society that has competent and airtight application in security and government accountability. And even with all that they are under a heavy plague of deaths by gun violence. It is extremely difficult to control and reduce gun violence over there. If we allow citizens to hold guns here, we would self destruct in a year or two, then by 5 years we could wipe ourselves from the world map, because bodies will be dropping like flies per second across the country. |
Which kind of childish idea is this? People are talking of serious issues, but all that comes to your brain na say dem wan collect your babe? How old are you? Smh Ayoobb: |
“They (foreign companies) do with impunity in Nigeria what they dare not try in their countries of origin,” the tax agency lamented. “The issue with Tax collection in Nigeria, especially from foreign-based Companies conducting businesses in Nigeria and making massive profits is frustrating and infuriating to the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS). “Regrettably, Companies come into Nigeria just to infringe on our tax laws by indulging in tax evasion. FIRS - a typical Nigerian government parastatal. Filled with unqualified, underperforming, incompetent, and fraudulent officials in the higher echelons of the agency. Which country's tax agency oversees a terrain where they are owed over 300 million dollars by a single business entity? Was FIRS sleeping all these past years resulting in this type of crazy Tax debt? There is no valid explanation FIRS can give that exonerates them of incompetency on this matter. It is crazy. FIRS is right when they say these foreign countries do here what they can't do in other countries - and that's because the Tax agencies in those countries are run by professionals who are actually qualified and competent for the job. Disgrace. |
Reading this story, on the face of it, i understand that the police may have seen the incriminating 'skull and the picture' in the Pastor's premises without seeing him necessarily hold it, which brings the question - what if the pastor has been set up by the complainant? Because it's suspicious that the complainant knew that the accused had his picture with a skull. It just seems like a case of the complainant setting up the accused. Which also brings me to ask why are our police so obsessed with parading alleged criminals who have not yet been determined to have committed the crime beyond all reasonable doubt? These police would parade many innocent people with this nonsense they always do. |
A lot of guys are so eager to trend, but at least this OP should have come prepared. What sort of garbage quality camera did he use for this? Chai! |
So why are you laughing? You think the poster is telling a lie, or you just are surprised by the claim? lagusboyyy: |
It's not about the quality of foodstuff. There is no level of quality food that doesn't reach the cities - it's about the price. Have you not been paying attention to the skyrocket of food prices across the nation? What we have experienced how the quality of living, and security has plunged in the past few years is unprecedented in the history of this country. A women who arrive from the city to shop in those villages will probably be from middle class families who often cook for a large quantity of people every other weekend while hosting meetings, events etc. Normally they can comfortably shop from the city markets if cooking for only their families, but can't afford the city markets when cooking for numerous people. WoundedLamb: |
The youth will put up anything on social media today just to trend. I hope we've seen the most ridiculous behaviors already. I hope the time won't come when they'll be copulating and streaming it live on Instagram. SMH |
Wow! It's not easy o! There are levels of experience/exposure/opportunities in a career. For a player like Mikel that had a fantastic beginning to his career early with Chelsea and ManU fighting for his signature, he went on to play 11 years of football of the highest level in Europe winning many trophies, i would expect that if he is no longer even attractive enough for leagues like France or Turkey, then he should take a bow. Gone are the days when big money was paid footballers in the going to the middle east. All that is no more. Even the big names aren't getting those type of contracts anymore. Goodluck to him. |
Are you not going to ask a sound question, or counter the points i put down. What you posted makes you cone across as shallow with no knowledge of the discussion at hand. OBku4: |
You are right about my observatory ability. It's something people have told me several times in my life. But most importantly is the fact that i often look out for your posts because "e dey funny me die" I ask myself - which kind person be dis wey dey always drop these words? slawormiir: |
Why have you been using only one letter "r" when you type the word - niggar recently? You usually typed "niggarrr" previously slawormiir: |
Wait o! Is night journey by road still a thing in this country? With all the insecurity and treacherous roads across the nation? And to Warri for that matter. Not the far North? Hmmm. Na wah o! |
