PoliticsRe: Yaradua Flown Abroad For Medical Checkup by vigasimple(m): 7:18pm On Oct 30, 2007
Have you hear the news?

His new name is President YAR ASLEEP.  ( I will actually prefer to call him YAR A'DULL

Are you ever suprised?, the guy was flown to Germany in the middle of the Election in April, that was 6 months ago. Now it appear that he is suffering from Bi- Annual flu and it can only be treated in Germany.

I think Nigerians deserves to know the true state of President YAR ASLEEP health.

The health situation (even though I am not a doctor) is not minor, if it is not major, it is at least medium.

Notwithstanding he is still our President, we prayed for his quick recovery so that he can come and recover our health services.

May God continue to bless Nigeria and make her victorious in the middle of her enemy. As mountain suround Jerusalem so shall our help comes from the Lord.
PoliticsRe: Energy Crisis: Yar Adua On The Run To Germany by vigasimple(m): 7:09pm On Oct 30, 2007
From today we name the man YAR ASLEEP.

Think about it OBj is at least barking and bullying ( though that was during his second term).

I suspected that YAR ASLEEP is still trying to consolidate his goverment and cannot be too sure of this election tribunal and the supreme court thess days.

If they can take goverment straight and give it to AMECHI from OMEHIA in River state I don't put it pass them to take it and give it staright to ATIKU by saying that he was the former VP that PDP didn't allow to contest or give it to BHUARI and say that it was madate for Katsina State and since Bhuari is the only other candidate contesting the Presidency from katsina state he is now the President. And shikena, that would be it.

Dont forget that once the supreme court rules, no more appeal, at least even the Sharia laws people knows that you can't go to Saudi Arabia or OIC for redress.

I, like other well meaning Nigerian's cannot be, but very suprised that this look like business as usual. I think maybe YAR ASLEEP will spend the 1st year or first term sharing position and monies, second term to fix Lagos -Ibadan express way and also looking for third term to sort out the Health services so that people after him we have no need to go to GERMANY for medical check up.

Allah e dey President YAR ASLLEEP
TravelRe: Horrific Crash Involving Petrol Tanker On Lagos-Ibadan Road by vigasimple(m): 2:01pm On Oct 30, 2007
Just this morning while I was trying to get up from bed it occurs to me that Lagos - ibadan express road has been buiilt well over 30 years.

But, most importantly, we all agree that Lagos is the main economic zone of Nigeria and to have one main road access to the place is a joke.

At least 2- 3 major roads, now that all the churches are now on the road shows lack of infrastructures. If there are roads everywhere there will be no need to set up on that main road.

The trafiic is now more than 3 times of what is planned. Where there are alternatives roads which we should have if we need to repair or close it down.

From security/defence point of view, has it occur to anybody that if that road is attack our economy will take a hit.

Even countries with many alternative roads do take time to repair and renew the facilities.

We have always say it at all times that Nigerian need a maintanance culture otherwise we are not going anywhere. Such soundbite like 2020 vision to me are just soundbite
PoliticsRe: Energy Crisis: Yar Adua On The Run To Germany by vigasimple(m): 1:30pm On Oct 30, 2007
I keep saying to people that there are some things these politicians aren't telling us.

Yar Adua in my opinion may not be too different from OBJ when it comes to ELECTRICITY.

This sector alone shows that we don't have any meaningful political party opposition. Because OBJ and the PDP spent 8 years and they cannot fix electricity, they should not be contesting election let alone be in a position to win it. PDP  NO POWER shame on them.

Unfortunately, If I were to vote I will have no other party to vote for.

YAR ADUA in my own opinion has no clear agenda ( forget this 7 point manifesto agenda- it is only campaign stuff.

Our hospital are in such a state that YAR ADUA when he catch cold or cough flies to Germany.

If it is the UK or the US for example ( it will be a question in the House of Parliament or Congress), and I think Nigerians deserves to know as to who pays that hospital bill and the travelling costs. I hope it will not be NIGERIA in the end. ( becasue even if yar adua pays it from his own account , the politicians have a way of getting things back through allowances paid by the state)

ENERGY ,  TRANSPORT NETWORKS (especially roads) and HEALTH SYSTEM are just emergencies, nothing more nothing less.

YAR ADUA in my opinion is begining to sound like 'ify' character and we should have known better when he went to GERMANY during election for medical check up just before the elections about 6 months ago.

