I was pondering whether to speak up seeing as in your pain, you may not be willing to take any more words and are likely to leave your marriage in the end.

However,
I was in your shoes, in my case hated by my family(mother especially), thus i sought love and married not for riches, but because like you i wanted a family with love.

My inlaws are a story for another day but i have faced traps, set up, which through God i escaped.

I have learnt to Listen with my heart (Spirit) rather than emotions.

I have faced trials and persecutions for my decision to remain in my marriage and fight not by myself but through and with God.

Your Sister in Law wants you to leave your husband knowing it will destoy you.

But in the end the decision is yours and the consequences, yours and yours to bear no one here would bear it with you.

So the Judge can not sentence any one for whether big or small offences without Judgement first therefore no one can go to "purging" without his guilt being established via Judgement.

And as you know Judgment day is still being awaited.

The reason why the serpent easily used Eve to get Adam is because Adam was not ruling his wife but was in equal partnership with her. Hence Eve was taking decisions in the Garden of Eden without the permission of Adam.

In Genesis 3:16, God gave man the power to rule over a woman. The man becomes the King of his family. To rule his home, he needs more than one wife because monogamy is base on equal partnership.

That is the Origin of polygamy. God created polygamy to give man authority over his wives.

Hence God can recommend polygamy for a man if it becomes necessary.

In Matthew 25:1-13, Jesus used a polygamous marriage as a parable to illustrate His second coming.

Jesus can not use an abominable act to illustrate His second coming.

In 1 Corinthians 7:29, Apostle Paul noted that there are men among them that have wives. He advised these polygamous men not to be proud but to remain humble as if they have no wife.

However , almost all the original plans of God were adjusted after the fall of man.

When God decides to adjust His original plans, it was for a reason. If you regard the adjusted plan of God as a sin, then you are mocking God.

However there are many wealthy men in our society who has the financial ability to cater for two or more women and many children but because of the doctrines of their churches, they have only one wife.

In some cases, the one wife will have one or two kids for him. Hence whenever the man joins his ancestors, his envious relations will kill his few children and take over his properties.

Hence a wealthy man needs to have many wives and many kids as a self defence.
