This my thread is just mainly for single men and guys outside there and I would like to share my experience with you guys on what I have undergone and experienced as a Security guard.

To be a security guard is not a job I can advise my enemy to opt for let alone my friend or relation. The job is a regardless one and very disgusting.

As a security guard, you are more or less a beggar in the street, should I say beggar has a little regard more than you.

When people see you, they see nothing in you. Most especially when you're trying to speak to them in English making them to know that you're educated...(laugh..) You just did it wrong, to them it means you are having mental problem.

The image impression of 98% of people on guys who do this job to hustle for their lives rather than involving in criminal practices is that they have no future; is that they cannot make it in their lives; e.t.c.

Since I've started this job when I finished my program in the polytechnic, any lady I made to know about the job I do turns me off later, some said it's a beggars' work.

And currently, I hardly have female friends not to talk of girlfriends or marriage.

Though, I didn't mean to start this job before if not condition, but now I'm planning to quit the job and find another.

Sometimes, I cried in my room, begging God to show me another way.

One of the workers in the place of work that I'm guiding once told me that his dog is better off than me. This is even the person that cannot even compose simple correct English, he said his dog is better than me.

Your experience too is allowed... Thank you.

When I was in NFLV in 2017, I decided to get an extra source of income, I told two of my friends about it, they asked what I intended doing and I told them I'd start selling cloths, they laughed real hard at me, they really laughed at me o, they asked who would buy and how I would go about it but I didn't let the things they said dissuade me, well, I and some of my friend decided to go get things in république du Benin, I was shocked at how cheap things were and ended up buying some cloths, when I came back I sold them and made triple the amount I had spent getting the cloths, that's how I started oooo, I did that till I graduated. Well, one of them started to sell cloths as well. Don't listen to what people say otherwise you'll go no where in life, set your priorities right, do some personal development, save, invest, save. Don't quit your job till you've secured a better one. Know your worth, value yourself and carry yourself with much dignity. A bird in the hand is worth more than two in the bush.

For those depressed sets of people that love abusing me just to get some likes, shares, and feel better, my advice is: use your time wisely to avoid me using it for you. Las las, na only likes and shares you go get.

Uh, hustling? You needn't have posted it Herr though, there's a lot that comes with working in silence. A friend of mine recently asked my post NYSC plans, I told her I'd be joining the Nigerian Army, while that might be 30℅ true, I do have my plans but certainly won't be revealing anything. I feel like things get jinxed when you announce your plans a lot or show everyone how hardworking you are (my take though), if I want some advice, I'll talk to you like it's some other person that needs it and not me. I've only just learnt this act recently and I think its sure is a good one.

Well, I did a little bit of Arabic from grade 6-8 and I'm more than certain 'albasa' is Arabic.
Almost every language has loanwords.
In French we have words comme 'parking, ski (faire du ski), weekend etc, that doesn't suffice to say the words are French.

Police in Tharaka South Sub-County in Kenya has launched a search for a man who sealed his wife's private part, using super glue mixed with sand over infidelity.

According to the police, the suspect first persuaded his wife to move from their Marimanti township home, fearing that he would be arrested after having travelled from Nairobi where there is a lockdown.

The man ask his wife to UnCloth, on reaching Kathita River, he hit her and threatened to stab her with the knife he was holding, after she refused to UnCloth.

The police said:

They both went and on reaching River Kathita, he ordered her to remove all her clothes so that she may tell him all the men she had slept with while he was at Nairobi



The police added that the suspect then proceeded to adding pepper, salt and onions in his wife’s private parts using a sharp knife, before applying superglue mixed with sand to ‘seal’ it off.

He also applied the same super glue on his wife's ears and mouth before fleeing from the scene.

According to Tharaka South Police Commander, Kiprop Rutto the woman managed to walk to Marimanti Police Station where she reported the matter before she was rushed to Marimanti Sub-County Hospital where she is receiving treatment.

Mr Rutto added that the suspect is a known criminal in the region who is being sought by the police for various crimes.

Alubosa meaning onion

Atarudu, a variety of pepper. ..Yoruba call it atarodo

Tatase too, another variety of pepper

All share the same name in Hausa and Yoruba

Wow, this is good, however, the word for onions is borrowed from the Arabic word "basl/bsal/albasl/albasl/albasal". Hausa's borrowed it from the Arabs and I guess Yoruba's in turn did same.

Uh, this is really bad. I'd advise you take your dad to see a psychiatrist/ a mental institution, when he's okay then one of you should have him stay in your house. Let your mum and brother be, they'll regret their actions (your mum especially).
