The worst phone is used got to be Tecno Camon 8. First, I believe I was just unlucky to get that unit. (The phone wasn't cloned, fake or refurbished though) As usual na, everything was rosy in the first few days. Three or four days later: 1. This phone, with its original charger took exactly 4 hours to completely charge. Any other charger took 5 or more hours. 2. It was a taboo for the phone to run more than one app at the same time. (This included music players in the background; just forget about uploading pictures to Facebook or any other site using chrome cos the RAM space was never enough to open Chrome browser and Gallery at the same time). 3. In a day, the phone restarted itself at least 4 times. This included when the phone was idle and when I was using it, regardless of whatever I was doing. 4. Hanging, overheating and lagging were the hobbies of the phone. 5. The selfie camera was super bad for a phone that was marketed for its supposed camera prowess. 6. Etc This f0cking phone frustrated the sh1t out of me I had to sell it off even without the hope of getting a new one soon. The only good thing was that I got a fair deal. Sold it for 26k on efriitin dot com cos of the hype around it. (The hype that made me choose it over Samsung S4 2/16 duos). From that moment, I vowed to NEVER use a Tecno phone again. Mumu me, I didn't know that Tecno, Infinix and Itel were the same piece of trash bearing different names, na so I go buy Itel S something: when I finish crying, I'll write about it. But thank God, I'm now a Xiaomi Note 8 Pro user. I ported after I was bitten again by Infinix Hot 6x. I no dey learn sha but never again will I look Transsion way. |

This lady and insecurity are family members. |
femmyapson:Op, I recommend this too. I personally use it. I don't leave money in any of my banks' accounts. I send them to my Opay account immediately to avoid failed transactions, charges, illegal and unnecessary withdrawal. It's totally free. |
talktalk4u:Yea, no Xiaomi comes packaged with a headset or a pair of earpieces. You get them separately if interested. 2.i keep getting HTML View bug notification ,You don't keep getting it. It only pops up anytime you restart your phone. Kindly swipe it away. It's cos you are not registered on Mi cloud or you didn't activate it. 3. Xiaomi Sim Activation Error ,This is the same with number 2. 4. Very Slow Wifi Speed Eg very slow speed when connected to wifi.Your device is simply connected to a slow network. That's it. 5. device can not support Bluetooth control pad once connected the device will start lagging and then freeze up till i carry out a hard restart ,This one is not clear 6. Facebook video call malfunctions cam sometimes automatically goes into landscape mode and wil never return back to portrait mode ,This is purely facebook misbehaving. 7. it took me 2months to successfully update my phone with update pack 554mb which means OTA server is very slow ...O boy, you no even fear God ![]() And Lastly camera is not well detailed for a 48mp device ? why should i have to use 3rd party APK Gcam to improve my imageUnless you got a fake one, you should have no problem with the camera. You are the first with this problem that I know. please nobody should say its a fake one because MI officails confirmed it and stated its a product Bug which affacted some product Batch .Hard luck for you bro. You got the bugged device. |
talktalk4u:You are just pained and you want to prove a point. That HTML message is an error message you get anytime you change the Sims in your phone (it requires that you register the new number with your Mi cloud) |
What's wrong with this op? |

