Blocking the roads and peoples lives, yet people here are in support

Men most Nigerians are just wicked men

In fact I'm starting to believe some of these guys that block the roads are just plain evil.

and those supporting the pains of motorist stuck in traffic forever, may God forgive you, cause you don't know what you are doing.

Imagine a pregnant woman in labor stuck in traffic for 10 hours.

May God forgive all you wicked people.

This man has been protesting since his youth, even now, he leaves the comfort of America (A country Nigerians are dying to go to), to come to Nigeria to protest.

What is his reward for all this?

He gets cursed by his own people, while they make songs for "Jagagban"


This life is funny, but solace is that God judges all.

It doesn't have to be Either, Or.

No matter what, blocking the road is just wrong in my opinion, especially blocking all the lanes.

A working compromise would be to block 1/2 or 3/4 of the road, so that traffic comes to a crawl, but yet people can still get pass.

Imagine spending 12 hours on one spot, it really is not fair.

I have dreamed of Nigerians having the guts to protest, and I really am happy, but the organizers should not spoil this thing.

The only reason they block the roads is because they know that's the only way govt will take them serious.

A family member spent almost 12 hours on the road this past weekend, then think about others that had emergencies to attend to, it really is not fair, it's not fair at all.

They could protest and leave one lane open, so that there is a slow down of traffic to draw attention to the protest, but not a total halt of traffic.

Not everyone has free time, some people actually have life and death things to do, appointments to keep.

The funny thing is that some of the people they blocked might actually also support the protest, or might have actually joined it at some point. So it's also unfair to them. Imagine you joined the protest on Friday, but on Sunday you were blocked by the same protesters you supported, causing you to miss a flight, an appointment, a hospital visit, e.t.c

Nobody is thinking about others lives, well I guess such is our selfish human nature.

What about the cars with sick people going to the hospital, those travelling abroad, and so so many more cares people might have to attend to.

When you block the road, just like SARS, you cause suffering to the masses.

I have always said, if I were the head of police or a governor with influence over police, or the president... the way I'd check all these useless police officers is to fire their division heads, whoever they may be, if their lower ranking officers misbehave consistently, i.e, a pattern of corruption left unchecked.

If you are the head of police and you want your policy implemented to the fullest extent, then you must fire the heads of police divisions who can't manage their officers, its as simple as that.
