collins011:Now I don't know whether the story is true or it source but as far as I can recall or remember that Pastor Adeboye on the issue of 3rd term categorically said in an interview that OBJ avoid him when he OBJ knew his position in relation to the 3rd term agenda. For that reason alone I will say that the story may not be true because Pastor Adeboye that I know will not want to be a party to something like using his position for commercial benefits and by the way my church is not REEDEEM Church |
May be the man honestly fear some of our modern day women folk and consider them something to be approached at arms lenght or he is just full of choices and like to play around maybe until he is 40ish or he is just not ready to committ himself Or maybe he likes the idea of baby father wiith no string attached. To be married is beautiful and good for the human race but if you can't find or haven't yet find your soulmate then there is no need to get married for the sake of getting married and get stuck in loveless relationship. I honestly think on a more serious note that in any society a geniunely married person will see a lot of things in terms of the family which is suppossed to be the bedrock of society and being married will send the right signal to the country about being responsible for continuity and not encourage single or single family or single parent. (off course that excludes people who find themselves unfortunately in that position without their fault) Ultimately what matter though is the competence and the ability to perform in the office he occupies, maybe because there are no wife or wives he might even perform better. God will continue to support him and uphold him. God loves single as well as married person, we are all his children |
@nigeria 1 In a way I agree with you because zoning will not allow for merits to thrive but mediocrity and some people might not even bother to train and learn to acquire more skills to do a better job since they knew 'positions' will always be zoned to them to reflect the national character. Unfortunately and the way our political system is set up at the present anything short of Zoning even the position and power will be retained in a particular region. Remember whether you agree with it or not that the 'North' were not going to relinquish power to the South until the death of Abiola. And if we are going to be fair in educational terms, the north are not necessary more competent than the south but they kept putting one of their own in power time and time again. They even reportedly said that 'it was their fathers property'- alledgedly. Unfortunately they remove one incompetent person for another one in OBJ. So the political class are just interested in perpetuating themselves in power. And I dare say that they haven't got any clue that they can still 'chop' in a thriving Economy and good national development and planning. PLEASE TELL ME HOW YOU WILL BALANCE IN THE SHORT AND MEDIUM TERM THAT EVERY PART OF THE COUNTRY IS REPRESENTED. |
I read a guy on that vanguard Newspaper who was commneting on the report and all he can say as the solution to the probem is Hail Biafra. I have said it number without times that if the Igbo's have Biafra today it will not solve their perceived problem or so called marginalisation. We have a country called Nigeria and the only solution to the problem is to find a way to make it work. The world leading economy like and fear us at the same time. They like us because we are there dumping ground for their products and consumer goods and they fear us in that if we were to wake up one day and got our acts together we may become a threat in a number of ways to them. As a consequence they will like us to remain the way we are including press propaganda (that we are not good)- not that we are that good anyway but they rub it in and it can only depress the ordinary person on the street and our so called leaders cared less as long as they have fat swiss bank account. If the Igbo's want as they have already been doing use all of their own resources to ensure development in their region that is a better way of sending the right message to the country at large. The reason why we are at this position at this point in time is simply because our so call leaders are not leading anything, they are just chop chop. Until we do 3 things ( apart of finding ways to make every part of the country part of the country) 1. Energy /power solution immediate. 2. Transport network 3. Zonal businesess Areas for business and industrial development We should for once prove those negative melody singer wrong. Do we have what it takes and can we do it? only time will tell. Yes indeed Nigeria is a fragile state (as they have been generous not call us a failed state) and we are just been enjoying the Grace of God otherwise things will have fallen apart big time. As our brothers up north will say Allah e dey |
Sometimes the truth is bitter. If we have say 5,6,7 south western states and we all admitt that at least Ekiti state is the most educated from those state And you want us to believe that leadership just come from a particular state and a particular Town/City by accident. Only a fool we think like that. Shine your eyes, most of the Transporters, the Luxurious Buses from the East come from Anambra State and NNewi in particular. It is a cartel nothing less. Remember the Kaduna Mafia, they are reportedly come from Arewa college. I am convinced that these are no mere coincidence and it is a deliberate ploy even though I am a happy that the new speaker is a young man but the truth must be told. This is where the Zoining things work well otherwise we would simply have set of group of people in leadeship everytime and eventually the ' ethinic cleansing' (GOD Forbid) kind of thing is quite possible. We have seen it in RWANDA, Former YUGOSLAVIA.IRAQ and RUSSIAN federation. Others would feel marginalised and rightly so. We lawyers use the word let justice be done and to be seen to have been done. The facts as it stands, Succesive leadership for a particular zone comes from Egbaland and in facts ( a school call BBHS). That is pure greed. Please tell us whether or not there is nothing fishy. Like I said i think we let this pass this time but I hope the next choice of anything for the South West does not remotely connected with Ogun state, Egbas or BBHS otherwise then trouble will brew. |