During that campaigns he promised to declare state of Emergency on Energy, 6 months later, no Emergency. BY THE WAY THAT is 1/8th of his first TERM gone.  Can anybody tell me anything to show for it.

YAR SLOW may not be bad for his nickname afterall !

Almighty GOD please take control for us and help us from these politicians.

Does she have to ask for our opinion on whther she is right or wrong before u can counsel her out of her confusion?

Your comment is simplistic and reminds me of the madman from one Igbo village who said to a crowd gathered nearby "I know what I am doing, its what is doing me that I can't understand" If you are not Igbo, ask any Igbo friend to interprete this statement literallily for u,in Igbo language.Does the fact that the madman says he knows what he is doing confirm that it is so? Of course, the answer is capital NO!! So u can extrapolate this e.g to the case on ground.

RomanceRe: Why Do We Have To Marry? by vigasimple(m): 12:50am On Oct 30, 2007
To be quite frank with you guys/girls you have said so much and most are true

If there were Marriage schools we would all do better in relationships.

Nobody drives a car without going to driving school nor a lecturer without studying. The truth is that we look at marriage just from the feeling to be together point of view but there are more than meet the eyes. It is a serious business and if we choose to be each other friends there will be less problem, but we are all selfish.

In answer to the question we have to get married because God said so. Whether or not children comes those are the icing on the cake.

If we couples learn not to be selfish and becomes each other friends let me assure you that there will be more succesful marriages today. And also if we stop those feminine nonesense and look at each other roles. Women are suppose to be helpmeet.

The history of modern women working and having a separate income etc only started last century because of shortage of manpower after the graet recession.

The bible is very clear woman submitt to your husband as he is the head of the Home as Christ is the head of the church, and the bible further said Husbands love your wife (unconditionally)- whether pretty, slimm, fat ugly etc or not

We have to marry to have companionship forsaking all others. we are not animals that don't have one partner. Two is always better thans one.

May God help all the singles and you will have no fear because God will give you your own DNA and that is it.

I hope and prayed that there is a mix up or your girlfriend just want you to get her out of Nigeria quickly because if that is true the Man ain't no man in the first instance and your sister's marriage is build on a sand.

If you are able to go to nigeria and speak to your mum and set this up nicely for the man to be caught up.

It may be possible if they refer him for deliverance that may save your sisters marriage otherwise if it is true, then the man has no shame and cannot even find somewhere outside to go to and only your own girlfriend, let me assure you we have a story on this nairaland before like that it will be your younger sister after your girlfriend. Men like that are sick if it is true.

I on behalf of your sister and her family prayed and hope that it is false and that your girlfriend is just missing you and playing a stunt on you. (some women are know and capable of doing that regardless of what anybody we say to the contrary)

And I prayed with you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that your sister's home will be restored speedily and every spirit of lying, courvetous, adultery, fornication and untrustworthy will be consumed my holy ghost fire in Jesus name we have all prayed and agreed together.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria To Help America Find Osama Bin Laden! by vigasimple(m): 8:03pm On Oct 29, 2007
@ kobojunkie

If you don't understand what I mean by American wastefulness then I am sorry whether you are actually part of the world which lived in.

Let us explain that there are 2 wars and may God never let us have the 3rd one because America may just have a pleasnant suprise in IRAN. IRAN is not IRAQ and America will have more than a bloody nose if they try IRAN. The Iranian people are shitte proper who are prepared for suicide unlike some of the people in the west and in Africa who I must say are afraid to die.

Of course some of the suicide bombers are brainwashed to fight a cause which we can debate till eternity whether is a good or bad cause. But believe me that is the only effective thing that makes country like America thinks when they want to bully all the other countries.

As a matter of facts all the neutral and objective commentators in and out of washington agrees that the 2 iraq wars is aimed primarily on protection of supply of oil for America.

They started by the dubious weapons of mass destructions (which was the basis of which they obtained UN Resolution to sanction but not to go to war), years later when when they could not even find anything remotely close to WMD they said it was regime change they are after. First and foremost that war is criminal by any standard, two wrongs do not make a right.

After regime change what do we have chaos. America was doing all these because the war is not being fought in America to destroy their own infrastrutures and economy.

Getting back to your question about how the war money is a wastful spending?

We have wars that are simply genocide and famine killing literary thousands of people all over the world and what did America do?

