SMH @ all the comments, you don't want Tinubu yet you're shouting Jimi Agbaje. Let me burst your bubble, Agbaje is a Tinubu boy! He's a major contractor for the Lagos State Government. Let me give you a clue, find out the major suppliers of drugs to government hospitals. Also I'm tired of people disturbing themselves about Tinubu, he is not the sole King maker, any decision that will be made will have to be a joint one among The Oba of Lagos, Former IG of Police Musiliu Smith, and Jagaban. You all know next to nothing about Lagos politics. SMH |
This thread is for dreamers, solve the numerous problems in your locality first, that's the way to go about it. |
oluwaslim: Thanks bro.Just checked the tutorial and everything looks fine, to install Yeoman, please follow this format. npm install (press the space bar twice) -g yo Let's see what happens after that. |
No matter how intelligent these arguments are, the fact is that we are at this point because some eeddiiots that call themselves health professionals can't manage their ego. |
oluwaslim: But am still un able to install anything again. And this is really becoming a pain in the ass,and am really stucked learning my angularjsWhat are the things you want to install? Please don't give up, you will figure it out at the end. Hope your Internet connection is fast? |
oluwaslim: Alrite thanks i get that now but the problem i have now is that the node.js cmd disappears within 2secs after opening it, before even typing anything.and i have un-install and reinstalled it back.Well done! |

You are using "node.js", the one you should be using is "node.js command prompt", this is the place you can install express etc. Click "all programs" you will see it in your Node.js folder.

MizMyColi: ^^This is U_rine in whom I am well pleased. Listen to HimThank you! Hope you have started writing code? You must not give up. |
Naetochukwu: I said it, smth smells like urine here, so na u?LMAO! Silly woman. ![]() |
Kinkybraids: Good DayThe way you're going about this issue is sooooo wrong! Do you want to get married because your parents are putting pressure on you or you're ready for marriage? Trust me, if you're a good woman very soon a good man will notice you and everything will work out well. Your "earn more than R50, 000" demand is also funny. What will you do if he looses his job after you get married or he takes a pay cut? That's a recipe for disaster. You will meet your man, unfortunately when that happens he might be the direct opposite of what you want, it will take a great deal of wisdom to see the end from the beginning. Please this is not an attempt at telling you to lower your standard, I'm just saying things like this happen naturally. DONT FORCE IT! |
oluwaslim: i already did that but when i run npm search express, this is what i get:You have to install express before you search for it. Run this commands from your node.js command prompt and tell me what you see 1. node -v (press enter) 2. npm -v(press enter) If these two are ok you can now install express by running this command; npm install -g express-generator (press enter) This will install express perfectly for you. |
oluwaslim: please i see everybody here got there hands dirty with angularjs one way or the other so please i really need help starting up with it.I have been trying to follow up with the tutorial on the official website but installing npm with my node.js interface seems to be impossible, and i have been stucked up trying to do that for about 2days now.please any help would be appriciated.Download the latest node.js version here http://nodejs.org/download/. Once you install, node.js and npm will be 'sitting' comfortably in your system. |
lekzzydo: chairman it's not evrybdy that will code to be a computer scientist. Computer science is vast such that it's not necessary you know about coding(writing programs). I could remember that my project was based on Business intelligence under Management Information System. @ master level u'll understand it better. My brother I graduated with a Master's degree in Computing from RGU 18 months ago so your master level theory is wrong. What you have written above implies you have a Master's degree too, am I right? Please explain to me and the other bunch of computer enthusiasts here how on earth you will 'battle' Business intelligence/MIS without a single line of code? Once you are done with that, please tell me the school you graduated from. Thanks. |
Nihilist: Mate I work as an IT Infrastructure Engineer and have absolutely NOTHING to do with coding of any kind. You work as an IT Infrastructure Engineer? What type of infrastructure? How does that infrastructure deal with security challenges? If you answer this question correctly, we will put this argument to bed "mate". |
Nihilist: This is correct...This is a detailed explanation of what I said earlier. Let me give you a practical example. System Administration on the surface level doesn't involve coding, but to be ahead of the game and to rise above your peers, you have to be able to do stuff like writing a munin plugin. How will you do that if you can't script in perl etc? Do you know Java can be used as a very interesting 'tool' in networking? I hope you get the gist? |
rutchiekens: Don't mind his ignorance.. Imagine a comp. Sci. graduate having an interview at Google and does not know how to code. His statement made me weak initially, but it's OUR duty to educate people like him because it's not his fault. How many Nigerian lecturers can 'handle' Java, node.js etc? |
Nihilist: Errr No it is NOT!If you are a true computing person, you must be "remotely interested" in Software Development, Database Management, System Administration or Networking. These are the core areas of study in school and there's no way you will get a computing job without being "remotely interested" in one of the above. |
chamboy: Code writing doesn't guarantee good grades in Niaja computer scienceYou have a point but coding is the best way to prove one is a computing super star. |
Congrats to her, I just hope she can write good code because if she can't, it will be too bad. |
chukstem: Ophk sory.Call the object of the "2nd class" from the main class. |
MizMyColi: Thank You, Very, Very Much. Nicely Presented......makes more sense in this mannerYou're welcome, I'm glad my explanation was helpful. |
Op, HTML = you are naked. CSS = you have covered your unclothedness by wearing a very beautiful dress. There's nothing like a HTML or CSS site, both work together. |

spikesC: BigData has relatively nothing to do with database administration.I don laugh touch my landlord wife booby. The bros just dey show us all the big words wey e don see for book. |
Brilliant choice! He's one of the best football people this country has. What he did with Enyimba is proof, most people here don't know he was instrumental in hiring Westerhof as our coach many years ago. |
adexsimply: Mac book for less than 100k ? I'm interested please. The cheapest mac book is 190k @ istore in ikeja. |
fingard02k: Only one set of people (they know themselves) hate Phyno and all his songs.I'm 100% Yoruba and I love Phyno's music, these days I ask my Igbo friends to translate some lines for me. Phyno and Olamide on a track? The best ever! When Awilo Logomba was topping the chats, how many of us had an idea of what he was saying? Good music will always break the language barrier and Phyno is not an exception. You my brother is the big anumanu for trying to put a limitation on Phyno's fan base. That said, Phyno nwane Chukwu gozie gi for giving us good music. |
There's no place to search your catalogue, this is important. Work on it. |