Hold up! I know countless Nigerians across the country still use their Twitter via the help of VPN's but one would think the governors and their entire nuclear family at least will avoid the app during the entire duration in order to show leadership by example. A governor should ensure that he and his family don't contribute to a culture of the citizenry flouting laws of a country abi? Smh. Chai! |
You are obviously the type that has an aversion for truth. The type that even if you realize you are wrong about an issue will still publicly claim to be correct just to avoid admitting the truth. Why you are telling me to join them? That is your tactic to prolong this argument. You should be the one to get off your butt and show me and the entire world the best way to live our lives without taking the risks that white people take. Go and convince the world that going on sea with a vessel built for the trip is a risk that should not be taken. Go out there and advocate for banning all extreme-sports, bungee jumping etc. While you are at it, don't forget to advocate for the banning of air transport and motor transport, since sometimes there are crashes that claims hundreds of lives. It's not worth the risk using them. I'm sure you will like humanity to revert to transport by horseback and camelback. I'm out. CharisEleos: |
Dirty teeth for where? Those are braces wrapped around his teeth making you think his teeth look dirty. Go check what "braces" are if you don't know. Bluntguy: |
You seem determined to not consider rationality in your perspectives. Well, it's your prerogative. Why should you ask me about how many risky adventures i have taken? You should direct the question to yourself! You are the one that has a problem with a group of people taking risks in endeavors that make them the world leaders in everything great. You are the one trying to indicate that you are wiser than they are. You can continue whining about their risk taking while they keep on breaking barriers and opening up new frontiers in human civilization. Imagine you calling it unnecessary risk that people went to sea on a vessel built for navigating the sea. Smh. i sincerely hope you see and discover facts and truths of life, and learn to embrace them. CharisEleos: |
Why do you say they didn't go there for discovery? Even if they went there for the two other options i opined - (*asking questions and knowledge) it automatically puts them in a position for a potential discovery. A never-before-seen marine specie could bubble put of the water and boom they take pictures. And what's your problem with whites jumping off cliffs and tall buildings? They create a thousand and one ways to bring fun and adventure to their lives and are willing to go to the limits of human ability any which way it takes. When you see dare devil bikers leaping off mounds up over 200ft into the air, don't you marvel at the utter magnificence of the stunt? When you see them bungee jumping off mountain cliffs at heights of over 600ft, don't you find it stunning? When they skydive from above the clouds down to the earth from altitudes ranging over 80,000ft, don't you appreciate and respect their effort? Inevitably in the course of pushing to the boundaries of human ability to create fun, entertainment, research and discover, deaths will occur - but why should that be a problem? You expect them to curl up in a shell and down tools over the possibility of loss of life in their quest to make the most of their ingenuity? Like i stated in my previous post, i wish us blacks could take risks like that. Look at their achievements and look at our situation here. Why do you have a problem with their risk taking? Ask yourself questions. CharisEleos: |
Well if that's how you want to call it - "risking their lives". Is there anything wrong with it? I think not. It's because of their penchant for discovery, asking questions and knowledge that they are responsible basically for every single invention throughout the history of mankind. Every single invention, every appliance, every tech product, every modern day civil infrastructure that gives a positive dynamic to our lives here on earth - they are responsible for it. I wish we blacks would risk our lives in that manner. CharisEleos: |
It's hard to believe there are people that reason the way you do in 2021.You just see a random account that claims to be female; barely a week old; and claiming to be from a particular ethnic group, but instead of trying to figure out if it's one of the countless phoneys that exist on these forums, you instead get carried away by big thighs and cleavage talking about "hot" It's guys like you that some criminals can lure to their deaths using a woman as bait. You will easily fall into the trap and they slice your throat. Heartbender: |

Typical primitive and Barbaric people that abound in Nigeria. Violence, beatings, lynchings, torture - those are what stimulus your senses. Why must she be beaten mercilessly in order to extract information from her? Can she not be professionally grilled with questions from expert investigators? Shior! OssyMalik: |
Why do you and your ilk not have respect at least for your ethnic group since you clearly are so uncouth and don't have respect for yourselves? You come on the pages of SM spreading falsehood and hate on daily basis. Why do you do this? matrixmuzi: |
