It just depends on the kind of Hausa man he is. Hausa people can be the most loyal person and the best of friend you could ever have. but if you mess around and befriend a fanatic, you are in trouble if you ever offend him. But on the whole i think the non fanatics are the best of people. They are free minded people unlike some tribes i know in nigeria that will waiting for you to sleep so they sell you to the highest bidder !

Anambra leaders always amazes me with a lot of dumb shit but surely this has to take the cake. If the leaders want to fight immorality, I suggest they should start with themselves. Maybe somebody needs to remind them that bribery and corruption are all part and parcel of immorality.

The gospel was and is still being spread , persecution or not. Persecution was infact the actual catalyst that spurned on the spreading of the gospel but once the seed was sown it continued . The genuine missionaries that landed on the shores of Africa came out of thier own volition and not because they were persecuted.

Actually, U would be suprised on how quickly u would adjust to the noise. I used to have one near my area @ Onitsha. It was no church building, just a primary school with a huge field. A pastor rented it for use for church activities. Those guys made one's life a living hell. U cant get a decent a night's sleep. Not on Wed, Fri and Sat. But gradually, I kind of acclimatised to it.

But I agree with u based on those first few months. Those noises at nite can drive one insane. I honestly contemplated picking up a match and a gal;lon of fuel.
