Fingers crossed. I'll be uploading the progress regularly to teach and be taught so lets be positive on this thread.

I am into groundnut oil production and my major challenge has been the high cost of raw materials (groundnut) which has rendered the business handicapped.
I do buy groundnuts from bida, mokwa, kano, gombe and adamawa but the cost and logistics has made me to think inward and homeward.
Cost of leasing 1 acre is #6,000
Tractor for ploughing 1 acre is #5,000 excluding fueling.
Seed - i bought improvised seed, samnut 21 and 22 (12 kg per acre each) = #9,600 for all
Other things to do -
Tractor ridging - #5,000 per acre minus fueling.
Herbicides
Planting cost
Insecticide to be sprayed immediately after flowering.
Cost of spraying insecticide.
Cost of harvesting.

My manager is igede and he has been the backbone of the project.
Ogun state grows a lot of groundnuts at imeko, ayetoro and igbo-ora axis and that is why am trying my hands on it now.

I heard from a reliable source that for improved seedling, samnut 24 thrived best in benue while local seeds can also still be used.
In Ogun state, samnut 21 and 22 thrives more for improved seedlings and lcal seeds still do fine too.

Lol, I'm from Ogun state o, serving in Benue state though but will be done next week.
I don't know much about g/nut o but I've just tried my hands on 8 mudus, that's about 64 mudus lol. Now that I've just read your thread I'm thinking of trying it out. I'll PM you now.

Marriage is between two people who must work together to ensure things work out, they do so by working together in unity, reasoning together, helping each other, lifting each other, having each other's back. It's not the sole responsibility of a man to cater for his family, if a man is capable of contributing 60-70% then the wife should contributed the rest. Sometimes most men don't grow much because they're left with the burden of footing 90-100% of the bills in the home. Personally, I'd never support that men marry ladies who do not have ambitions, ladies who aren't working towards being financially independent and supportive, ladies who are selfish/stingy, call it whatever. If not for the fact that some men are blinded by ass and boobs, they wouldn't make the wrong choice of marrying alady who has the mentality that a man must foot all the bills, no be una fault, na una preek dey reason. Even if a man isn't financially bouyant, if he has a partner that believes in that two shall become one (that is, working to help the other etc) then he is good good to go, this doesn't suffice to say that women should shoulder all the responsibilities of the home, a woman is called to follow (not to be confused with objectified, while the man leads, the woman follows but not blindly, not like a slave), to help and to love. A faithful and supportive partner is pure bliss (not talking about the biscuit brand o, lol, forgive my very dry sense of humour). Scout and choose wisely!

You seem to have good intentions but might be telling him the wrong way, most times, some things are better said subtly or with relatable examples.
Try talking to him again but this time ensure you don't raise your voice (if that's what you do) and if you try this and he refuses to turn a new leaf then let him be for a while, if he still fails to change then what you must do is break up with him, move on with your life. Channel the energy you put into trying to make him a better person to your own your life and personal development. Go after your dreams and quit thinking of what people will say if you get married late, better be late and end up with an amazing partner than early with a terrible spouse. Also know that you can never help a person grow if they aren't willing to take any step either.
By the way, judging by what you've written here, I think you might be a bossy person and also full of yourself, while that may not be the case, I would advise that you work on that aspect if that I'd actually true.

Good morning nairalanders, i saw a thread this morning about a guy complaining about a little scar he has on his hand, this gives me the courage to spill out what am currently battling right now, here is my story. Please pardon my English.

My problem started about 3 week's ago, I noticed a discolorations on both sides of my chest on my brest area pricisely, it was slightly lighter than the rest of my body, i showed my friend and he said he couldn't see anything that am just over reacting, i am a very shy guy by nature. I was restless because i couldn't take off my shirt because of it.

I started doing some Google search on how to make the area slight darker to match my surrounding skin, during my Google search i found a product used mainly for vitiligo condition, but couldn't find it in any big pharmacy so i ordered it online and it arrived in 3 day's.

The instruction on the label that came with it was to apply it on affected area and expose the skin to sunlight for 1 minute, then to wait until 2 - 3 week's before repeating, but i was so desperate for results that i couldn't have such patient because i really wanted to get instant result, so i applied the liquid on my chest area which is a very small scar like a dot, and unfortunately it rolled to other areas on my chest which wasn't affected. I still foolishly went ahead and exposed the areas to the sun, i exposed it thought the sun coming through my window, i laid on my bed because it is around the window area.

I exposed my chest area from 1:13 pm - 4:00pm, the next morning i found out that the area was darker than my surrounding skin, the next day i applied bleaching cream to make it lighter, on the third day i found out it was now very reddish than my surrounding skin. I bought razor to scrape the area in other for it to peel off and for a new inner brighter skin to appear, but unfortunately it became worse because i had some slight injury from the scrape.

I was confused so i did some research on Google and found out about chemical peels, i ordered the 30% strength for 13k.... The seller warned me to text patch it on surrounding skin that isn't visible and wait for 24 hour's after seeing that it gave me no negative reaction before using it on where i intends applying it, he also warned me to dilute it in water to reduce the strength, but i was so desperate that i couldn't wait for 24 hour's to text patch it before applying it on my chest. The day i bought it i applied it same day, it also rolled over to other surrounding skin that din't got darker from the effect of the first product i applied.

Please i need help and advise on what to apply and how to get my skin color back before this damage, i have been so depressed and unable to sleep this past few day's, because of this damages that i caused to myself.

I got the so called consultant and that was all they did. Mine is for pay those working after they do their thing. I bought the tissue cultured suckers at 250 per 1 x 200 and the normal suckers at 100naira each X 175. I think he used 2m by 2m. Can't remember the specifics though.

Wow! That's expensive for suckers na, when did you plant? I have a friend whose parents are into farming (big time) and he told me they do get suckers for about 70-100 naira. Maybe they're more expensive now sha.
