RomanceRe: Wife Catches Husband With Neighbor by Uche2nna(m): 8:10pm On Mar 13, 2008
Now that u have caught me wat do u want to do[

Now that had me rolling on the floor. grin

Can u imagine, eh? Wat sort of man is that? undecided

But the wife should have known better. She should have known that her husband is the shameless and "embarrassless" type . More reason why she should have washed the dirty linen in private
TV/MoviesRe: Pirated DVDs With 16 Movies: Is Nollywood Doomed? by Uche2nna(m): 8:04pm On Mar 13, 2008
Totally agree with combrazo's point. The market for hollywood and nollywood movies consists of two distinct population. Each population tends to lean heavily onto one and this is not driven by price. I for one would prefer a Will Smith flick anyday to a Ramsey Nouah movie even if they cost the same.

CultureRe: An Ibo Woman Married To A Yoruba Man? by Uche2nna(m): 12:24am On Mar 12, 2008
LMAO

@Uju

It depends on the way u see it. People are always going to point out differences. A marriage between a couple from Anambra and Imo would also raise some eye brows, not as much as urs tho but some tongues would still wag. These are bewtween two Igbo people ooooo!!!!!  grin
So in your case , would people wag, yes they would . Would people raise genuine concerns, yes they would. Are there going to be differences, of course!!!! But it all boils down to you and how u handle it. If u guys truly love each other then U are going to go through all those obstacles but You would come out strong.

CultureRe: Warning To Nigerian Girls by Uche2nna(m): 11:57pm On Mar 11, 2008
@ Nwando
As long as it is nothing illegal. If the man is delivering pizza or driving a cab and could pay ur air fare to join him, then U should not complain. All u do is to shut up and think of ways to help him deliver the pizza and put the earnings to good use.

And stop whining on the guys. Have u not heard of guys who went and brought ladies from Naija, did odd jobs here and there to pay her tuiton thru nursing skool only for the ladies in question to turn around and divorce them.
CultureRe: Warning To Nigerian Girls by Uche2nna(m): 11:38pm On Mar 11, 2008
Nwando!!!!
Always crusading for single girls  grin grin grin grin  Those girls are not as naive as u make them out to be. If a girl breaks her engagement to a guy living in Nigeria , just to hop into the plane with an Americana that she has just known for a couple of weeks (or sometimes never even met) then she deserves all the shock she is gonna get ; and then some!!!! That girl cant convince me that she was getting married cos she has found love. She based her decision by picking the side her bread would be buttered most, or so she thought.
RomanceRe: Another Minute With Nigerian Men! by Uche2nna(m): 10:18am On Feb 24, 2008

Do you expect regular users of Nairaland to come here and say,". . . . . .Nna,make I tell you the truth,my husband is sh*t!" grin

If Nigerian men are "bad",compared to who? For those living in America, would they switch with AA women and have AA male partners as husbands instead?Do they want Latino or Caucasian husbands?
Thats fair enough.

You are right. These "houses of gods" are Institutions For the Promotion of Ignorance and credulity". As long as there as such people who feed of the falsehood of the clerics, they will want these "houses".
That is ur interpretation which is completely subjective.
Christianity EtcRe: WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR IN A CHURCH? by Uche2nna(m): 9:59pm On Feb 21, 2008
therationa:
Can you name one thing that could NOT be done by other institutions if we did not have churches? The churches are superfluous to requirements in The Age of Reason. All they are now are a thinly-disguised means of exploiting the simple and vulnerable.
Well, ur argument will be valid if everybody in the world thinks there is no God. But as far as the majority of the earth's population believes in God then there is a need for churches, synagogues, mosques, temples etc
Christianity EtcRe: WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR IN A CHURCH? by Uche2nna(m): 9:56pm On Feb 21, 2008
LMAO @ Horus

Everyone to his wishes. Well, the churches were there b4 u were born and I figure they would still be thier long time after u are gone. So, bro, just live with it.

Stuff I would love the church(es) to do
Be more involved with the day to day lives of members. Does not make sense (@ least to me) that a pastor or a priest would be driving in posh cars while members lack transport fare. Not make sense that a pastor be living in a 6 bedroom complex with a family of four while members are struggling accomodation problems. Eating 5 meals a day while members pray for just one meal a day.

I guess subject to interpretation.
Right!!! Cos even the white women always ask same questions. "If I were of the same nationality with him , would he treat me like this" or something in that nature.

Mind games, huh?
