Last month made it 4 years since my neighbor travelled to Italy via the Mediterranean Sea. Thank God for him, he arrived safely irrespective of the hurdles on the way.

Nigerian structural engineers can only design based on the materials available to them. It is not their job to fabricate materials. If all the materials in the market are substandard, the structural engineers have to accommodate this. So they will force architects to just make simple rectangle shape building that should stand instead of fantastic shapes with cantelever beams or long span beams that my collapse under load

Architects and Structural engineers, go and source standard solid building materials for your projects and stop blaming each other and Nigerian government

They must submit their design to Nigeria structural engineers. Those structural engineers must then do all the load analysis and MAKE SURE that the building materials WE HAVE in this Nigeria can indeed bear all the funny loads.

This is where foreign Architects will come in, design same fantastic shape, THEN GIVE THEIR FOREIGN structural firms to analyse the structure loads ...
