In as much as I appreciate the good work going on in Lagos state, I will plead with Lagos state government to hearken to the cry of the masses as far as this issue is concern. 400% increment of LUC is quite high considering the fact that, there is no effective price regulation agency, Lagos landlord might also increase tenancy rent by over 400% to justify LUC reviewed amount. |
Imagine an old man lied just because he wanted to score a cheap political point even at the detriment of an existing diplomatic ties between Thailand and Nigeria. How can we move forward with these crop of leaders manning our daily affairs? In a saner climes such a lying minister will show serious remorse by openly apologizing to Nigerians then resign immediately. This is an int'l disgrace! |
Gggg102:In my own opinion, most immigrants would ordinarily prefer to live in their country to proffer solutions to diverse challenges as identified but constraints by the following: 1. No foundation laid for any good thing/talent to strive. Staying behind in a country like ours will automatically lead to "killed dream". We lack enabling environment here. 2. Lack of motivation. People tends to fall for "eye service" rather than those who give in their best in the job. 3. Nepotism: lack of equal opportunity. People rather give role to their relatives and friends at the detriment of the overall goal which would in turn impact the productivity or value chain. 4. Poor reward system: most employers in my country behaves as if they are helping you rather than appreciating your input which will eventually contribute to the overall goal. Due to this, they are not moved to give a reward you deserves which might demotivate one not to give his/her best. 5. Government: They don't seem to appreciate talents but rather politicize every sector to serve their shallow minded agenda. Still environmental issue though. 6. Parents: some of our parents who gave in their best, the way they turned out to be treated would definitely not allow them to instill such disciplines in their wards there by turning them against the state. For instance, I watch an interview of one retired Commissioner of Police who claimed he's not received bribe in his entire life in the service. Out of 35years in service, he spent 26 years in CID. Rose from constable to CP and was later appointed chairman of NDLEA but does not have a wall to call his own "house". Government hasn't helped him to at least provide him a shelter, he's still living in rented apartment. Do you think if any of his children will emulate their father when given such opportunity to serve again? |
Same law that cannot jail Evans the kidnapper with glaring evidences against him? I don't think our law is worth to be trusted. Imagine a lawyer putting his integrity on the line to defend Evans. And I ask myself, where is our conscience as a country? pejuakinab: |
I have only one question to ask Mr Finebone or what is he called; Why can't you advise your sinking APC-led FG to also score cheap and pedestrian political point as reason by you to at least pay a visit to Benue state and to apologize to Nigerians for failing to live up to the least expectation of governance "security of life and property"? Is it not better to show empathy to other community/state that suffered attack due to inept govt rather than what your pay-master did by looting the state dry to sponsor the last election? It is a shame that, you guys still believed Nigerians haven't seen all yet... We are ready and our votes must count with PVC or no PVC, we would vote and ensure it counts. |
Another Ass-licker spotted. Has your pay master ever waited for full details before reacting on similar disaster suffered by the western nations? You guys are just playing God, so this explanation is necessitated to clear the air in anticipation of 2019 election? Failure dooms in APC insha Allah! |
APC, government of openness? I laughed in Swahili language. Same govt that is hiding the cost of PMB London hospital jamboree is claiming openness? APC won't even look back when they are selling lies sha. |
The second coming of PMB has only proven us right in one aspect; the over hyped integrity being thrown into the mud. As for Lai, we already know he is a big threat to democracy and he would continue to fail in his bid to stifle the media. Let me also admonish the main stream media, your reportage at this crucial time will contribute little or no value to the contemporary way in which factual reportage are being promoted. It is high time you keyed into factual reportage even in the face of intimidation and threat by Lai Muhammed and his team so that your name would be mentioned as one of the people went extra miles to protect the ethics of his/her profession. It is very obvious at this time that Nigerians have decided to follow any candidate except PMB. |
I hope this won't be another plan of strange bird fellows coming together to hijack power then goofed afterwards o. A case study is APC. |
So we should fry fufu because Ikpeazu is cycling with over 40 armed men not pictured because they want to score a political point? Let's assume he's even cycling alone, what is the chain value of this activity to the common man on the street of Abia? Abeg make we hear word jorr! |
