Stop being foolish, Nigerian federal government are known to delay projects for several reasons, shortfall of finances being the major reason.

Lagos state IGR runs in hundreds of billions yearly, Its also higher than the IGR of 27 Nigerian states combined together, WHY DIDNT THE LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT BUILD THR RAIL NY HERSELF

While I condemn this Act by the Nigerian Tasks Force, we must not forget as well that we Nigerians finds it very difficult to abide by the Laws of the Land.
An average Nigerian wanna flaunt the Laws. If we keep breaking the the Laws of the Land due to one excuse or the other, nothing can & will change in the Country.
That's why I keep saying that the "Biggest Change" we are yet to witness is not just Governmental.
The individual change is the "Biggest & Fundamental" change Nigeria & Nigerians needs right now.
Nigerians must start taking their Civic Responsibilities as a "Patriotic Citizen".
An average Nigerian is suffering from Intellectual Slavery.
We have been caused to see life in a certain way which is a result of what we behold in the Nigeria of today (Poverty, Tribalism, Religious Intolerance, Suspicion, Hate, Negativity, Division etcetera.).

If you truly want change to reflect in Nigeria, it begins with you.
Decide to be responsible as a Patriotic Nigerian.
When you put on a Patriotic Mindset, you'll see more problems where you'll become the perfect solution.

After i heard the news of The Ethiopian airline Boeing 737 that crashed today killing over 150 people i felt compelled to drop this piece with a heavy heart and very deep sobriety..

Many people often wonder why GOD allows people to die through several ways when he has the power to avert the cause and atheists have used this issue to discredit the existence of GOD.

The bitter truth is every one of us must die at different times through different means regardless of the age. Whether by human error, gun,natural disasters,wars, plane crash, sickness...WE ALL MUST LEAVE THIS EARTH.

It is quite unfortunate that the earth does not have infinite resources for limitless number of species so by default,people must die for earth's ecological balance to be sustained. Imagine you, your entire family right from the previous 4 generations living in one building without anyone leaving...now you can imagine how choked you all will be.

In like manner, for the earth to maintain its balance, every living species must at one time or the other leave for new ones to have space. So the bitter truth is that people must die and as people leave this earth, new people come in through child birth and this balance must continue regardless of your prayer to live long....IF GOD ANSWERS EVERYBODY'S PRAYER FOR LONG LIFE I GUESS THIS WORLD WILL BE SATURATED.

What GOD cares about is our souls and whilst we cry on earth when anyone dies, to GOD it is home coming cos this earth is just a temporary place for our souls.

Our souls–that invisible and eternal part of us–is the part that connects us with God. It’s what makes us different than all other life forms on the planet: every human has a soul. Your soul is the real you and that is what GOD really cares about and not your earthly body. That’s why Jesus asked, “Is anything worth more than your soul?”(Mark 8:37)

Yes its ok to pray and wish for long life but stop bothering your head about who dies and who lives or when and how you die....it can happen at anytime so start preparing your soul for where you want it to be for eternity.

May the souls of the dead R.I.P..Amen!

there is one story i read some yrs back for nairaland frontpage. There was this guy from anambra state based in atlanta and working in a security firm. The bros come dey look for a homebased nigerian wife and im family back home come arrange one village girl for am. The guy marry d guy then train her for nursing school. Omo na wen d lady graduate and come dey work as a nurse na im she jus change am for d guy. She start to dey cheat on d guy and anytime d guy confront am dem go argue and she go call police on d guy for domestic abuse. Eventually she divorce d guy then the court order the guy to vacate im house for the lady plus make the lady get full custody of the two kids plus half of wetin im don invest also goes to d lady. This im ex wife come dey invite one younger black american guy wey come dey smash her for d house. Na so one afternoon dis guy come snap then enter im ride then drive to im former house wey dis lady dey. Nobody was at home except d lady. D bross start to dey argue with the lady and durin d argue im pull out gun then shoot her then also turned the gun on himself.omo wen i read dat story i jus weak. D bros for prevent all these heartache from happenin to him by jus dating a girl in america and gettin married to dat one instead of travelling all the way to naija to get the elusive african maiden. My Malaysian ex,( Punjabi) was something else tho we couldn't marry for racial reasons from her family. She was a manager in a radio station but will sweep, wash my clothes,clean toilets n bathroom but all she couldn't do was cook and I ended up teaching her how to cook African food

He was turning 35 n wanted to settle down, no time for play. Raves about how a good wife she is. Am in the U.S n have met nice Naija ladies myself. My elder brother too married a Naija lady Accountant here, two kids now, lovely humble lady, calls me uncle everytime . He's in IT. Both have daily 9-5 jobs.
