I absolutely agree with you, still I prefer Brosnan's Bond.

You have to understand that's it's about personal preference now.

Whether Craig's Bond embodied the character Ian Fleming had in mind or not is not my business.

Simply put, I'm not interested in Bond's love life.

You also have to understand that it was in Craig's era they switched it up.

From Goldfinger (1964) right up until Die Another Day (2002), it was that same fantasy style, that same formula that was explored.
Don't get me wrong, Brosnan played a good Bond. He made the character relevant in the 90s, but ultimately his tenure was invalidated by the move towards gritty-realism. Compared side by side with Craig, Brosnan comes off as a circus side show. Anywho, I respect your choice.

Raalsalghul:
I'm referring to Daniel Craig's bond.

Personally, I never saw anything soap opera-ish about Brosnan's Bond.

Brosnan's Bond was just another Lothario: hit and run: that's it!

But Craig's Bond did truly fall in Love twice and the my Soap Opera statement stems from the fact that this was explored to a greater extent in some scenes.
Bruh, Brosnan's Bond films are more like fantasy than espionage drama.

Craig's Bond films are more grounded and depicted Bond as more of brawn than sauve British spy. The writers bought fully into Ian Fleming mythos of James Bond. Just like in the books, Bond loved Vesper, and even after avenging her death, never really got over her.

Daniel Craig's representation of Bond is what Bond ought to be.

Raalsalghul:
No Time To Die: 3/4 stars

Craig's run as bond did take itself too seriously, lacks the action that we've come to appreciate from Brosnan's era and sometimes plays out like a day time soap opera in scenes similar to that in George Lazenby's "On Her Majesty's Secret Service".
Are you sure you're not running it backwards? If recall correctly, Brosnan's Bond films are very soap opera-ish, while Craig's are pretty gritty in comparison, and all in all, a better representation of the Ian Fleming idea of Bond.

Poch is a NO....I know what I am saying.

We have the opportunity of seeing what is happening @ PSG....Before PSG maybe, not now.

There are Coaches that can handle smaller teams and do exceedingly well, and there are those who will play to win trophies. We are talking about challenging this Klopp's Liverpool, Guardiola's City and Tuchel's Chelsea.

Look at Moyes...was doing well @ Everton....flopped at United now see what he has been doing at West Ham.

Poch is a NO for me.
I don't want Poch either but if our board were to to hire him, it wouldn't be the worst thing.
SportsRe: Man United Board Decides On Solskjaer, Picks Replacement by VerifiedStalin:
fergie001:
Is United not a team of egos?

Poch is a good Coach but managing Spurs and United are way different. This is the problem Ole is also facing, how to axe players who feel they are bigger than the club.

You can't be everyone's friend and everyone can't play @ the same time. Good guys don't win games.
Not comparable to PSG.

Nah, Ole doesn't have any problem benching players who are underperforming. He has always been a top man manager. Team dynamics are good, what the team is lacking are tactics and philosophy. This is where Ole is lacking. Which is why the board will go all in for a world class manager in the summer.

This dailypost news shouldn't be posted on NL when it comes to Sports news.

Didn't see the link before commenting...they are very anti-Man Utd & anti-Ronaldo.

Ten Hag is my first choice. I don't want no Pochettino, PSG exposed him.
Judging Poch with PSG would be a mistake. PSG is team filled with egos, and not every manager is cut out to massage these egos. There is a lot going on in PSG's locker room that we're not privy to. Poch can still make a difference. Look at what he did at Spurs with limited budget. Get him back to the Prem, and we might see a version of Poch we saw at Spurs again. Having said that, my favorite is also Ten Hag, if he'd get United playing like Ajax, I'd be the happiest red devil in the world.

It better be fake.....though Pinocchio must leave.
It's 100% fake. I'm a subscriber to United subreddit account, and nothing of such has been broached. The real gist is OGS might be allowed to finish the season, then the board will zero in on Ten Hag or Pochettino. Rodgers and Zidane are also options, but Ten Hag is the favorite choice.

Why do your MODs push unverified news to the front page?
They have been doing this for ages. They push anything that would generate traffic to the FP. Integrity doesn't matter to them.

