benjyyyyy07:Agberos on the road are bullies. People just be saying, "leave them jor.. Give them their money let them go". Money for what? What did they do to earn the money? Now our children have seen us whimping to agberos and have become whimps themselves Abgeros' children have seen him bullying and have become bullies themselves. |
Justiceleague1:Lazy whimp students? When police slap you. You collect. You give bribe. Agbero asks you, "Owoda?" And you yeild and give agbero money... You will say, "That's how Nigeria is! Just give them their money and go". You are a whimp. Your kids will see this behaviour where you can't stand up for yourself and copy it and become whimps themselves! A culture of whimping and bullying going around the whole country. |
MissIndependent:Nigerians. We Nigerians raised them animals. People go on social media preaching bullshit. But go back home and do the opposite. It is THAT OPPOSITE that the kids will see and learn Then perform such on their own mates. |
Benwems:And school shooting and killing is an American culture. Knife stabbing and killing is a British culture. |
meum:Schools of inferiority complex. Which British/American school is teaching Nigerian curriculum? But we are here, using British curriculum to sell market in Nigeria. At the end of the day, both the parents and kids will run to US or UK so they can be close to White Man, their master. |
Caleycash:Steve jobs of APPLE still died of cancer and divorce alone, even with all the iPhone and Mac money. Where is the happiness there? |
Lumidee007:The bad thing about being broke is that you don't even realise when it starts. You think you can just keep doing this little thing quietly. But that little thing is either wrong or not enough. And then surely with time, you land inside BrokeLand. The big challenge now is to look at your life from the beginning up to now and see which bad thing you may have done to land you in broke land and then change that bad behaviour. Maybe you were afraid to ask someone a question. Or you are too selfish? Or not challenging enough? You watch sharkTank or Dragon's Den (YouTube) and see business people securing funding to expand their business. They too were broke but inside that brokeNess, they started a business thing that they were so confident about so that they can get a loan to expand it and pay back. And finally come out of their brokeNess. I don't know. Everyone has a journey. People are rich because of certain things or ways they behave. Unfortunately, they distance themselves from broke poor people So poor people are not able to FOLLOW CLOSELY the same steps of rich people and copy them INTO also becoming rich. It's not by wearing shoe, watch and crying 50mp latest camera phone. Get close to a rich person. Don't beg him for money. Beg him for training/mentorship... |
EZENDIZUOGU:It's not a matter of whether other super markets are around. It is a matter of discrimination based on your skin colour and nationality in YOUR very own country. This is the problem they have in South Africa. The blacks own the land. The whites came and displaced them. Then separated the whole country and comunity into black, coloured and white. Don't mix, Don't marry. Don't have girl friend. Don't go to the same school. Don't go to the same church. Don't hold hands. Nothing. Just separate from each other. - What kind of Bulshit is that? Is it because British gave us independence in 1960? The British were already doing this SHIT in Nigeria back then. You are lucky you didn't see any of it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babs_Fafunwa Former Education Minister, Babatunde Fafunwa wrote in his autobiography of how he went to Ikoyi, (Lagos) in the evening after 6:00pm, back in the 50's and the Oyibo people called police for him, tied him to NEPA pole and FLOGGED THE living hell out of his back... In our own Lagos again !!Is that the kind of sh1t you want these Chinese people to do to us in Nigeria? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obP5N9V8e3A

DeepSight:Finally. Now you understand!. |
DeepSight:UK has its way of proper immigration. Follow the way no problem for you. But it is not by force to FORCE yourself into UK. Hence the Rwanda method. If you don't want to follow due process, you can always get your own battleship and invade UK, the same way the colonisers came by ship to invade Africa. Nothing spoil.
