See how much these politicians have, yet they will be empowering you with $1 per day trader moni (N10,000), smh! When someone like Sowore comes and promises Nigerians N100,000 minimum wage (~$300), they will say "no I don't want", smh ![]() |
InvertedHammer:and these same people will be going around asking for help, I just don't get it. |
ChidiAlaigbo:A Senile buhari is our best bet? Gosh! |
Kaetoh:The number of stupid people in Nigeria outnumbers those that have sense. Senseless people deciding our collective future, it really is a shame brah! |

Let's make a bet, that by 2023, Nigeria would still be the same sh*thole that it is today if Atiku or Buhari were to win the upcoming elections. Electricity : By 2023, you still would not have light on a regular basis. The country would still be struggling to generate 4,000-5,000MW. Currency: The Naira would slide down to N600 to a dollar. Poverty: Due to inflation and sliding currency, poverty rates would tend to increase. Security: Same ol story of underpaid and under equipped police and army forces expected to go sacrifice their lives for the country. Same embittered armed forced transferring their pain to unarmed civilians any chance they get. Infrastructure: Still struggling with roads and rails connecting the entire Nigeria. Healthcare: Still have a country were the average life span is around 47 years. Presidents and politicians that go overseas at the slightest of ailments ... You know deep down in your hearts that what I'm saying is true, but you will still choose to be headstrong and dive headlong into the disaster that is a future of the same or worse for Nigeria? Why? Just to spite another tribe? Igbos spiting Yorubas? or vice versa? Why can't you simply go to the polling booth and vote for the right person, leaving the rest to God? Why must you all be herded like goats to their ineluctable slaughter? |
wow, I can't believe this |
The article was even written on April 20, 2018 http://thenationonlineng.net/senate-to-quiz-igp-dss-dg-over-thugs-invasion/ |
semyman:You have a mod supporting an "alleged" killer BOLDLY on the front page of this forum and you are here complaining about grammar? bros! |
How do advertisers still advertise on this site, where you have a mod that promotes death and maiming of individuals and a whole site that promotes tribalism? I guess the companies that are aware have already bailed out, its left for the ignorant companies that think nairaland is a place to advertise and get customers. |
Mynd44:wait... are you really a mod? I hope you know the guy you are praising may have killed innocent souls and destroyed families! Na wa for nairaland, hopefully another forum will overtake you guys soon. |
Bluntemperor:what about sowore? moghalu? |
Lol, if you ask me, that boy needs LESS chicken, not more, lol ![]() |
Jeezuzpick:yeah, but do they fire shots in the air indiscriminately though? With live ammunition? |
Imagine firing shots indiscriminately in the air, not minding the trajectory angles and the possibility of killing random people with falling bullets. I feel for him, but as a whole, their actions were very very irresponsible. I wish him a speedy recovery and I also wish they have some common sense as well. |
onatisi:Sowore has a masters in PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION from one of the best Universities on Planet Earth, Columbia! 6 Things You Need to Know About the "Father" of Public AdministrationI'm sure you can deduce from the excerpt the significance of public administration and by extension, this makes Sowore the MOST QUALIFIED CANDIDATE RUNNING FOR PRESIDENCY IN 2019. BTW, what experience did Buhari have before becoming president? Was it his ability to execute a coup and subvert a growing democracy? |
They will just be using ur heads during election and all of you suffering and smiling champions will be shouting APC and PDP here and there. Buhari was elected, cancelled all his campaign promises sharply. You think Atiku will be better? At least Jimi sounds a bit intelligent and with no known godfather. Una mumu never do Nigerians? Just like how Nigerians were fighting to defend MMM. You should have seen how people will be cursing you then, when you advice them to stay away from MMM. Even though it was clear for all to see that MMM was a fraud, yet they all plunged into financial demise head first; well at least the majority of the losers. Una mumu never do Nigerians? Chai! I rebuke every spirit that curses Nigerians to advocate for failure in Jesus Name! My candidate is Sowore and I will campaign for him, win or lose, because I personally have to see a great Nigeria before my old age. I will not grow old and die and Nigeria still be ruled by illiterate, corrupt and downright evil people. God forbid! |
No wonder Ameachi said this country will never change Fashola was there, promised train will start working in 2013. Fast forward 6 years and this incoming stooge is promising another 4 years of waiting for train. I'm sure after his first four years and a couple more pillars added, he will say that the project can't be completed in 4 years and that we should vote for continuity. 6 + 8 years = 14 years with no gaurantee of ever seeing a train. Ameachi - "Nigeria will never change" - Can you all now see his point? Imaginary train : 14+ years Electricity : from vision 2020 to vision 2040 I guess. Lagos : Ibadan Expressway, since my childhood. ... Some Nigerians will grow old and die and still never witness 24/7 power supply, even if it's just for one month. Ameachi - "Nigeria will never change" |
Meanwhile, this is fashola promising that rail will be ready, all the way back in 2013. The way these guys steal our money eh, I just don't get it. https://www.nairaland.com/1156265/lagos-light-rail-ready-june