Saw the trailer a while back, first thing I thought was all the space agencies that look out for these sort of things can't see or deduce via scientific calculations that something of that size(potential extinction event) is about to impact earth... Remember, a huge asteroid wiped out the dinosaurs(at least that's what science thinks for now), I just think In verse(even though asteroid study isn't there yet), agencies with bigger budgets than those two(Lawrence and DiCaprio's characters) should know whatever it is there is to know already....
Didn't watch the trailer to the end though so maybe I'm missing something..
The movie is poking fun at people who are indifferent to the obvious. Think global warming.

One Shot (2021)

10 minutes into the film, I realized "One Shot" is not only the name of the film, but it's also the film’s camera gimmick. Basically, the whole film was shot in one continuous take, no cuts, just one continuous pan of the camera from one scene to another, a la '1917 (2019)'. The film is essentially twenty minutes of talk followed by seventy minutes of pretty much non-stop action held together by a fancy camera gimmick; it works because it's really mesmerizing, it kept me invested in the action scenes and the basic plot from beginning till end.

This line up is so gargantuan! but the plot seems generic. This will either bang very hard or fall very flat.
Nah, it's not gonna bomb. It has a killer cast and Leonardo fucking DiCaprio, but most importantly, it's a satire. Everyone loves a good satire, esp ones you can relate to.

The plot is not...not generic. Generic in the sense that it has an overflogged theme, not generic because unlike others of similar texture, it's a satire.

People that go to cinemas to spend thousands of naira on a 2 hours entertainment, in this current harsh economy, I want to ask, how do you do it? Don't you have mouths to feed? How do you make so much money that you'd be willing to throw it away without a moments thought and not feel the strain? Don't you think there are better and more frugal/practical ways to spend your money?
Believe it or not, some people are financially comfortable. They believe in spoiling themselves and going to the cinema is one of numerous ways they enjoy life.

To what end?
I wouldn't call it a simple story. Unless you call an accurate, albeit humorous parody of how people completely disregard terrible news, a simple story. I mean, look at the world right now; even after so many deaths from Covid-19, some idiots still think it's make believe.

anybody that criticize netnaija is an ingrate . They can as well make or build their own Movie site. To me, netnaija is doing well and should be appreciated.
Are you taking the piss?

Netnaija is a warezing website. Basically, the administrator of Netnaija is profiting off of pirated movies, music and TV series. Download from there if you must, but it's important to understand you're partaking in an illegal activity, therefore, ought to be wise enough to keep your mouth shut. Shooting your mouth off will not only put you at risk but could also torpedo Netnaija. Let's just die this unnecessary noise, please. Niggas need an avenue to download standard quality movies at low data size, don't jeopardize a good thing by calling unwarranted attention to it.

Myers dying first is debatable, the reason I feel Freddy will die first is due to his durability.
In terms of raw physically strength and durability, Jason is peerless, as in he's unkillable... not by conventional means anyway.

In terms of cunning and unconventional warfare, Freddy is unmatched. He doesn't need to combat you physically, he'd simply kill you in your dream, or prey on your emotions.

Myers is like Jason but more vulnerable.

If you lock the three in a room, Myers will be the likeliest to die first because unlike Jason, he's not a total blank slate. He's capable of getting emotional, which is a weakness Freddy could turn to his own advantage. He'd mess with Myers' head and kill Myers in the process.

Sometimes strength doesn't always matter in a fight, it's how smart/skilled you are.
The smarts and skills won't help Freddy against an undead psychopath like Jason Voorhees, he'd need to be physically stronger to beat him, and he's not.

Stop, just stop.

You made a series of critical blunders.

First, you claimed to have watched Eternals, which is not factual because Eternals won't be available to the world until 5th of November, or 3rd of November if you live in western Europe. Then, you claimed to have watched it in a cinema when queried, an outrageous lie, due to the fact that the film won't be available to cinemas across the world until November 5. Then you went further to claim that you lived in Canada and that it has been released there. And as if that is not enough, you're now claiming you're a Canadian Cinema administrator...

Bruh... shocked
