Bikonu, why would you even need to advice a wife to want to be with her husband. We only live this life once what is the point in being married when you can feel the warmth of your significant other next to you, some people just want to work work and work, no life, nothing. Why did she marry when she knew she couldn't survive staying with a man for a long period of time.

The only tangible reason are the children but that is a discussion for man and wife not just wife alone.

First of all, please don't have it in mind that your husband doesn't love you o, he probably does. He is just finding it hard to change from the single to "married" mentality

All this teaching him a lesson talk by moving out of the house usually backfires. Don't live your matrimonial home if you have any plans on going back.

7 years is a very long time not to know a dude well especially one that smokes so can't really blame him, he is just doing what he has been doing all along

His idea of marriage might be different from yours, so all you have to do is communicate with him you are his woman so you should know how what to do and how to talk to your husband.

In the generation of facebook, blackberry and the whole shebang, why won't a graduate be able to operate a computer system.
So all graduates are dumb or what, is it not the same graduates that works in the banks, engineers, doctors etc.
The fault entirely is on INEC, unbelievable that they are blaming the Corps.
Their expensive machines were very faulty, I heard of cases where the thumb print scanner won't even work!, they could not log in details. Nothing/Nada/Zilch worked properly.

Please be selfish, why would you be setting yourself for a lifetime of unhappiness I really don't know. Go with your heart. You are still  young, rather a period of resentment + hatred for you by the man than a life time of you sad with what ifs and I-thy-know. I agree completely with what Wislet says.

Even if it ends up not working with your sweetheart, at least you know you tried your best, you don't have any deep feelings for the man you are about to marry so infact nothing lost from that side

The man you did the traditional wedding with will be ok, he will not be the first one to be jilted, read Thecongo story, who knows you leaving him might be the best thing that will ever happen to him

The guy lives at home with his parents, sleeps all day. At 27, he is still rapping up and down the whole place hoping to be discovered. I doubt his "successful business" can sustain him were he to stay alone not to talk of if he decides to marry.

A 20kg rice is ~ 22 pounds and will last you at least a month + half if not more, get those at one of the Pakistan or African shops. Also your yam etc.
If you like fruit so much ALDI are forever on sales on fruit, you could buy non perishable fruits there in bulk and even your seedless grapes.
A box of chicken is ~18 pounds where I get them from - just thighs though and they are so much , that should last you a month also if not more.
Buy your food items in bulk and I don't see how you will spend 240 pounds per month. You really should be getting only food stuffs like milk and bread weekly. . everything else, buy monthly.
And lastly you better curb your sweet tooth, you can't afford to be eating all you like

@ Baylor, it seems you are a fresh graduate,  if you are, my friend we have all been in the situation before anyway ,  first thing first, why rent a bedroom flat .?? A room is enough for now. In london, it is  ~400 inclusive with bills in almost every reasonable place in London, there are some places you could get as low as 280 pounds. With that, you are saving at least 400 pounds on rent, water tax etc.

Everything else is reasonable but what the heck are you eating for 240 pounds per month. . You could easily be saving at least 500 pounds more every month

One more thing, why don't you get a bundle. Sky TV + Broadband + Landphone - it is way cheaper

While in college, had a friend who was bulimic, even with all her efforts/promises e.t.c to stop throwing up, she just couldn't. She had to go through a lot of counselling to overcome the illness

Unfortunately in situations like this, the mama is usually the catalyst to the whole problem. I have to agree with Mutter on this matter, get rid of the wife and the MIL. If she want to save her marriage, let her come back without the mama. She obviously has no respect for you, there is a time to be mr nice , not everytime jare, be firm. Imagine sleeping outside for 4 days with no call from her or are you exaggerating?