This is what we call old boy network in the UK. The Elton old boy type. In fairness to the new speaker, Hon. BANKOLE, his Educational pedigree apart from BBHS connection is quite impressive even better than the President There are few observation though that I will like to make. 1. Who nominated him in the first place. Did the signal come from OTA barracks because He is from BBHS, an Egba Man from Ogun State when the seat is zoned to 'OSUN, EKITI,ONDO' etc. I say that because now he is the no 4 man in Nigeria and God forbid if anthing happens to Mr. President, VP and Senate President, he will become President of Nigeria and we are back to the EGBA's for Presidency. Unlikely for the scenario above to happen but it is not impossible. 2. What was his life experience at age 37 years old and has only been in the house just 4years, according to information he is not married. isn't that a serious factor in determining suitability of someone for a higher office for the Speaker of the House of Representative (at the National level). We understand that he is not an hairdresser but believe me a good barber is better in some certain circumstances when leadership is at stake. On the whole, being a young man we all hope that will kickstart the 'taking control' by the youth We hope the next person for whatever office will not come again fom Egba Land nor BBHS where the position is zoned for South West. It is begining to look as if it is deliberate and not just a mere coincidence. May God use the New Speaker to make progress for all Nigerians @CCARAMEL I hope only God fearing good lady apply and succeded in being Mr. Speaker's wife and not the hungry lion gold diggerr of woman ooh. IN Jesus Name we prayed , he will marry well. Amen. |
If that was the real reason she resigns from her position in Nigeria then that was very honourable of her. We do not know what is going on inside her mind whether she had to resigned not to bring focus on Nigeria if she remained the Finance Minister or as the Foreign Minister as she was then when she resign. Her resignation letter might give an indication whether it is for personal/family reasons or any other reasons. Only her and God will know the actual truth because people say something different when they actually mean another thing. The information(or rumours- depending on your preference) that I heared was that she felt that she has no expertise in foreign Affairs when she was moved and that her niche is Economics and finance. And for her to do go to Foreign ministry would mean she is not using her skill fully. (correct me if I am wrong, I thought it was the former Education Minister OBY ESKWESILI that went to the world Bank now)- I knew that Okonjo-Iweala was with the world Bank before her appointment. Anyway it also raises another issue with Women in position of Leadership (who are married) how do they provide for their family/husband needs. I say that because if you just leave the man on his own , assuming he can order Chinesse Take Aways for food or anybody can do his food on the wife behalf what about his 'Love' needs as in Sex and affection and vice versa in terms of the Minister woman on her own in Abuja or whereever. Hopefully that would have been accounted for as serving your country should not become a home breaking excercise. I prayed that God will heal the marriage and make the family stronger from this experience. ON behalf of Nigerians we thank the Iweala family for the service of Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala to Nigerians when she answered the call to serve her father land. We thank you and we are very grateful for your good service. |
That I chap in that photo looks like Amaechi, he could be him, his brother, relation, imposter or his lookalike or photo trick knowning our 'press' . They are full of jokes now. In any even let us assume it is the Governor for the purpose of this thread. I hope he will serve his people as required by the need of his people and in reverence to God. If he geniuely fear and submitt his government to God, he will grow in wisdom and understanding. Time will tell what that day he is crying means to the world but God already knew. We are waiting, may God help him and direct his mind to do the right thing. |
Just write to the Chairman and all the Councillors in your area. Failing that send a copy of the letter to the Governor of your State so that you will be on the record to have make complaint. However, on a more serious note you are not alone to have experience those problems so take heart hope that this present administartion will wake up and do something. If i am asked to honestly put my hand on my chest to vouch for them i doubt it, having said that God disposes, only human proposes. We need the Special Grace of God in anybody in political office to look after the people as required. |