You want to argue that it is not America problem or concern. We are talking about humans to humans.

If you spend $200-300 Billion dollars on a phoney war and you establish chaos then by any standard that is a wastful spending. Only a mad man will say that IRAQ is not now worse off than before the America Invasion. It is so simple that when people live comfortable in the West they suddenly forgot that they could have being at the recieving end themselves or indeed any of their families.

What is not good has no other name. it is simply not good and a waste of the highest order.

I hope you now have some clarity in respect of your question as to why I think the war and the amount spend on it is a wasteful spending.

There are major health problems etc all over the world, where is America?
PoliticsRe: Nigeria To Help America Find Osama Bin Laden! by vigasimple(m): 12:31am On Oct 29, 2007
I hear say that BIN LADEN dey somewhere very dark inside Pakistan but then need light to get there so let us sort out NEPA/PHCN first and all our appalling transport/road network system before findin anybody. We have ND to sort out

With the greatest of respect Nigerians have her own fair share of her challenges and even if we know where Bin Laden is why should we help a very dubious/hypocritical and wasteful countries like America.

To put their wastfulness into perspectives. The amount they have wasted on the unwinnable war in IRAQ is more than all the African budget put together twice over. more like over
$200 billion dollars. Nigeria budget is about $24billion dollars

In the word of Nelson Mandela America under GW Bush is a war mongering nation and they have murder sleep, how can they sleep.

If they give africa half of those monies they have spent on those wars, we don't need no voodoo, Babalawo, ogbanje's etc on even pastors, BIN LADEN would come out and surrender.

In a very unintentional way, Bin Laden is challenging the Bully call America and fighting the oppression and bullying of the world community by America. In most cases America don't obey UN resolutions when it suits them.

I am afraid the poster may intends for us to laugh about 'all the powerfull men' in Nigeria but it is not funny at all, they should first use those powers to sort out our basic challenges.

Nigeria should find the 'osama bin laden' plaguing us and let America waste her money and her own people on a very dubious cause called OIL.

May God help us in Nigeria to find a lasting solutions to our own challenges. Amen
PoliticsRe: Who Is The Best Person To Rule Nigeria? by vigasimple(m): 4:48pm On Oct 28, 2007
A dozen DONALD DUKE because the anti-good has entrenched themselves so well up to their children, grandchildren, great grand children and all the extended families that 6 'Donald Duke' is not enough to take their platform and foundation apart. Those platform need to be dismantled otherwise we are no going anywhere.

In all honesty I think the way our system is set up now, even if the POPE becomes the President of Nigeria, he wouldn't be allow to run the country properly both by the established political class and long throat political followers. (The Amala politicians etc)

Something came to my mind that if YAR ADUA was able to find way to build a good Energy system and good transport network, that may be the begining of a gradual power shifts in the right directions.

It will be like the privatisation of majority of government companies. Govt has no business in business, all they are required to provide is the infrastructures and enabling enviroment and they should promote our image abroad  and defend our boarders.

I for one without being tribalistic or racist think that the North ought to let the south do the ruling for sometime. Unfortunately the South East(all of Nigerians feels they still habours this seccession and extension of their terreritoy -as in the case of Rivers (The Ikhweres) who are the dominating people in Rivers), so for the immediate period I think the South South as in Ijaws of Cross Rivers may do nicely, all the other Ijaws are very questinable- the deltans and the Bayelsan, their track records give one food for thought- maybe Goodluk (luckyman) Jonathan. He appears to be cool headed and don't get carried away with all the stolen monies like the rest of the governors.

A  DOZEN DONALD DUKE AND MAYBE GOODLUCK JONATHAN would do nicely to lead Nigeria

May God continue to bless me and our country Nigeria.

@ SEUN

If there are no issues with infidelity we will all become  lesser Animals like (HE) GOAT and father will sleep with daughter, mother with son, friends with their friends wife. everybody will queue to sleep with each other etc It is licence for chaos and anarchy. God is God of order. imagine if we can posts whatver we like on this site without you having to edit it. some people will say offensive things and there will be war. so infidelity rules/law is a very good thing by God. He knew how the world will react  without those restrictions. You will not have what you can call your own.

@ POSTER

Whoever start to ask a married person for affairs is more guilty. If the other person don't know they are married then they are not guilty. If both parties are married then they are equally both guilty.