|
Judolisco:Then F**k the immigrant. Who sent them to UK before? UK is tired of illegal immigrants. So any humane punishment to them is ok. |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:Well, the illegal immigrants will kukuma not try it again knowing fully well that they are going to land in Rwanda. |
To become.... But we are suffering here. |
immortalcrown:Yes. Nigerian police basically do not give a f*** about the civilians. The police are struggling to keep Nigerian united. The civilians are yabbing each other, disobeying laws and always striving to destroy and divide the Nation. No single act of unity. So the police just punish everybody indefinitely. |
APOPTOSIS:Not so. We are not a nation. We are a collection of tribes that the external world chose to call a nation. We didn't give ourselves the name "Nigeria". We didn't even join together to form the nation. That's why people never do any type of Nation Building activities. Because no one has any idea how our 500 plus tribal groups are supposed to work together. Each kingdom heads itself and collectively everyone SPITS on the government that is forcing everybody together. Then each tribe comes online, here Nairaland, to blame the others for their failure. That's all this website is all about. Blaming and insulting other tribes people. Western nations are not like this. Their people bind together and fight off neighbouring countries. As they fight together, they speak one language and elect one leader and they all obey they leader and respect their nation. Our case is totally different. We didn't fight anybody. We didn't come together, we didn't elect our first leaders. Infact, Military had to FORCE itself upon us for 33 years to FORCE us to comply. |
hardon1:They that are not broke, why don't they use the group chat avenue to help the broke people? |
AbuTwins:Few decades ago, there were jobs, There was hope. $1 ~ N150. Even though it was high, we had hope it will reduce to N100 or N50. Today, that it is N1200, we don't have hope. We know it will increase more N2000 or even N3000. We have lost hope that is the difference between now and few decades ago. |
LushGreenz:But if they told him, He will not agree! Nigerian people should marry Nigerians. Leave all these USA people and their madness, NO MATTER how beautiful they look. Forget it. |
winner37:I don't know. It's like Nigerian men should NEVER TRY to marry USA women, Black or White. Our thinking styles are TOO DIFFERENT. Let's forget pretending. |
Jakumo:WHHHHHYYYYYYYYYY did he marry this type of woman? WWWWHHHHYYYYYYYYYYY? ![]() ?? |
Iberl:I pity him... |
Sweetvie:When trouble sleep, Yanga go wake am. Na wetin E dey find? Wahala. - Wahala has come now, and everybody looking for excuse. Why did first do the yanga? Suffer the consequences. |
osazsky:It's a f***ing a**hole thing. What do you mean by "it's a NIgerian thing"? Bad people spoiling this country. |
MIGHTYMAN82:Not enough. Let him pass through the complete 6 months. We need to see the changes at the end of the period. If he hasn't changed, add another 6 months. |
lexy2014:Scapegoat for shim people. |
Instead of all this drops % and MW000.... Why not just say, There is NO LIGHT or There is LIGHT? This complex English does not mean anything to anybody.
|
I thought it will this kind of sister that he has.
|
westlius:NO. Leave the school alone and just ... buy a f*** life jacket for your own kid!!!! - This f***ing problem in Nigeria will never go until people just carry the responsibility for themselves on their head. Unfortunately, some kids will have and some will not have, leading to jealously, bullying and fighting in the school. If there's any other event that the school wants to organise and they don't have any safety precuations for the kids, just keep your kid at home. Worst-worst, home school your child and F*** the nation. The nation has failed everybody!. |
buJu234:Oga this matter tire. I want to get to the root cause of this discrepancy before I die. The last stage I reached, one oyibo said that Colder countries are richer than hot ones. Hence that's why there's always poverty and backwardness in Africa and the opposite in Europe and US See video below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmrra8i4hZY&pp=ygUfd2h5IGNvbGRlciBjb3VudHJpZXMgYXJlIHJpY2hlcg%3D%3D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Z6zM0W1bLg&pp=ygUfd2h5IGNvbGRlciBjb3VudHJpZXMgYXJlIHJpY2hlcg%3D%3D |
APOPTOSIS:Same issue in construction sites. How ready are you to buy each and every worker on this site these safety gear? And every damn thing is imported! PLUS safety shoes? We are living in Nigeria and yet unable to use any of our resources to make clothes and other gear for ourselves. Always, the white man and his resources are needed for everything we do. At the end of the day, this equipment will even be making them HOT under this hot sun. So it seems we should JUST FORGET about doing certain things in this particular country, Nigeria. Any SINGLE thing that one wants to do, one has to import this and that from around the world and bear the extra costs.
|
RealSolution001:I'm really very sorry for this. Life jacket is costly. They don't have money for it. ... They were trying to save costs... They're not sure how much the movie will make as we have no structured way of getting money from movies. Nigerians will pirate the movie and no money will get back to the makers despite all their efforts. |
Quelme:In US, movie industry brings about a lot of business. How? Well a lot of technicians are involved in creating and maintaining every equipment used in the film And all these technicians are paid justly for their service. The movie is watched mainly in cinemas where people buy movie tickets. The ticket money is used to pay the actors and ALL the supporting staff. That is their cultural model that works very fine for them. Since every supporting staff/technician gets paid well, then the movie quality is always very high. In Nigeria, we simply don't have same culture. Bring out your great film and people will pirate it today. No money for you and your effort. As a result, technicians and supporting staff will not lend a hand to make sure equipment functions well. Hence the reason these guys took a rubbish boat with no safety jacket and died in the process. Who's fault really is it? |