Well if the world come to an End, we will all go to Heaven or hell depending on our score cards with our creator. So, I think we in Nigeria should rejoice that our suffering will come to an end and go to heaven to enjoy everlasting life unless your handiwork is not good. Our politicians have the next 5 years to change their ways or they are certainly going to eternal fire. The good thing is that we have another 5 years to prepare for the second coming of Christ if their predictions comes to pass. But my own Bible said ' the second coming of christ will be like a thief in the night without warning' so i doubt if they know what they are saying. I for one thought that GW Bush is going to bring the world to an end, thank God they are managing him and he will quit office next year so that is a good sign. Whenever God call us we should pray for him to meet us in the right places and with the right score cards. |
I hope that this is a mere coincidence as oppossed to a 'ethinc co-op'. On the choice of the New speaker i think he may be a good guy but I think the speaker seat should still have gone to OSUN or EKiTI, ONDO rather than OGun state again, or Lagos or Oyo. There are more competent people in other parts of the South West than Ogun state. However I am one person that do like competence over zoining/quota but since it is how the system is organised now I think that should be taking into the logical conclusion. On a positive note, the new speaker don't seems to have 'political experience' and young well educated and may just kickstart our agigation for young and new breed of politicians to take our country to a new level. I hope the Egba's will becareful not to abrogate things that is meant for the South West to themselves only because it may spark resentment against them. Long live Nigeria. |
My own small opinion, the answer to the question you posed is that in the short term and in the interest of national unity this formula will allow at least each zones or region to be representated in the Federation so that we can be at least have a representation of our own 'people' so that they can have feedback as to their interest. And also from the qualification and competence point of view, if some part of the country does not have the capable candidate and by not appointing someone from their Area will feel marginalised, so if there is no one is qualifed fromthe region/Zone then the nearest person will need to be appointed. IN the short and medium term until each state/region/zone has a qualified person we may have to rely on zoining and the benefits outweigh its disadvantages. On the long term basis I think everything should be done on merit basis but if you know that Nigerian are known to appoint their own people into position in the end without this quota/zoning system there will be chaos. So i don't think in the long term we are able to deal with ourselves fairly, and in that sense it may be that runing of the govt we have to keep the formula that we have now (as it appears to be fair) The only good side is in the private sector which anyone with know how and skills can excel and that is our saving grace so there will be no zoining. |
almondjoy:Leopard as they say never change its spot. LADY/MAN head of Choir carry on with your melody ![]() Coming back to the issue External reserve that we are talking about, I am sure is not just kept in savings. I have said it before it will have been spread into different investments including holding some in Golds as oopossed to the dollars once the forecast is that the Dollars is going to slide or on a freefall. The other most important reason why we don't just start spending the monies is our corruption level and if we started spending like there is no tommorrow then we risk undoing what God has help us to build over times and history (GOD forbid) may then repeat itself (as in post second Republic 1979-83 Shagari Administration leading to IMF and IBB SAP. My own take here as I have said time and time again that unless we can somehow find a magic formula to allow people to stop thinking about 'national cake' mentality and spend half of those reserves in conjuction with the private sector on 3 things 1. Energy - Electricity/refineries 2. Transport Networks- Road, Airports infrastuctures, railways, waterways 3. 6-8 Regional Business Zones ( like Milton Keynes Business Zone in the UK) True wealth creation is what will make us a great nation. without any of the above we have no chance of being anywhere near the 20 biggest economy by the year 20202 |
almondjoy: almondjoy:This MAN (Previously several WOMAN) always talk out out sequence and lack of basic facts. Most of the time just singing unprogressive melody. Facts can be surpressed in Nigeria, not in the International business and financial community for so many reasons least being regulatory reasons and market effects.(for concealment) We don't have 1 cedi in our foreign reserves but about $50 billion dollars. So ignore HER (or HIM depending on what takes your fancy) |
The sum is about $50 Billion dollars and not $50million dollars.(per davidylan) First and foremost foreign reserves is a savings and Investments of the country. The equivalent of a saving to an individual. Based on our current budget which is about $24Billion dollars, we would have money to spend for 2 years if we don't have any other income at all and simply relies on the reserves Thank God Oil is still selling for close/over $90 per barrel so we would still have a decent income for sometimes. And even better that Oil income is based on $53 per barrel so that should all price were to fell it wouldn't affect our economy because it has already been factored into it. Then we must also give OBJ, Finance ministers and Soludo the credits for having the discpline to have this reserve. Reserve is what we have left after paying our heavily burdened foreign debts. Coming to the benefits of the reserve, 1. It allow the international business community to have faith in us and credibility that we have monies to pay for whatever credit or trade we transact with them. 2.It allows us something to fall back in case of emergency 3. If we need to carry out major project like electricity we would have money to spend The downside as I see it (which i think may have cross the mind of the poster before posting this thread) 1. when we have enormous economic challenge like electricity and transport network problem why do we keep money which could have been used for national development? 