How come Nigeria doesn't have a way of measuring productivity in workplace?

Dwveloped nations have it. One I know of is called KPI, Key Performance Indicators.
But that is only possible because their government has provided electricity, good roads, public transit, accomodation, and cheap affordable food for the masses, land telephone lines, pipe bourn water and gas to all houses.
So there's no excuse for somebody not to perform at work.

None of these amenities are in Nigeria. The lack of these are our main concerns and the reasons we give excuses for non productivity at work.

This is one of the reasons Nigerian government set up NYSC. National Youth Service Corps. To send graduate indegens of one part of Nigeria to another part of Nigeria to live, work, mix up and even marry.

But People REFUSE to mix up. Everybody giving excuse not to go the state you were posted to.

Now everyone remains in their home state and have become exceedingly tribalistic to each other.

The average Nigerian does not want his fellow Nigerian to succeed. They won't support, they talk you down etc. Let's stop blaming the government, when we solve our wickedness then 70% of the problem is solved.

Since our different chiefs and Obas do not meet and talk to each other, we, a very cultural people, naturally fight, compete and quarrel between each culture which also happens here on Nairaland.
We are foolishly expecting the government to join us together without us doing anything by ourselves.