When I was younger, I remember the name of the past leaders Buhari and Atiku, now as a man those names are still been thrown around to rule us. It's one thing if they had made a successful Nigeria, but we all know Nigeria has become a disgrace to the black race, as it should have been one of the best countries on the face of this planet. Even my Lebanese friend in Nigeria, says it all the time, that Nigeria should have been a very great country if not that we elect "useless" people. My question is that "una mumu never do"? Are we allergic to progress in this part of the world, cause I don't understand why anyone in their right senses would want to waste another 4 years of their life, another 4 years of the countries life. If you know that in 4 years, after electing either Atiku or Buhari that most, if not all of the sectors will remain in decay, then why are you drumming up support for these people? I pray that we can come to forgive ourselves and believe that we truly deserve better. Don't be afraid of good things.

Fighting corruption indeed |
After the envelope was handed over to him, you can see that they quickly realized that they were on camera. Guy behind the camera signals with his hands that they should keep it low, guy in black reacts. Guy in blue shirt halts his counting, seems he was counting just how many envelopes needed to be given. At the end, they mellow out, keep the envelope below the camera view and proceed to act "normal" |
Sam0:What kind of reasoning is this? If the N10,000 is used in a month, then what is N10,000 divided by 30? N10,000/30 = N333 N333 per day is less than N355/$1 per day. Does it make sense to you now? |
cucumbae:I was just going to type this. Police was right there when the thuggery was taking place, yet they make arrests way way way after the fact, mtcheew ![]() |
Always just hoping on oil. I mean I understand that Oil is the mainstay of our economy as at now, but should it remain the same? Should we be held at the mercy of capricious oil prices forever? I'm sure Labor in Nigeria is cheaper than China, so how come Global Corporations haven't moved operations to Nigeria? Does our illiteracy rate have something to do with this? There are so many other things Nigeria has to offer to be able to generate income rivaling that of Oil sales, but it seems once money is coming in from somewhere (oil in this case), we just get complacent and never bother exploring and exploiting other forms of income. |
Just look at all these thugs carrying Knifes What is Nigeria degenerating into? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxwfsLpYrJA |
Newboss:Why won't he react to a country were they are still struggling to produce 4,000MW of Electricity, when governors are taking bribe live on tape, were the military bases can be sacked by a ragtag group... What you call thuggery, I call passion and I'm sure the people over at Columbia University do not admit thugs to their prestigious programs. |
The President is being begged to come and debate while Obama's co-alumni is having to beg to be included, sigh |

Just how please . We the youths keep displaying religious and ethnic bigotry in very serious issues. How gullible have the masses become? We age everyday yet without any tangible earnings, talk more of savings yet people pile up every day under rain and sun to support these blind leaders who care less about them. Your parents are even better off, at least they served the country as youngs albeit left in their old age to struggle for their pensions which often times they die doing this. Think about yourself, think about your old age when you won't have no government handouts as pensions. Then your bones are weak and you have no pensions, no savings, no investments , no support, no insurance and no hope. Make hay while the sun lasts. Say no to bigotry of any sort, make the best of choices in the forthcoming elections. Do not give in to ethnic or religious bigotry.