Recount:This one is new to me seriously. I never had such a problem. The installation process was swift and smooth. |
Codeblues:Yes, the phone is very scarce at the moment. You are lucky it's even on Jumia. |
A user. The phone is fairly good. It is a beast relative to its price (my right fingers alone should sufficiently count the phones within its price range that beat it) The 48mp camera is very good. Literally speaking, every girl in my hostel prefers to take those Sunday shots with my phone. Video recording too doesn't disappoint. In terms of multitasking, the phone lives up to its expectations. You will only be disappointed if you want it to perform the tasks of a 6GB or higher RAM phone. Given its processor, battery is optimised. It's capacity is 4000mAh that charges from 0-100% within 100 minutes. I'm a heavy user but I'm usually unconcerned about the battery life. I mean to say it lasts long--longer than you would imagine. It has exciting and amazing stock apps that would save you the stress of downloading their replicas from the store or the net as a whole. Such apps include: document scanner, a well equipped note taker, document reader and creator, Mi share, Mi remote control app, Mi Music, Mi Video (this one particularly beats any video app you wish to download), Mi browser, etc. The UI is fun, amazing and just name it. (You get to change themes anyhow you want and these themes change the displays of the system, the lockscreen and most of its stock apps. 4G is standard on both sim slots. Cons: It gets hot when you use the camera app for long especially portrait mode and 48mp pictures. In fact, the camera, when configured in certain ways can kill all running apps in the background but don't worry, you will get the quality pictures you want. The Mi Music and Mi File apps are stuffed with annoying ads that you just can't get rid off no matter what you do. The phone can't be easily rooted. Type C USB port. You might not be able to quickly borrow your neighbor's cord to quickly charge your phone. Only Google's Phone, Contacts and Messaging apps are traditionally and truly supported on the phone such that Mi Dialer, Mi Messaging and Mi Contacts apps crash or depend on the Google apps. This is not really a problem though. Just that, I personally don't like too much Google apps on my phone. The flashlight is not bright. Make your choice. |
TheBlessedHero:I bought a Redmi Note 8 for 57k and sold it for 45k 3 months later. Why did I sell it? Cos I thought Redmi Note 8 was good--yes it was. Just that I didn't know Redmi Note 8 Pro was waaaaaaaay better. You know what I'm trying to say? Every upgrade to a Redmi device is a major upgrade and always mouth watering unlike most phone brands that keep recycling. Another major reason people are selling off their Xiaomi phones is cos there's a high demand for it. Ever since the pandemic, they have been scarce in the market and owners probably want to exploit the opportunity. Xiaomi phones are worth every penny. |
I'm not advocating for a longer distin o but trust me, a 4 inch distin is a disadvantage to any owner and user. Too many ladies (fat or chubby) you wouldn't be able to penetrate, let alone hit the spot. Also, you can never satisfy a tall girl. Should I also mention that your sex styles will be very few? That's boredom there. |
Malawian: I had to check Google for the value of inches relative to centimetres. |
Slawormir:Poor phones. 2GB RAM can't run two apps conveniently. Wetin Transsion or wetin dey call themselves carry my eyes see ehn, no be here. Imagine not being able to upload a picture or document to a site using chrome browser cos of RAM on a 2GB RAM phone! Baba, I vex go buy Redmi Note 8 Pro. Till Jesus comes, I'm never using their product again. |
beejayvince:Na name of phone be this wey I dey read like Volvo or BMW car model? |
OrestesDante: I laugh, my belle scatter Guy, why you wicked like this? |
NaijadrivaCars:The guy asked a simple, brilliant and harmless question but you chose to be stupid. |
RIP to the man. I wish the rest of us safety. I pray that this thing doesn't result to the mass death of Nigerians. |
nextstep:African Flu |
Op, do you know what to do? Just watch and watch only, as the events unfold. You don't even have to move a stone for a girlfriend you feel is so fragile and can be snatched away any time. Keep the both of them at arm's length and play a fool. Mind you, be ready to see what you don't desire to see o. A better thing to do is to subtly break up with your friend and keep your supposed girlfriend at arm's length. |
jeff1607:This is a well constructed argument here. Kudos! |
Solomon8144:Since when fvck turn enjoyment? |
Octopusssy:You just had to say something. I totally understand |
Good morning! Below are images of a long and fat black mamba--a dangerous and venomous snake that was killed from my neighbour's bedroom. It's no surprise that the snake was found in her room cos she rears chicken. We thank God that no one, especially the kids was bitten or hurt.

Chikpat:It is renewable |
solmusdesigns:Any man can cover up his wife or girlfriend in this situation but cheating? Nah! No correlation |