In any event whoever is guilty or not guilty, Adultery is not good for many many reasons

Polygamy means putting all the women under one roof. Yours is 'everywheregamy' and just one of the people who are making the world we live in to be whacky.

I suspect that your previous experience may have been a mistake and I hope you can just stop it.

In my personal opinion children are always better brought up with two parents in a mongamous relationship, they will be able to see love as it should be practiced.

POLYGAMUS IS NOT GOOD AND WILL NEVER BE GOOD. (One exception, it allows everywoman to get the best out their own children as oppossed to being spoilt rotten)

There are several reasons why people get into a polygamus relationship but we should avoid it like a plague.

Why all the fighting in the House, because Anti-ETTEH knows that if they put her impeachments to vote they will loose.

Whichever way it ended, the next person if ETTEH goes, I am more than certain with the way our system is set up will be even be worse than ETTEH.

ETTEH failure is that she is not smart enough on 'cake sharing' . All the politicians are just the reflections of the ordianry NIgerians.

We as the followers are just as bad, if not worse and they are just representing what the people want secretly but when we don't get our 'share' we become critics.

Good Nigerians want a good govenance, but are we prepared for the sacrifice? That is the
N1 Billion NAIRA question. NIGERIA LIKE HIS BIG BROTHER AMERICA- IT IS MONEY TALK POLITICS (whether or not you like or believe it).

ETTEH OR NO ETTEH, WE NEED TO CHANGE THE COUNTRY ORIENTATION ESPECIALLY AMONG THE YOUTH. MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS NIGERIA.
PoliticsRe: Criticise Yar'adua Here by vigasimple(m): 11:49pm On Oct 27, 2007
First and foremost, The judiciary was freed by OBJ. He didn't try to stiffle them like all the people before him.

He may not obey some of the decision or on time but he allow them to rule even when it is against him. Rememebr all those proceddings by ATIKU etc.

Also OBJ should be given credit for 'selecting' YAR ADUA because he is by far the better of all the other candidates including Bhuari, Atiku and all the Governors. He is a safe pair of hands in most peoples opinion and less corrupt. So OBJ definitely have good intentuions for Nigerians, even if you think he is trying to cover his back. He could have as well 'select' either IBORI or ODILLI  and still cover his back.

Whether or not he prosecute OBJ, IBB etc is another matter for reasons that may only be well know to him.

The other problem is that it is the PDP that put Yar Adua in office and I am afraid  he is unlikely to prosecute all the Governors that ' gave way' for him. IBORI , ODILLI etc

I for one don't think that Yar ADua has the 'toughness' required to govern Nigerians.

However, if he is able to appoint people who can do that for him because of his health and the type of person he is (his personality and demeanour) and just apply intellectual approach to the challenges then he stand a chance.

But seeing from his appointments and pronoucements so far I think he is many miles away from making any serious impact. (Maybe he needed OBJ- as if you will remember OBJ single handely campaign for him on campaign rounds and 'annointing him' among his fellow governors)

I hope he can sleep one night and God to visit him and explain how to run the country properly.

As far as I am concern, it is all soundbite- where is the War (state of emergency) on Energy/Power and all the other 7 progamm agenda.

I will pray for new things and beginings because it appears that it is just business as usual. Remember OBJ promised Electricity in 1999 and 8 years later, it  even got worse. NIGERIANS WE NEED SERIOUSE PRAYERS FOR GOD TO TAKE CONTROL AND BY HIS SPECIAL GRACE HE WILL TAKE CONTROL OF MINDS OF OUR LEADERS TO START TO RUN THE COUNTRY PROPERLY.

It may be that we can start learning in bulding by assemblying as we now do in cars etc and take it from there.

For me, there are basic things that need addressing first before we start 'buiding' helicopters as I will like us to build a basic car first and all other basic things.

I still continue to say it we have failed government who has not been able to tap into our multitude of human resources.

Poster prove me wrong!

I think she just doesn't want you to find out otherwise the relationship may not start at all.

I will also say that she propably do not have a good mother who will have sit both of you down and and try to explain to you right at the begining instead of allowing playing hide and seek.

I think the girl knew that not many naija man will marry a girl with a child somewhere else.

This is one of the deception that goes with relationship sometimes.

In some part of Nigeria, they refer to marriage as 'black market' until daylight comes you don't know what you have choosen. Sometimes marriage/relationship is luck.

But if you are christian, and prayed fervently, God will direct your steps.

