DrTee1: If you'll consider my perspective Ma'am:
I think people should go into relationships without a sense of entitlement. See your partner as you'll see your brother or friend of the same gender.
Give as much as you get, even if you are the female partner. Indeed, it may be better to even give more than you demand or receive.
Never consider sex as a gift or favour. Both parties enjoy intercourse and no party is doing the other a favour by having sex.
Always consider leaving a permanent positive impression ok your partner - and that has nothing to do with cash or sexual activity. Why? There would always be people with cash and sex - but there wouldn't always be alternatives with the positive character imprints you've left on the psyche of a partner.
To love another person is to open oneself up to being hurt, naturally, so there is no point guarding yourself perfectly and expecting the other party to win you entirely over. A romantic relationship is often a consensual arrangement between two adults who are equals in the eye of the law.
If we have been hurt by our parents and siblings, and sometimes, for the married ones, by our children, then people going into relationships must know the their partners might consciously or unconsciously hurt us at times. We must patiently continue to work at the relationship by communicating until the very end. That's how friends should behave. That's how families do.
Until communication breaks down irretrievably on the basis of irreconcilable character differences, each party must work very hard at the relationship A relationship must never be parasitic.
Finally, if a man or lady dumps a partner with a VISION for another with a TELEVISION (or car, cash, dress sense), such person would eventually watch the abandoned ex with a vision on his/her wife/husband's television in the fullness of time. Do not have any sex in any relationship. Sex is reservered for married couples. It is for procreation, bringing new human beings into this world. This is a serious commitment. Sex outside of marriage is fornication, a sin. So many have been decieved to thinking that sex is some fun activity to be had between any two adults. No, only married couples. Do this and spare the world of so many sad stories, scandals, heart aches, abandoned children, fatherless, motherless, dumped babies, abortion centres. - Do your relationship. Learn your lesson. Do not have sex until you are married and committed. |

ybalogs: I sat with my friend in a well-known porridge shop in a neighbouring town of Venice (Italy), the city of lights and water.
As we enjoyed our porridge, a man entered and sat at an empty table beside us.
He called the waiter and placed his order saying,
‘Two cups of porridge, one here, one on the wall.’
We heard this strange order with interest and observed that he was served with one cup of porridge but he paid for two.
As soon as he left, the waiter pasted a piece of paper on the wall saying
‘A Cup of porridge’.
While we were still there, two other men entered and ordered three cups of porridge, two on the table and one on the wall.
They had the two cups of porridge but paid for three and left.
This time also, the waiter did the same; he pasted a piece of paper on the wall saying, ‘A Cup of Porridge’.
It was something unique and perplexing for us.
We finished our porridge, paid the bill and left.
After a few days, we had a chance to go to this porridge shop again.
While we were enjoying our porridge, a poorly dressed man entered.
As he seated himself, he looked at the wall and said, 'One cup of porridge from the wall'.
The waiter served porridge to this man with the customary respect and dignity.
The man had his porridge and left without paying.
We were amazed to watch all this, as the waiter took off a piece of paper from the wall and threw it in the dust bin.
Now it was no surprise for us – the matter was very clear.
The great respect for the needy shown by the inhabitants of this town made our eyes well up in tears.
Ponder upon the need of what this man wanted...
He enters the porridge shop without having to lower his self-esteem…
he has no need to ask for a free cup of porridge…
without asking or knowing about the one who is giving this cup of porridge to him.
He only looked at the wall, placed an order for himself, enjoyed his porridge and left.
Probably the most beautiful wall you may ever see will be our wall of good deeds on the Day of Judgement.
This is what is Charity when you give from one hand & other hand does not know about it.
May the Almighty help us all to spend for the poor and the needy. …………………………………………………………… You are allowed to SHARE the update. So it's when you went to Venice that you saw Charity? Is only Oyibo that do charity in this world? Abi you didn't even travle anywhere and just copied and pasted this story from one forwared email? |

KINGwax007: that's a lie. The names or words doesn't and wouldn't sound English. It's the written aspect that looks like English word.
Just joking you're right But you are correct. Unlike the Europeans, we did not have any form or written alphabets to spell anything. We passed on our knowledge by mouth, from Generation to generation. Egypt had Hyrogliphics (symbols), Ethiopia, had their own letters for writing. The rest of Africa, nothing. Till whitemen came to colonise, hear our language, then attempt to use ENGLISH ALPHABETS, consonants and Vowels, to spell the sounds they were hearing. Carry the written text and give us back as our language. Why won't some words look like English words? But pronounced differently. |

