Omg... this is unfair bro.

No one should ever call another person ugly, let alone a ailing woman. She is someone’s mother and she sure has given us some wonderful moments.

I pray she finds good health and peace of mind soon.

LoL, you realise they don't really own all of those wristwatches? most times they're simply modelling for them and posting the pics online while cashing in on the reputation that they're so rich, most of these celebs live simple private lives and only put on these extravagance for show; that's why once they have terrible health issues you'll realise they're not as wealthy as you thought they were as they'll start soliciting for donations which would make the average fan ask "What about all these cars and wristwatches they always show to us?"
That’s quite enlightening. I think you are right. It’s all for the showbiz. Showing off is what makes them relevant. Thanks boss!

Are you kidding sir?

ATIKU?

Are you even suppose to mention his name sir? You mean recycle another old, former, the same, good for nothing folks who contributed to the downfall of Nigeria.

Please - we need to reorientate ourselves. The more we give these guys a chance - the more they destroy what’s left of this country’s goodness.

I will strongly advice against that - if we want a promising future for our kids.

There is nothing new Atiku can do. We need real technocrats not another politician.
Thanks

It must be said

Despite the shortcomings of this administration.

Buhari and Osinbajo are perhaps the most collegiate, peaceful, hardworking, and diplomatic partnership of all the ‘presidencies and dictators’ I have witnessed in my short existence.

Their peaceful and working partnership speaks volume about what Nigeria should be - if everyone could pocket their religious and tribal differences.

Nigeria's king of comedy, Ali Baba, has reacted to the photo of big and bold corper currently trending on internet.

The Veteran Comedian took to Instagram page to warned that some things should not be used as joke.

He wrote: "I have seen this picture online and ignored it. I received it from 6 different people. Amusing as many found it, I did a double take. Only God knows how much guts it took her to wear that and pose for the picture. But that doesn't matter. She is a graduate. That doesn't matter. She offered to serve Nigeria. That doesn't matter. She posed for the picture. That too doesn't matter. What matters to some is just the laughs. I'm a comedian, So we tease everyone. But sometimes we need to know how sensitive some issues are and skip skip skip... We all have our issues. May not be weight related issues. But we sure do have them. Come to think of it, this lady here may just be the sweetest friend to some people. She may be a chronic romantic to a high heavens. Strong Christian with the genuine fear of God. Can be trusted with secrets. Generous to a fault. Very lively. Awesome cook. Home maker. Talented singer. First class graduate... But she won't cut across like any of those things I just listed. The one that you will choose over her will be a size 10 slay queen. That has no degree. No respect. No home training. Kisses and tells. Has no friends. Can't be trusted. Knows all the babalawos in the outskirts of town. Husband snatched... yes, that slay queen will get 50,000 likes. But this One? Naaa. Don't get me wrong nooo... She needs to keep for so she can be healthier... But when you consider all the good qualities she may have, her weight counts less."

So much intelligence in this write-up!

If you wasn’t a comedian Ali!!! I’d say you’d be a good writer!

Not so much as the content... but the message... I do hope we can all look to the good in people; failing which we offer constructive criticisms. It’s not a good thing to body shame other human beings. It’s Ungodly.

Personally, the Nigerian syllabus is more robust than that of the UK, there is more universality being presented in the Nigerian syllabus. The best Computer Scientist are excellent Mathematicians, the major problem remains lack of quality laboratories and lecturers, if the listed issue is solve, i would rather ask my kid to go study in a University where he would gain knowledge across board than a specific one.
I disagree with you on that point Bro.

“You learn many things in practice than in classes”.

They waste less time on basics... cos they assume you will pick these things eventually. Best of all, you get to specialise quite early in your career.

This is opposed to the Jack of all trades - master kf none practised In Nigeria!
EducationRe: B.sc Computer Science Course Outline: Nigeria Vs UK University by Venerable612(m): 3:40pm On Jan 23, 2018
It’s very unfortunate.

I finished my Law degree in 2 years. You spend 5 years doing a law degree in Nigeria - on top of the strikes, almost 6 - 7 years.

And the Employer will still expect you to be 25 years or younger post-call!! Who is doing Who?

Funny thing - Nigerian degrees are worthless outside Nigeria for the self-same reason. That’s why many folks from Nigeria can only get minimum pay jobs over here - even with a Masters degree!!!

I am so weeping for the Nigerian education system. Despite all the talent and Human Resources we have got! What a shame. What a shame. What a shame!

Nigeria is a failed state.

Restructure it...

give Local Governments and States competences over Education, Power, Road, Health and other basic amenities.

Reserve only military power and foreign policy to the federal government...

Nigeria has a huge entertainment industry. If it could be properly harnessed, it can be a major source of revenue and tourism.

Nollywood has come of age really but the entertainment industry need an image. Something like an entertainment city to showcase the wide variety in our culture and lifestyle.

Show biz is a huge market. I wish the organising bodies can make a brand out of it. Too much individualism.

safarigirl:
they are wrong for such depiction

The earliest Europeans were Neanderthals who spent their time hitting each other over their heads with clubs, if we all begin to depict them like that, their descendants will get offended
Every society started crude. Problem was our ancestors didn’t leave much for us to boast about. But Europe’s civilisation is everywhere - they even colonised us.

I suppose that’s what sets us apart - and rightly so... we are not yet out of the woods. You can read books like “How Europe underdeveloped Africa” to get the gist.

They won, because we had such a bad inferiority complex. And again, that was the past... we can’t revel in the mistakes of our fathers. What we can do is re-define ourselves and stop seeing everything as an attempt at racism, ‘even if they are’.