It is not the end of the world, speak to your Pastor if you are a christian, this is the place of counselling that would have unearthed something like this.

The Lord will see you through, if you really love her, maybe you want to sit her down for her to bring the rest of the skeleton in the cupboard so that there will be no more surprises.
FamilyRe: If A Phd Holder Falls In Love With Stark Illiterate, Will It Work? by vigasimple(m): 12:24am On Oct 26, 2007
I think it may be very very very difficult.

I suspect that because your friend 'is overdue for marriage' may be a big issue here.

You see, communication is very important, there are friends of both parties. one very educated and the other stark iliterate.

Can the woman become a market woman, stop speaking English, change all her friends. wear rapper all the time, cook 3 meals a day, get palm wine for the husband or good bottle of gunniness or gulder after meal?

We are talking about lifetime choices! mba mba, even the man will think the woman is playing some joke on him and think she is after something like make voodoo out of him. Is like a poor boy being chased by a rich woman/sugar mummy. There will be complex all the time by each party on little immaterial things. the man will take  years to add 2+2 together in certain circumstances.

What about the woman parents? would they be happy with their son-in-law.

If it were to be possible to get the gentleman to go to adult education etc, it is just maybe.

I think, at best the man will just be a sperm donor, it will be very difficult for this two as they will not be at the same wavelenght at all. Music, movie etc

You don't just marry because something struck, there has to be a lot of things in common for the difficult days.

If I may say without disrespect to your friend, our women are two way proud that they see their education, money, position and powers well above an happy relationship/marriage/home. As a result they don't see relationship as priority at the appopriate times, they are either still in town or busy studying for Professorship. Why don't get married and get your PHD in your Husband house like my sister did.

To me a happy home/relationship is worth more than everything because as the bible said, he that find a good wife, find favours in the eyes of the Lord and by implication he who finds a good husband equally find favours in the eyes of the Lord.

I will end of with a small proverb.  ' A man who is from a town without railway station who enters a train from lagos has another journey to make, he will have to stop at the nearest station and take a bus'

With your friend, I will, unusally and uncharacteristic suggest for her to go out and advertise herself in a nice way to some educated fellows and just don't even mention all those degrees and let her hair down without being too intelligent and academic

You friend will need a special grace of the Almighty to make that relationship works. It is not impossible but highly impoprable.

I wish her all the best and may the Grace of the almighty God provide for her.

Whether or not Bhuari and Atiku step down for each, PDP with YAR ADUA will still win because out two/three evils, one is better than the other.

I can assure majority of Nigerians will still side with YAR ADUA.

We Lawyers are so good, we like to argue until Supreme court can no longer overrule herself and we get paid for trying.

Bhuari and Atiku are fighting a lost cause. They enter the race to ensure that power went back to the North and OBJ was caught out in the game.

The Presidency should at least have gone to the South south if not the south East but the North scheme to have it back and OBJ fell for it starting form the 3rd term nonesense.

he got Yar Adua to stop Bhuari from Katsina and Atiku is the protegee of the Yar Adua family and therefore Yar Adua appointment ultimately checkmate those 2.

If one has step down for the other which OBJ bet his life on that will not happen, they will have given PDP run for their money and may even half the states and Senate and National Assembly win of PDP. Today we may be talking of a very powerful opposition to unseat the PDP.

SELFISHNESS and greed cost them dearly, now when they lost the election they can see but it is too late.

MY dear brother, I am an optimist to the end of the world even in the midst of challenges.

ALL THOSE PEOPLE THINKING OR SAYING THAT NIGERIA WILL ATTAIN TOP 20 ECONOMIES OF THE WORLD IN 2020 ARE DREAMERS AND LIVING IN CLOUD COOKOO LAND. They are just Bankers who constantly see increase profits everyday from one sided market.

Let us look at the basics.   NO POWER, NO GOOD TRANSPORT NETWORK, EDUCATION, HEALTH, HOUSING EXTREME POVERTY AMONG MAJORITY, CORRUPTION AMONG THE POLITICAL ELITES ETC.

OUR ONLY GRACE THAT I AM HOLDING ON TO IS THE SPECIAL GRACE OF GOD. ORDINARY GRACE IS NOT ENOUGH.

