FamilyRe: Advice Needed Please! by vanitty: 6:33pm On Apr 17, 2012
Na wa.
After reading your other posts on this topic, the mother should just let the daughter do what she wants, that is not the kind of girl you will be fighting for, omo ti ko wu yan lori. Very ungrateful desperate child.
She definitely takes after her papa. Silly girl, she thinks marriage is just for a day.
FamilyRe: A Man And A Woman Can Never Be Equal by vanitty: 2:09pm On Apr 14, 2012
YES. CAPITAL YES
I don't plan on raising insecure female children.
My female children are definitely equal if not better than any random male they meet during their life's journey.
Do you think female bosses think they are inferior (or whatever the opposite of equal) to their male subordinates
Just raise your kids to have respect for everyone not just their male counterpart. Please don't train those poor kids to think they can be stepped on by any man. A husband + wife relationship is totally different
FamilyRe: I Caught My Husband Cheating On Me by vanitty: 10:56pm On Apr 04, 2012
See advice, the lady is not happy and yet some are telling her to keep quiet to "save" her marriage. Is she not part of the marriage! I seriously wonder what some people think is a definition of this "marriage".
Even more interesting is some are "advising" her to not say anything so she does not push the man outside. Na wa for advice/opinion/double standards
Poster, think it through and act accordingly as you seem fit. Just don't believe all this nonsense that all men cheats and then accept it as a way of life. Pele dear. It is well.

If your wife has the schedule Hbabe says she has, from 5am and not getting back home till around 9pm and you still expect her to cook for you that late at night, you are a very wicked man. Haba, that is just plain cruelty. Even if she "insists" on cooking your efo riro and pounded yam for you, you should say No. That is what a sensible man will do. Hbabe, good that you have spoken to your husband and he has offered some sort of help. However, as one baba ijebu said on this thread, don't go and help chinko buy his house cash down. Invest in plastic frozen containers, during the weekend, make the soup in bulk and freeze. This tip will be helpful when you have kids, you can't be feeding your kids on takeaway everyday, you will eventually go bankrupt. You are the only one that knows how to "woo" your husband, make him more involved in the housework. EVERYONE can cook, all this I can't cook blabla does not wash with me, the taste might be "unique"lol but atleast he makes the effort, coo and coo some more when he cooks, let him think He has done the greatest thing in the world, let his head swell, with time he will be boasting to you about the efo he made last week. At this point, you can't fight fire with fire, as someone said maybe jokingly but you should have watched him well well before you got married to him but now you have to train him and as I said before you are the only one that knows how to make his head swell. One last thing, don't kill yourself o. 5am to 9pm ko easy at all. Be vocal, if you are exhausted, let him know. Don't suffer and smile in silence. Marriage is meant to be enjoyed.

FamilyRe: How Do Career Women Cope With Domestic Chores? - Help! by vanitty: 2:01pm On Feb 15, 2012
Lmao. Funny thread. Superwoman plenty for Nigeria o.

It is absolutely impossible for a "career woman" do to ALL the chores around the house, cook etc and not resentful towards her other half. After a while, regardless of how "superwomaing" you are, you start to feel cheated and then that is where the problem starts

Imagine, so we both leave the house at 7am, come back home at 8pm and you still expect me to do ALL the chores, cooking while you do what exactly?? and you will use your mouth to eat the food I slaved over while you were watching TV or doing whatever you were doing.

I think the problem here, is most men think they did women a favour by marrying them. When a man think he did you a favour by marrying you that is when he will start misbehaving.

Single ladies, carry yourself with dignity, don't let anyman think he did you a favour by marrying you. Just pray when you are looking for a hubby that God should please give you a good, responsible man but most importantly someone that is your best friend and has a conscience

Anyway jokes apart,Poster please listen here, if you are truly doing all you typed for the girl kudos to you jare.