The guy is having a tough time and is expecting OP to pray for him. If you did a bad thing, and God did not allow you enter heaven, where will you go? Is it not back to earth to come and see if your so called friends can beg God for you? - The story of Lazarus and the Rich man, didn't th rich man beg Abraham, "send one dead guy back to the living, go to my house and tell my 4 brothers not to live bad life style". Somebody is dead does not mean the person will forget that he came from Earth, or forget everybody's name. He still knows his friend. And is trying to communicate. In my church, we pray for the dead. That INCASE they have not entered heaven, let God spare them, clean their sins and take them in. MANY other churches just FORGET ABOUT dead people and pray ONLY for wealth and prosperity for the living members. Only the pastor chops all the wealth and forget about the members. |

A baby cannot survive without ubilical chord attached to the mother. Once it is born, total change. Baby does not need umbilical chord for ever and ever. So too are spiritual issues. They do not need matter to exist. |

This happens at least three nights every week and in recent dreams, I see myself trying to help him achieve a feat.
The irony is that sometimes in the dream, it occurred to me that he was dead but yet I still not cared.
This is 10years now that I lost him in a road accident. Even as teenagers, we were so close that we shared clothes and some people thought we were blood brothers.
I discussed this with his mum sometime ago and she told me she had a feeling her dead son was existing somewhere and that got me thinking. Could this be true?
. Of course your friend is existing somewhere. But the issue now is whether his state is bettee than your's or worse. If he's in a better state, (heaven), he might be asking God to help you through your challenges in life. If he's in a bad state (but not condemed), he may be expecting you to pray to God for him. Two of you were very good friends, does not mean he will just die like that and forget you. As you remember him, so is he remembering you. Pray for him to God. And Pray to God for yourself, He is trying to get your attention very close to God. He can see God, you cannot. I too have a friend who appears in my dreams. Usually when I do very bad things. He doesn't talk. He just look at me. If he was alive, I can't do those bad things in his presence. We were close when I was little. He died, 2005-6. When I wake up, i realise my foolish ways and confess my sins. |

Find the books to read, ask the questions. You will arrive at the correct church. Many pastors know this, and they all pull their members attention from the correct church by promisinng them prosperity, money and wealth, earthly treasures, that do not satisfy the soul. Non of them can remove your sin becuase they do not have the power nor authority to do so and this leaves the followers deeply distressed and troubled. |

People who have lost or are losing relationship with God talk like this and try to cover up that unclothedness by telling you God s everywhere including your bedroom, all that matters is personal connection bla bla. Lies! Deep down, they know they have no connection. By their fruits you shall know.... A person truely drawn to God has a strong longing for the presence and tabernacle of God. The moment you lose it, you sin more often, you hardly pray, no worship life etc. If you don't want attention go to a big Bible believing church. Nobody will call you out in Livingfaith, RCCG, Dunamis or Deeper Life. Stop making excuses. Stop advertising your church. Let those who are losing faith find their way to the right church. |

I know of only one church which does not care about who is rich or poor. Everybody sits on thesame bench. Everybody is given thesame spritual instructions. They don't beg you for Tithe. You can attend in slippers or Gucci shoes. The door is always open. The ushers will never drag you to any seat. If you like sit at the front, if you like sit at the back. The pastor is not worhipped. He only wears one cloth. He doesn't have house in any village and no personal property. You attend the Church to worship God. If you like pay attention, if you like be browsing your phone. The pastor will only let you know, that exactly what you reap on earth here is what you will sow. If you have spiritual problems, go and see him. He is only a vessle of God. He does not collect money for anything and at any time, the Bishop can remove him from that church and send to another church without any notice. Church is not his property. It is God's property. |

It not easy to contend with God and be in charge of your own death. Committing suicide is simply telling God that he does not have any further plans for you. Is that the attitude that you think will allow you enter Heaven and go and sit down with God and all the angels? Your pride will not even allow you enter heaven. So where will you go?