IF WE ARE TO BECOME 20 TOP ECONOMY IN THE YEAR 2020 WHICH IS ABOUT 12 YEARS FROM HERE, WE HAVE TO DO MORE THAN WHAT WE HAVE DONE IN OUR 47 YEARS HISTORY IN EVERY 3 YEARS?

ARE WE CAPABLE OF THAT? TIME WILL TELL. WE HAVE BAD FOLLOWERSHIP, AND AN AWFUL LEADERSHIP.  THOSE COMBINATION DON'T MAKE A GREAT COUNTRY.

SERVANT LEADERS IS WHAT WE NEED AND NOT THOSE INTELLECTUALLY BANKRUPT LEADERS.

I PRAYED THAT GOD WILL SHOW US MERCIES AND GRANT US SPECIAL UNMERITED GRACE FOR THE SAKE OF ORDINARY PEOPLE.

TOP 20  POSSIBLE BUT UNLIKELY, TOP 10 A WONDERFUL JOKE CALL ABRADACABRA.

ONE OF THE PRESENT TOP 10 ECONOMY IN THE WORLD HAS IN 1 YEAR MORE THAN WHAT NIGERIA HAS IN 20 YEARS.

FOR EXAMPLE IN THE UK, THERE ARE SO MANY COMPANIES WITH A BIGGER BUDGET THAN NIGERIA. I LIKE REALITY NOT ILLUSSION.

ASK THOSE BANKERS TO GIVE US MORE JOKES

AutosRe: Can Anyone Guide Thru Starting A Shipping Company. by vigasimple(m): 5:07pm On Oct 24, 2007
It appears that your main market is EXPORT shippers from Nigeria,

Because i can tell you that there are a lot of shipping agents in the UK, USA etc already, although  think the market is fairly huge, you may need to start by attaching yourself to those big shipping agents. So you collect goods and give it to the big shippers. If for example shipping from the UK.

From Nigeria, it is a slighltly diffrent ball game as there are not many export coming out and those people already have their channels. Get a licenced custom clearing agent that can assist you. There is a guy on this site called ADEXFEM or something like that, he may be able to help you. But verify everybody, don't just take their word for what they say.

Reading again what you have to say, it appears that shipping of cars etc is from Europe/America. Then use/register with the big boys, collect all the freight and give it to them, they will give you your own commission, advertise your business, tell people in your church/mosque, local community about your business so that they can patronise you,

I will try and get you more details later.  You may need to set up as Import and export agent

Go and see my view/opinion on your poster at the FAMILY section where you posted similar enquiries.

Take care, and be very careful what some people will advise you on this Nairaland. Those people have changed their names several times and even their sex from Female to Male. Their sex is currently male and their screen name start with 'A'

They can only mislead you. trust me. They have the history of doing so. 'He' is already here.

Good luck

@ BUSTA- you are right to some extent, majority will not work because relationship is sometimes about physical (not in terms of Sex )

But there are good exceptions, if you are the one who will like to see your partner daily, it clearly will not work

However, if you live overseas like you do and you don't find anybody you like where you are, would'nt you try accross the pond and make effort. bad experience should not stand in a way of making us to try.

Where I am now i don't have a problem in dating anyone anywhere. It will only take longer than if we are in the same place because I will like to get to know them more locally as oppossed to i love you on the phone business.
FamilyRe: What Do I Do With This Pregnancy? by vigasimple(m): 4:35pm On Oct 24, 2007
Yes the baby was not planned by the couple but it is part of God Plan for the couple.

Irrespective of anyones position, your friend should have the baby.

Even if Doctor were to say for example you are okay to abort it and there will be no problem, can they guarrantee it?

In yourba culture- preganacy and child birth is the ultimate joy and danger(that is why the people will greet you ' E ku ewu') when you deliver because you have just return from journey some don't return.

It might be that it is this child that is bringing your miracle. you may say how at 45 years old with other children before he/she goes to school and all the aggro and costs, it may take another 20-25 years in country like Nigeria and you will be 70 years.

I will give you an hypothetical situation and a real life one.

1. suppossing immediately after the child is born, Macleans the toothpaste maker want a child to promote their products and your child is picked ,and you family became mega or he/she comes with other unusual natural talent. Would you return her to the tummy ?

2. REAL LIFE- For most music lovers , you will all know King SunnY ADE a renowned JUJU music maestro, he was born by his mother at age 59 years old and his mother is now 119 years old alive still kicking and Sunny himself is now 60 years old. He is is very successful in his own right and was not only a blessing to the mother, to her community in ONDO and a pride to Nigerian music industy.

