FamilyRe: Must The Husband Be 100% Responsible For The Family Bills? by vanitty: 2:25pm On Nov 14, 2009
Typical religious claptrap! The Pastor says this or that. Dont you people have a mind of your own? Is the Pastor going to help the man when he is so damn stressed out worrying about bill when his wife is using her earnings to by shoes etc? Add unto the paying the bills, the need to impress in-laws and extended family members by spending money one does not have. Nigeria will never progress as long as the individual cannot be allowed to grow without societal unreasonable pressure,

It is as if, most modern Nigerian women respect the man as the Head of the family. Apart from the responsiblity what are the benefits of being a head of a family?

Am I still allowed to flog my wife( or the odd slap) as the head of the family or have my way with her regardless of her wishes?
Ki lo je lara bayi. cheesy
why don't you mind your business, do you intend to marry more than one wife? Please marry someone that shares your belief and let others pray to God for husbands that will be a father, lover and husband to them
If the girls you know don't respect the head of their family undecided mine does . . . . . . so you think being the head of the family entails flogging and slaps? I can see you are not yet a man.
FamilyRe: Must The Husband Be 100% Responsible For The Family Bills? by vanitty: 1:55pm On Nov 14, 2009
yes a man should be responsible for everything, that is why he is the head, the woman however can support if she want.
As our pastor said the other day, let just pray all the unmarried ladies marry men that will hapily provide with a smile not boys that will be screaming 50-50. Amen

redsky1:
please people defending peckham as if its the best thing since sliced bread get real, it is a dump - u can dash me that £350K+ house fully paid for and buy me a jeep and put outside the house - nothing in this world would make me move there. what about the crime rates there or what peckham no longer has a gang problem and now i'm reading stories of increased incidents of gang rapes.

get real - yes those of us that live outside these areas find it a pain sometimes when we can't buy our food locally but what the hell in a car for. na wah o - i know where i can go to get my naija food and go home in peace and sleep well at night.
Oh we you just hush up, we get it you live in the country clap for yourself

For a proper Nigeria girl living in london, it will be almost unbelievable if she says she has never been to peckham before undecided
Peckham is the perfect place to buy Nigeria foodstuffs among other things
Besides peckham has always been like that, I remember the days of fools and horses - 1981 - 199something, even before peckham was "annexxed" by Nigerians
i maintain my suggestion, get 'em in a closed pit with some starved and upset 200 King Cobras or Black Mambas per terrorist. the king cobra strikes and knocks its victim down, he continues to strike until the victim gets out of the way, meanwhile once struck the poison knocks down the victim, he cant get out of the way, he recieves more strikes, in about an hour he is struggling with the pain of the strikes as well as the neurotoxic venom of the snake. and more importantly it will cost the taxpayer 0$ . . . see, at the end the cobras have something to feed on cheesy and wait for the next terrorist cool
Seconded.
