LMAO Yes , I am confused and No , I dont need clarifications (since it is about wars). I think it is better for me that way. Dont want to be more stoned than I currently am ![]() |
Hahahahahahahaha. Now I know u are kidding. From ur posts, I kind of gather that u wont leave ur man for anyone else. Now U and Osisi have to help disabuse the minds of our single ladies. U are always gonna have problems in marriage (be it a black, white or green man), all U have to do is to work thru ur problems instead of crying wolf all the time. U too are not perfect, u know and ur husband still dey hang around. So? |

®~^Sly^~®: ![]() wetin concern agbero with overload |
And U nko, no sharpening @ ur end abi. D-reloaded:Somewhat agree They are happy with the men they have married and like I said b4 , that is the only men they can rightfully pass judgement on in terms of marriage. Apart from Leilah, most [b]married women here have expressed satisfaction with what they got. Latest in addition is yvsk. |
@almondjoy It is a good thing to hear that U worked for the joy U are experiencing in ur marriage. Nothing good comes easy. It does not come easy for any woman, foreign or local. Going thru posts of ladies like Simibrazil, Germanlady and a host of others shows that they too worked for thier own marriages. On the same hand I believe the men also worked on them. So, if the naija girls think that Naija men are not all dat, well guess wat, the oyinbo guys are not even perfect. Just keep ur ears to the ground and U go also hear stories about them. And even come to think of it , the ladies that are dogging naija men (at least on NL) are those that are still single and searching ![]() |
As long as U are getting one side of the divorce story, it would always tend to be biased. Wetin U expect b4? If I divorce 2morrow, of course the likelihood is that I would be painting my ex in bad light. If U buy my story b4 hearing from my ex, then U are very biased. |
79 park avenue is not a James Hadley Chase novel. If I remenber correctly, that is one of Harrold Robin's classic. That novel was the bomb , especially the female protagonist. The way Harrold described the chic kind of wanna make U ![]() |
LMAO @ Nwando, U are only married to one. There is no way U can pass judgement on the others u are not married to ![]() Nwando, U are happy with ur husband (a Naija man) , Almondjoy is also happy with hers (a Naija man, I presume ). We want to hear from the Naija girls that are not happy with thier lot ![]() |
The only thing consistent about NL is its stark inconsistency Now Naija men dey do all the coooking and shopping and licking of arses of Oyinbo women. This is according to our Naija gals ooooo. But according to these so called Oyibo and AA women , Naija men are not romantic, they dont cook (which they attributed to our tradition), they dont even know how to make love (Naija men no dey go down south). Now two contrasting stories from two different groups of women. E be like say tori still dey. I will just stay tuned ![]() |

And 4HIM, who made u the judge of all nigerian women. For all U know , this might be true love |
@ Outlawcum4 I really dont wanna call U an asshole but that is just the word that is stuck on my mind right naw. |
U guys met online? ![]() |
Was rjimid married to an AA or an Oyibo woman? |
@ muchbabe All u need to do is to stroll a lil bit around Nairaland. U would really wonder at some crap U stumble upon. ![]() |
@ 4play Sorry ooooo, but the thin tire me no be small. How we go just be experts in bringing down one another. If no be tribe today , e go be gender tomorrow. I hope it is all in the spirit of fun as Nwando pointed out ( ). Yeah, I nearly puked when one guy opened a thread and stating that the Instruments of naija women hjave offensive odor while those of oyibo women smell like roses. Abi no be these oyibo women wey full for hia Roses ko, carnation ni |
spoilt:Kind of like "one jibe too many" ![]() |
@ rjimid Just go to the box where U would normally type in ur message, scroll down and U would see other people's post. At the top right hand corner of each post , there is an insert quote button. Use that. |
We are always going to be putting down our own. Naija girls will be like , Naija men aint shit, uncouth and abrasive (to quote spoilt). I believe that at least some of u here have Nigerian dads and I dont think U see them in this light. I am still waiting to see a thread that somehow praises the African men. Mara of fact the only praise that the African man gets comes from even the unliklely quarters ( Foreign women). We just have to learn how to appreciate our own. If we dont , who will. I saw a thread opened up by a foreign woman calling all nigerian men dogs. Well naija chics joined her in the name calling. But the poster was still going out with a Nigerian man. I thought the logical thing to do was to dump him ![]() |
rjimid:LMAO |
spoilt:Now I am seriously confused. Thought I had stumbled into a thread that insinuates that Naija girls in diaspora do not like dating Naija men cos they are so unromantic. Now u dey take them back after oyibo don show them pepper ![]() |
pahtahkee: I dont think I have that kind of time ooooooo ![]() |
R-Dynamite: ![]() U no fit read again ![]() Olumorock is saying, ehm, he is trying to say, ehhhmm, I believe he is implying that , ehmmmm ,scratching my head abeg Olumo come explain wetin u dey yarn |
Does this include the ones that have passed away? Hard to choose ur favorite rappers from these bunch after I have had the pleasure to listen to class acts like Pac and Biggie. And u did not include Eminem in ur list which to me is the closest as it gets to Pac and Biggie, no disrespect to other rappers. As for Lil Wayne, still trying to figure out all the hype about him. Forced me to listen to Carter II and still cant find out why he is hyped up. Just my opinion. |
It kind of depends on the type of Cow and the quality of the milk ![]() |
Man, U guys have just brought back old memories. Boy oh Boy, JHC was the bomb. I cant believe that guy was for real. Back in college then, me and my guys used to read a lot of his books and also tried to incoporate his lingo into our everyday convo. JHC books was a stepping stone for me as I quickly gradauted into other authors like Mario Puzo (God bless his soul) , Frederck Forsythe , Robert Ludlum (My best books of all time The Bourne series) , Leon Uris (Mila 18 and Exodus) just to mention but a few. I owe it all to James Hadley Chase. My favourite quotes, U try to figure out wat book was that: I sleep light and I carry a gun--------- When a middle aged woman develops hot pants for a guy young enough to be her son , Cold water helps-------------- |
Vintage Nairaland. Is there a place where peeps on Nairaland meet other than this forum? If not somebody should explain to me how some people seem to be expending so much emotions here when it is just supposed to be an online thingy. Kind of drama I read here want to make me think that this is some sort of reality show ![]() And people remenber a lot Most people on NL seem to be walking around with a chip on thier shoulder ![]() |