Every child is very unique and carry a special DNA from GOD.

For once pretend that he/she is your first grandchild. Then you will have fun.

Your Prayer now is for God to provide resources to look after him/her- money, time peace and happiness.

Who knows your husband may even be planning for a complete Eaglets to super eagles. grin grin

Good luck and may God be with you and bless you abundantly.

N.B. what you then want to work on is a very good family planning thing if you don't want to have the 8th as you husband is well blessed.
FamilyRe: Eating Customs by vigasimple(m): 10:01am On Oct 24, 2007
Is there love in the family/marriage/relationship etc.

If a husband said to the wife like, darling can you please get me more of the food I am really enjoying it. What is the problem?

In african /nigerian Culture women owns everything that is in the Kitchen, men hardly goes there or allow in there, it is the equivalent of looking into a woman's wallet in the West/Europe/America.

To be quite frank with you there is no big issue with it. If the Man is not enjoying the food or has alredy eating outside he wouldn't be eating the food the woman laboured to cook let alone ask for more.

If the wife love her husband she will do anything for him and same goes for the man

A classical example- a wife may be doing her face with all those vanity fair stuff and may not want to stain any of her clothes can ask husband to please get her some of those things or even her handbag.

Everything we do must be done and seen to be done in Love, then all of the rest are therefore not important.

This issue with greatest of respect is a trivial matter. What hapen if your husband ask you to go get the food and feed him. LOVE CONQUERS ALL

It takes 72 muscles to frown and 12 muscles to laugh, which would you rather do?

FamilyRe: Distance Relation And What To Talk About by vigasimple(m): 8:32pm On Oct 23, 2007
Just start by asking about work or his study today depending on what he is doing.

So you simply ask about his day at work or college, what is he doing, does he like the work, study, what exactly did he like. Does he pray about his choices of things in life.

Whilst you are doing this volunteer some of your info like the type of work /study you are doing but your future ambitions.

Then how many in his family, where are they, is he close to them. You can begin without pushing to build a picture of the type of person he is, but also volunteer your info once you ask him and he has replied.

You will have to list all that you will like to know about him and ask him not more than 1-2 in each day unless he himself open up and volunteer the info otherwise he might think you are jumping.

Good luck.
PoliticsRe: Madam Etteh! For Or Against? All In Favour: by vigasimple(m): 8:03pm On Oct 23, 2007
It is very interesting that everybody is shouting ETTEH must GO like NANS student activies and students on campus.

Why don't any of the (dis) honourable member move a motion in the House to have her removed and let their be votes on it.

She will win the votes and that will be the end of that matter.

The issue I will keep saying is more than ETTEH and maybe the war will be averted if she stay but there is likely to be a full blown out if she leaves and that may be good for ordinary Nigerians as everything will be exposed

The whole of the National Actors Thearte (sorry National Assembly) will unfold as full time House of comedians and den of thieves.

Let the show start while Nigerians pay those jobless turn politcians huge some of salary for not enacting one single law because they are obbessed with who is or is not SLEEPING with ETTEH. (that is the silent facts)

With greatest of respect, not minding her qualification, hairdresser here, beauticians there, law degree etc, she is propably more competent than at least half of those so called Honourable members. She has also being in the House if I am right for over 8 years.

We need God to come now and deliver us, and surely he will do so. Amen.
Jokes EtcRe: A Must Read For All Married Couples And An Eye- Opener For The Yet To… by vigasimple(m): 5:39pm On Oct 23, 2007
To Money4you,

That is a good and wonderful story for couples to bear in mind to always take time out to rekindle love and also make sure they do not take each other for granted. Another relationship will never be the solution for the ones that you are in which you have not looked after.

Marriage is a lifetime committment, and it has its downtime but its uptime are always more and the best.

AND I thought this was a true story about yourselves and you are still looking at BUSTA's profile and picture and admiring her. Are you a serial 'adulterer'. you had bearly got out of one?

I must say that BUSTA got the best smile in the house if you see her previous photo which I think she changed now. Anyway looking is not a crime, who knows pigs might fly. Maybe one day you  (if you are not marry)may get to meet her or indeed somenone else, even me. I think you too like good and beautiful thing this Money4you of a man. Becareful!

Anyway, i hope you have learned your lesson. good luck