2. (although this foreign reserves I believe is held in investement form) why can't we use it for creating further wealth producing industries and businesses. On a final analysis it is a balancing excercise and the people who are in charge at present are able to make a better informed decision in any event. I am particular about 2 major sector power/energy (electricity and refinaries) and Transport network. Once those two sectors are in place everything else would move on highspeed. Security and regulatory measures will be needed to solidify the entire economy. |
@ Poster To be quite frank, you seems confused. Relationship is about finding one's long term partner and if you know yourselve and whatever you are looking for you don't need to engage in dumping and dusting as if it is a game of numbers or of who can dump the most men or women for that matter. If you dump anyone, they may not have seen your good quality before you dump them and all of a sudden they realised what they are letting go so they may then want you badly or in the alternative they may want to get back at you and pay you back in your own coin by dumping you when you are beginining to enjoy it and least expect it. On an small final analysis you should focus more on finding a meaningful and long lasting relationship than superficial and lustful relationship because as a woman you will run out of time sooner than a man will and what men maybe chasing in you now may no longer be there. For your information, men appreciate a decent woman who knows herself and where she is going and not into games. Your man will eventual worship you because he will see intergrity written all over you and your beauty will even shine more. FIND ANOTHER BUSSINESS OTHER THAN DUMPING AND JUMPING FROM AND TO DIFFRENT MEN. THE DANGERS OUTWEIGH THE BENEFITS. MAY GOD BE WITH YOU AND UPHOLD YOU. |
Both of you must accept that you are going to be fooling around and wasting your both valuable time especially the 37yrs old lady. 25 years old guy and a 37 years old lady, it is not impossible for a long term relationship but very difficult. I guess the line between lust and love is very thin. If you must go there think about how you are going to disengage. In nutshell it is not a good idea but if you let the lady know that bit before, so you would have prepare her for the softlanding that will inevitably follows so she is not kind of heavily hearthbroken when the end comes. And also yourselves would know that there is no future here and don't run and puff. you may get a good valuable experience though. I am more concern about the lady because she is getting well pass her prime (marriage wise). well maybe if you are good looking you my be her baby father or donor. Good luck young man, but if it were to be possible to look somewhere else that is what I would advise you to do. |
Of course something even powerful than Magun exist in Iboland. They are even worse with those voodoo and juju thing. Let me say it once more, if your friend want to find out the truth he has to pray and fast a lot with an open mind all the truth in the matter will be revealed. It may even be natural death, it maybe death caused by the deceased himself. One should not pray about a particular individual, it may be a complete 3rd party here. Like I said before there are too many permutations that only God can reveal the truth. All the herbalist and Babalawo's and even some pastors and imam cannot tell you the truth for different reasons. But if you pray fervantly, it might take 1day, 1 month, 1 year, you will get an answer. The truth will be reveal, you might even get a confession! But the death and the events surrounding it make the whole thing feel suspicious but truth and facts are the only thing that matters not suspicion. Good luck. |
First and foremost there is nothing wrong with our flag and anybody who want's to sew it into attires or use it for their car can do so with creativity. With due respect to the Poster, we have enough challenges as it is now than worry about flag colour or make up. We have just kick out our hairdresser/beautician Speaker of the House of Comedians(oops I mean House of Assembly) she could have done a good job for us in redesigning and hairdressing and beautifying the proposed new flag and it will only costs us N862 million not N628 because it is bigger job than renovating 2 properties ![]() Old boy go get a job or start something! If we change it to America flag type today with permission will that give us good roads, electricity or put food on our table. For anyone who is looking for how to spend their time I prayed that the God of creativity will give them something to do. |
@childchris, the fact that UBA -, Andy or Chris maybe UBASANJO but that does not make me to think someone from their state is not good, quite the contrary. Do you think I am defending Madam Etteh or just speaking the truth. The problem I'll say it again is nothing to do with Etteh but the way politics is played in Nigeria. Madam Etteh problem is that she failed 'to share the cake' as it is customary. let me tell you if the people who are supposed to be 'settled' are indeed settled then this will not have been in the public domain. Unllike the Igbo basher in the house I am proud of my heritage and whatever is good I wll like to continue with it, whatever is not too good I will like to change it and improve it . And I am also a proud Nigerian. The question is are you proud to be Igbo and a Nigerian or is it Biafara first and Nigeria second? you have to make a choice truthfully and honestly and not have ultrior motives. Long live Nigeria. May God bless all Nigerians. |