Continue to deceive yourself Mr VP. Why were you silent when 7 governors visited the Vila to endorse the evil reelection? What about the noise made by Shittu during the last FEC meeting? Are you also saying that you were blind and you didn't noticed the customized caps and other stuffs he shared during the meeting? Amaechi was reappointed campaign DG but took the presidency over 2 weeks to deny when we all frowned at such insensitivity when innocent people just lost their lives to herdsmen brutality but what matters to you and your boss is reelection. Babachir Lawal arrest is another tactics to hoodwink to gullible that there anything near fight against corruption. It is important to note that power is transient, continue to compromise your faith because of politics. |
So all these cooked up explanations are just pouring in because of OBJ's letter? |
And it took the presidency over one week to react. I learned the so-called south east and south west APC leaders have also endorsed him. I won't be surprised Femi will come out and tell us another lies about their useless and satanic endorsement. And tomorrow, somebody will come here to tell me that Femi is a pastor. Pastor my foot! |
Can any good and reliable news be reported by a propagandist newspaper? Nation newspaper owned by Asiwaju Tinubu always known for biased and self serving agenda in its reportages. Believe the nation newspaper at your own perils. If truly the so-called cattle colony enjoys so much support as being published here, they should go ahead and name the states that endorsed this devilish plan. It can only be that Kogi boy who is neck bent on "eye service" it is a pity, Kogi state hasn't really enjoyed the dividends of democracy, always exposed to poor and ineffective leadership. |

Will this media tour stop Akpabio and Udom's feud? Just asking mbok... |
The same body language that was selling PMB higher than he deserved is bringing him down beneath the balance of modulation. Femi is just being economical with the truth. You were busy then casting aspersions on GEJ because he was alleged to have been dancing same time acclaimed chibok girls were kidnapped. Now you want us to applaud PMB for not personally reacting to the senseless killings by his kinsmen. What an insensitive statement from a supposed learned person like Femi! I recalled how swiftly PMB react once there is a disaster in France, America or England. How come he's not doing same at home? We were applauding you for your impressive write-ups then not knowing that, you lack the capacity to live up to what you were writing about. |
These ladies and guys could make good acting team over there. May their soul continue to find rest. |
I stand with #Back2Daura crusaders. I support #Endtyranyin21stcentury movement The youth must live up to the expectations towards creating a new order. We must remember at all times that, youths are the engine room of any economy, without the youth productivity of a country suffers... In the past, the so-called elders and politicians took advantage of the joblessness created as a result of misrule to cause division among the youths. It is important we realized hunger has no political party affiliation. #Stopbeinganinstrumentofdestructionoflifeandpropertyinthehandsofselfishpoliticians! |
Am happy this news is coming from Sun newspaper, Orji Uzor Kalu supposed owner is claiming that, the killings are politically motivated to frustrate so-called anti corruption war. I don't think OUK is a Nigerian. |
I totally agree with Prof on this even though one may be tempted to reopen the debate on the need for state policing. However, one thing is certain here, Prof was very blunt to have admitted that both FG and State Govt have woefully failed the people they both swore to protect. Also, one can easily infer Prof's truthful disposition that they (Including Prof himself) have all failed as a political party to live up to their numerous promises which protection of life and properties are Paramount. I suppose if he continues like this, his pay master would certainly realize that he does not need anything near reelection but rather focus his energy on mending all the collapsed bridges and ethnic polarization as experienced since his emergence as C-in-C. |
So if Orthom didn't cry out about being abandoned by the presidency, PMB would not have resolved to meet him at least to have a clearer situational report from the chief security officer of the affected area? It is well o! |
I guess this august visit is not unconnected with persuasions to increase tempo on more propaganda on the pulpit for 2019? It happened before so am not surprised. We witnessed a pulpit turned to an ordinary political campaign platform with press men mostly from the Nation newspaper and the likes to feed on in every subsequent week that preceded the last election. Won't be surprised of a replay only that, Nigerians are wiser than they perceived. |
Another sycophant spotted. You mean, you will canvass for him to win majority votes in 2019 despite the odd. Thank God you acknowledged there are odds occasioned by his misruling. But before I forget, please note Mr SINator Udoedeghe, there is this saying that you can't give what you don't have: Have you ever convinced reasonable and exposed Akwa Ibomites to vote for you based on your advanced and reasonable disposition or arguments? If you can't do same for yourself, am still wondering how that will be possible for someone who have lost all bearings of governance in the last 2 years +. However, I congratulate you on your new appointment to share in the loot from our common patrimony. It is obvious, you are cornered to reason inline with your selfish gains. |
