There is a lot to life than Academics and degrees.

Literacy should be the aim, which generally you should get after Sec/Ond/or if lucky a first degree.

It’s more important to teach our children to be street smart and know the art of building and exploiting relationships.

Trust me - they will be more successful than many PhD holders.

Very right that he had the option to join her in the gym, But you do really know not every guy has the kind of time to visit the gym with a gf? Some guys are just really genuinely busy 14hrs a day!

Laws are enacted for variety of purposes; two of which is to curb or encourage a state of affair.

If you curb abortion - it discourages people from doing it, for fear of being caught. They intuitively avoid getting pregnant since they know their only option for aborting is through a quack, which may result in death.


If you encourage abortion by enacting law - then intuitively people won’t mind having unsafe sex. They know they will be able to abort legally and safe anyway. Thus, higher abortion rates.... with the inevitable option that aborting females will still die anyway.

So curbing may well be the better of the two evils.

I think that rule was relaxed in the NT. disciples and even Christ went often to the Temple to pray at least 3 times a day. And on Sabbaths, He performed miracles.

Perhaps, churches have the freedom to worship on Saturdays - but the motive looks shady (which is where we agree). It’s more like they are advertising a product to make more profit. But who are we to judge? God alone sees the heart of man.