@ poster I am sure your husband has no excuse in my opinion. He is already cheating on you, and should at least respect you. What kind of excuse is that, imagine it is the reverse, the whole world will hear about it. I think you should sit him down and find out whether there is anything that you can do to make that aspect of relationship much better and not in need of 'spoilt' (as the Bible refer to it) It is infidelity as simple as that and no excuse, he should be talking to you or how to enjoy each other better not thinking what 'if' nonesense, that he needs to protect himself, from sex attacker or what? You really need to talk and sort it out before you become a victim of broken home. That will never be your portion in Jesus Name. |
There are some people on this thread who are women and pretend as if they are men, and have been banned on several occassions due to their inflammatory remarks and incitement later to re-appear as a man. Nonetheless leopard never change its spot. Woman or Men cloned never make any difference. As much that individual may have 'his' or her point near to correct on this issue it nonetheless treat the issue superficially. let me say that under no circumstances do any man or woman has a right to Kill any other fellow irrespective of the frustration or treatment or circumstances. Many 'Americanised' Nigerian ( i used that word, rather than the usual African American to distinguished between the two) women actually are not looking for equality rather than they want to boss and run their man like housemaid. Whilst I do not condone or accept what some Nigerian men do to their wives in Nigeria, the women in the West are even worst. i have live in the West now for about 20 years so I have seen alot. UK and the US have a particular incentive for women to become 'abused' and single parents. If for once we all pretend that you cannot divorce and have to have a meaningful dialogue and work in your relationship as oppossed to 'modern girl' our women play in the West just because they get carried away then things will be mighty different. One thing I know for sure there are more dark days waiting for anyone who abused her husband or his wife. Then such person will remember all their waywardness but it will be too late. In the meantime we should all continue to pray for unity and happiness in homes and marriages. |
I personally think that the Supreme Court erred in law. But they have reached their decision unanimously ( i think) and that is the end of it because they cannot overrule themselves unless the matter is reconsider in the House to amnend whatever the Law the supreme court is interpreting. I think the is for the candidate otherwise we could have been asked to vote for the party who will then nominate whoever they wanted like the parliamentry system where the party choose their leaders as in the Prime Minister and Leaders of the Opposition but because we operate the Presidential system it is for the candidate. Imagine PDP nominating somebody from OYO state to be governor in RIVERS state would the people not vote for opposition candidate who is from River State ? so it is not just the party but the candidate The supreme court should have asked for re-run of the Election of River State Governor with AMechi as the PDP candidate. My only opposing thought is that PDP may rig the election in favour of any other party candidates ! who knows, anything is possible. So the Supreme court may be playing 'god' here. fearing YAR A'DULL and his uncle OBJ power. We shall await their reasoning on the 18th January 2008 by which time we would have clearity. |
I am going to be sarcastic here. I accept that these things are being zoned and even though the baton should go to the most competent person at the same time. However, I am begining to get concern that things seems to going the way of OGUN state people. As in the Past Presidency, OBJ X2, ABIOLA, MAJEKODUNMI, SHONEKAN and AWOLOWO. Maybe they are more competent or politically shrewed or we the rest are more stupid. As in the case of the North going to KATSINA state. BHUARI and YAR A'DULL. I hope that these are just coincidence and not sign of marginalization. I will at least expect the people of Ekiti or Ondo State to be considered.(since the woman from Osun state has messed up)- by the way I am from Osun State and clearly not too happy with Madam Etteh for not knowing how to conduct 'business' in the House and not using the mandate given to her to promote women interest, what a shame. I will think both Lagos and Oyo state are propably right not going in their because he/she would have been controlled either by Adedibu or Tinubu. this Bu Bu people are usually Bullies anyway. I will continue to say though that the issue is not ETTEH, it is far bigger than her. It is the way that our politics is conducted that needed to change. Now that ETTEH is gone let us hope that we can achieve progress. By the way, has Madam Etteh and the deputy speaker resign from the House as a member or have they just resign from office as speaker and deputy speaker. It will be interesting to see what they will be like backbenchers from the front bench. GOD HELP US IN JESUS NAME. AMEN |
