@9ja, i plead with u to desist from making coments that will undermine the transparency of this exercise. Ur attack on ogugua is unneccesary, shes a contestant and u're part of the tribunal. We the tribunal have to be unbiased as our duty is to oversea this election and judge preceedings accordingly, least others consider us inefficient.

U made it clear that the work of an election tribunal wasnt to interfer with preceedings but to judge matters arising from such preceedings. The tribunal didnt disqualify u, but only asked for u to forward a formal report challanging ur disqualification, u ignored us.
Yes, we the tribunal couldnt have changed the rules according to the by-laws which u pointed out, but u forgot that ur disqualification wasnt a writen law, and we had the powers to upturn it. We cant change the laws that prevents anyone that had made derogatory comments to contest, but u would have argued ur case that u had the right to expres ur opinion, irrespective of whose ass is being gored. It was a win-win situation for u, but u ignored us.

Lastly, try to differentiate between ujchief, the nairalander and ujchief, the electoral tribunal member. I'm acting in my capacity as a member of the tribunal and i'v got rules to follow and an election to oversea. I wont let my personal opinion over-ride the interest of ndi igbo and a task i was nominated to do.

PointB: I disqualified him, based on the rules. And he refused to appeal.

simple! U all can refer to previous pages to see what conspired. Okija was found wanting in a section of the electoral by-laws (which he claimed was targeted at him) the electoral commisioner disqualified him. But we the tribunal asked him to apeal the case and we'll give him a fair hearing. He rejected the offer, but made a press release accepting his fate and pledging to suport the electoral process and the new Eze.
Now hes runing agog, pasting funy pix all over the thread.
He remains disqualified!! We're not re-opening his case, unless fresh facts and evidences are produced

we decided this at the early stage of this process. The tribunal agreed that Eze Onlytruth, as the incumbent Eze, should skip the nomination stage. He will contest alongside those that had the highest number of nominations from this present stage.
We feel that if umu igbo is satisfied with Eze's tenure so far, it will reflect in the results of the election.

Many christians today tend to abandon their previous church or place of birth for a new church due to one reason or the other. It could be dissatisfaction with the previous church, search for miracle or healing, spiritual upliftment etc.
So share with us, have u left a church for another? If yes, what were ur reasons, if no, why are u stil in the same church of ur birth? What denomination did u leave, to where?
