If your give them money, they will definitely collect it. But when you are hungry, need a job to earn money to take care of yourself, the world will not give you.. |

candyguyofficia: Oops! Nigerian inclusive of leaders and citizen have trampled on the image of the country. If only Nigerians know how Nigeria and Nigerians are perceived abroad then Nigerians will not be quick to praise internet fraudsters. There is a systematic problem with leadership, followership and our value system. No respect for dignity in labor, theives and persons of questionable character get chieftaincy tittles and in religious centers they are given "high table" during fund raising. We have taken the bull by the horn it didn't work it's time we think out of the box and look inward in a bid to change the narrative. Uhuru Sasa People keep feeling that they can leave their villages, come to the city, mess up everything, destroy all government property, steal all government money, break contracts. Then when the nation is totally destroyed, they can happily run back to hide in their villages. Fool! Your village is ALSO INSIDE NIGERIA. The whole idea of "I'm only concerned about my village" ... is a myopic and idiotic thing. The whole whole Nigeria is your country. You can buy land , live and die and be buried in any part of this country. |

Anuoluwa1234: And why that statement though, am also into health sciences, but a different field, hvnt heard of that. So why Na wa ho Well, I said "Na wa O" because when one gets into science and stuff, you take time and patience to study "many" diseases. When you think you're an expert and all done, one of these rare diseases hits somebody and you will be there thinking, "Ah-ah? This one must be witchcraft. Sheybe I just studied all the disease in this world and i know all their symptoms? What is this one I'm seeing here now?" Then some other scientist guy comes and tells you, "No it's a very rare diseases , difficult to detect, very uncommon but nevertheless, it too follows a scientific process". You will then ask him, " How many people did you study with this disease before you were able to generalise its characteristics as scientific and not just plain witchcraft". Na wa O!. Scientist dey try. |

lordaltruist: Unlike other states,
In Akwa Ibom State there are numerous structures for them; we have free and compulsory education from basic to secondary and in Akwa Ibom State, WAEC examination is free all paid up by the government and I am a testimony to that fact and they have the best public schools you could think of.
There are government loan without interest for SMEs plus for the past 8-10 years Akwa Ibom State Government has been running free Skill Acquisition and Empowerment for Youths and Women in the state this they don't have a reason to hawk or send their wards to hawk.
Everything boils down to greed; we are not satisfied with what we have and so we tend to satisfy ourselves in every means possible. These people hawking, are they aware of all these things your stated here? Since you are a beneficiary, why don't you spread this message to them? Because in this Nigeria, ordinary English is some people's problem. Because somebody can read and write and get some information and progress a bit in life, the next thing is to bullshit and distance himself from those that can't read or write and allow them suffer in ignorance/poverty. We do that A LOT in this country, Nigeria mn |

kalvoken: Were you expecting people not to go out for their daily breads? Since the lockdown started, how many have you helped? better still, how many done help you? Can you swear that since this Pandemic broke out and lock down was declared, you haven't been able to many major markets. You went to ogba market, were you expecting yourself to be the only one there?
Even in Europe where the Pandemic wrecked havoc, people have learnt how to live with it. That why we are humans, being able to adapt.
Travel from round the country, then you would see the multitude created by those criminals on uniforms in the name of road block/checking points, just for their selfish interests. Checking points from ONDO state to Anambra are no farther than the distance from one street pole to another. Each cars pay nothing less than #500 & 1k in some cases. Before you mention trucks that pay 3k upward.
My experience on the road last week made me to give up this village called Nigeria. No more visa for any Nigerians again! We die here together. Europe and western nations are doing all they can to protect and prevent covid19. We are doing anyhow here. When they see pictures/videos like this, they will easily refuse visa, saying that they are protecting themselves from us. Even if you give them health report, they will say it is fake, since we are a nation that likes faking documents. |

You take the picture, you pass it into computer memory and use your data base program to keep the records. Computer is always running in their offices. Turely, if a Nigerian wanted to destroy the whole western world, just shut down their light and turn off their internet. They will all die within 2 days. Here, there is no light. No computer. No database. One person just snap picture with Techno keypad phone. later, another one will post on Nairaland. No central computer controlled data base. Everything jagajaga. |

Politics › Re: Chad Begs Nigeria For Electricity Supply by uuzba(m): 6:43pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
jomoh: Perhaps we should tell you that you’re ignorant.
Nigeria’s electricity generation is enough to power all the homes in nigeria(excluding industries and commercial entities) but our problem lies in our distribution network that is lacking critical infrastructure funding and finance which makes it unable to pick up and distribute all the electricity we generate. Our city and town planning is also not helping.
Chad has seen the gap and they’re trying to exploit it.
Get your information right about your country before criticizing it. We produce O. We don't produce O. I don't have light AT ALL in my house and have paid heavily for solar and inverter installation since 2013. At least now, I can use fridge and watch TV at 2am in the night without disturbing anybody with generator noise and fumes. Don't criticise the guy above... He is just telling you the end result of all the infrasture. He doesn't have light and it is not supposed to be so. |