Phiniter, Let me tell you now, your friend need to find a very honest minister of God to confide in. I hate to say this but this is the exact reason why married woman adultery is very dangerous. When they are in LUST they can get rid as in kill anyone, their husband, beloved mother or children. It is like a spirit come upon them to conceal their ways and continue their illicit affairs. Also for any man to chase and pregnant a married woman, he must be after something especially if the womans husband is rich. There are many permutation and variances. the irony of it all is that what goes around comes around. One of them will seriously pay for it if not both of them. It may be one or both of them that contribute to the killing of your friend's dad. They may do this thinking it will be difficult when the pregnancy comes out and all the other stuffs. This set up, take it from me is full of dangers. That is why I always pray that the satan that attack EVE at the garden of Eden may not attck any of our woman. As you know the result is eternal curse. There is more to the story than meet the eyes and believe me the woman will lie through her teeth. Your friend's father if he has not been very sick or terminally ill have died from poison or voodoo (like the Yoruba one called Magun) PRAYERS, PRAYERS, PRAYERS AND FASTING FOR THE LORD TO BRING INTO THE OPEN ALL THE THINGS THAT IS BEEN HIDDEN AND SO SHALL IT BE IN JESUS NAME. |
Who pregnated your friend's mother. Is it his deceased father or was it another man, and if I am correct the Man died and before his burial the wife got pregnant. hummn Doesn't she sound like a 'cheater' and her ways may have killed the poor man if she is not directly involved in his death. Is the husband terminally ill or did she kill her. What was their relationship when the man was alive? There are so many questions. If the woamn got pregnant before the demise of the father for another man, that is exactly what killed the man? propably from Rat poison or Magun for the new man to move in! Who say that the world we live in is fair The woman needs deliverance and help. But depending on how old she is. The present generation of woman in their mid forties to fifties, I hate to disappoint you are learning towards promiscuity. I can assure you a lot of people will say that is not true, but I can tell you that they are trying to compete with Men in terms of promiscuity but forgeting that Men situation is slightly different but not necessary good and should not be encouraged. In essence two wrongs does not make a right. I have hear it time and time again that a lot of woman has no shame but and they will justify one wy or the other. Well it is their lives and the legacy they are leaving behind for their daughters so this generation I am afraid unless they know the Lord will even be worse. Deliverance from the spirit of non contentment is the answer to your friend's mum situation. she will soon be fed up with the new guy and give him another Rat poision. May God help him, and his mum and you the 'concerned friend', Good luck By the way how is your mum, have you being able to speak with her? Anyway all the best. |
If he President YAR A'DULL fix our health services and they are up to standard he would not need to go to GERMANY every 6 months. And I am going to say something that is unconventional in NIgeria. President YAR ASLEEP is not fit to hold the office of the Presidency because of his health and if he thinks I am wrong he should tell the country what is wrong with him that requires at least trips abroad at least twice a year. he looks like somebody suffering from kidney problem? I hate to say. Maybe even ATIKU and BHUARI lawyers can argue that point at the Election tribunal if the Nigerian law allows that because in other part of the world serious health problem in office is part of the reason you are unfit to govern. |
@ 9ja4eva. Amazingly enough I was trying to find where to begin on this issue then I read 9ja4eva signature ' Only when we are no longer afraid do we begin to live' That is the crux of the matter. we hardly try to know each others culture and that is why it is difficult for inter-tribal marriage. language barriers, With the greatest of respect is more pronounced in the East especially if you are given or to take or expected to become Igwe 1 of Agamba or whatever 1 title you decide to choose. Understanding with couples and explain position to parents. And community should rejoice for whichever we marry from. The most challenge is when mariage is in difficulty, blame will start to fly around to say if you had marry your own you will have been better. let me tell you it is a lie from the pit of hell. Religion and after passing away of either party is another challenging period. But if both party see themselves as friends then it will be well. If anybody want to marry any other tribe should try to spend some period at least 6 month or a year to understand other tribes if they can be patient, it will be a time well spent. when both parties are geniuenly in love they can carry family and community along and the couple can even open line of understanding among the 2 communities. If I have my way and I am the president of Nigeria I will encourage inter-tribal marriage. inter-tribal visit, religion visits and hosting. let us get to know others, our culture, foods, language etc. If and is a big 'if' and God forbid bad thing and I actually reject it in Jesus Christ name - that I choose to be a polygamist, I will marry from mosts tribe and show what one can do together as oppossed to being divided for some silly Tribal cause. I do not propose nor encourage anyone to do so either. There are more damages to human life from polygamy. So children of God beware. |
Happy birthday, may you be bless abundantly, you will never lack good things, the Lord will strenghten you. May theLord grant you long live and prosperity. |