Have they reduced from 57 achievements they told us during the independence anniversary? These people have no single shame. |
Absolutely, there is sense in practicing a single tenure system but the idea of rotation is what would deprive supposed good leaders from emerging as president. Take for instance a region that produce a president would have to wait for another 30yrs before it gets to their turn again. This would create serious limitation to the subsequent generation within that geopolitical zone, locking out potential leaders... We can only strengthen our democracy and expunge the present state of origin and replace same with state of residence so that, people would be naturally accepted in the locality wherein they reside rather than promoting ethnicity and tribalism. Nigeria is not the only heterogeneous society. We can only but promote true brotherliness through openness by shunning nepotism and ethnic coloration as noticed most recently in our political landscape. I know we can! |
Another 5 minutes sensationalism to digress the public from the continued ineptitude displayed by the present FGN. We are tired of media trial, not even a single conviction. 3 good years in the life of an administration almost gone and nothing tangible to show for it. We need result, not media trial. BH are having their fare share in threatening the existence of some ethnic group in the north, the media are down playing factual report just for fear of unwarranted intimidation and harassment as noticed in recent times. Tyranny is gradually returning into our political space while a microscopic few who are benefiting from this evil government are spending millions from our common patrimony just to project this government - "blameless and saint". For some of us who have resolved to speak the truth, we shall continue to do so until the present Pharaoh (APC) set against the Israelite (Nigerians) see reasons to turn from their evil ways. Nigeria hasn't been polarized this way in the history of our National life and identity. I refused to be cowed by these evil leadership... |
How can SR be this "stewpid" for goodness sake. IBB is an old man. Pele of Brazil is now on a wheel-chair... |
Na wao! Just because of congratulating Uche Secondus. APC and intolerance is a carryover from their leader's religious bigotry... Am happy all the people that were very instrumental in enthroning the tyrant are paying dearly in one way or another even though some are living in denial, they will soon confess one by one: 1. Atiku - loss intels' contract with FG 2. Tinubu: loss TVC licence 3. Kwankwaso: He is gradually being locked out politically both at Federal or state level 4. Saraki: CCT 5. Dino: Yahaya assign to attack him 6. Obi Ekwesili: BBOG blocked 7. Amaechi: His days are numbered in APC good book 8. More intrigues come 2018 |
Wonder shall never end! Congrats, madam and as you clearly stated - you have obtained your saintship (APC) membership card. You can now seat next to your saint friend - Femi Gbajabiamila during south west APC caucus meeting and I wonder what the side conversation between you both will be like. Nigeria is a One-chance country right now until, APC vacate the center. |
"My People! My People!! Do not mind all what you read on the internet as posted by those I may continually refer to as noise makers. The new ministry which i have just created is part of the rescue mission as promised during my electioneering campaign from the onset. This to me is part of the promises fulfilled by my administration. And having created this wonderful Ministry of Happiness and Couples' Fulfillment, I think it would be expedient to create another Parastatal under the direct supervision of this new ministry. It shall be called "Institute of Fertility and Ejaculation" and will be directly coordinated by my humble self so that the couples' fulfillment aspect of the new ministry can be effectively served" Gov. Rochas Okorocha - Dec., 5 2017. |
Another sycophant spotted. It is always in their character to come up with a single word "mainstream'' to justify their stupidity. So, everybody must fall inline with APC because of joining so-called mainstream. Ignorantly, Kalu is helping Buhari to amplify his hate for the south east by saying that development can only be attracted to the east through only APC. Same person that derailed the fortunes of Abiaians during his 8 years misrule of that poor state. He brought his supposed protege from prison to continue his planned evil against ndi Abia. Thank God same protege he brought to finish Abia state did not only achieved his plans but also finished him politically. He is still trying very hard to resurrect ever since then. It is sad they believed every Nigerian is a fool. Same guy that campaigned against Buhari in favour of GEJ, the story changed immediately Buhari stepped into power because new sheriff has taken over the control of the cookie jar. He is now singing a different song. Anybody who chooses to believe these guys does so at his own peril. Evil man, spotted! |
