To,

Presido 1,

The internet has brought out the worst in some people.

To insult others that are making their own contribution is clearly uncallled for .

I don't know how old are you yourselve, but your thought betray your age. Even if you are 100 years old, it is very clear that you did not act your age.(whatever that maybe)

In any event it is not about age, it is about constructive argument.

I am surprised that you live in the same Uk that i live and argue as if you don't see how democracy is approached and practised. Trading insult and innuendo is not facts.

I will say it again, if anyone has evidence of any wrong doing about anybody give it to EFCC and follow it up and stop yabbing on the internet becasue that will not get evidence to EFCC.

May God continue to grant us more wisdom.

To

Babasin,

I think you should mind your language and calling somebody that have done very well at his job stupid, it is uncalled for.

I really question Soludo's judgement to the point that I will say that he has been charmed with'voodoo' because his decision lack good judgement and economic merits.

He has just changed currencies some months ago and to change all the currencies again is pure wast of resources and devoid of good thought.

The most worrysome of all is the fact that he didn't consult finance minister and the president at least plus all the stakeholders.

He may need to mend fence with more than just the presidency, the finance minister and the AG.

He may also have to call meeting of all the major stakeholder and the Nigerian people and openly apologies.

Even if the CBN has full independence , he should understand that Nigeria is not yet ripe for his type of economic thinking and some other pecularities that is called Nigeria.

I beg Nigerians to forgive him once he apologies and let him get on with his job.

I am a nigerian, not IGBO and i don't have to be to recognise a good person in public service.

Please Mr, president, Finance Minister, AG, all the stakeholders and Nigerians please forgive Soludo once he apologise.

God bless Nigeria.

I am quite sure you have no manners.

To call someone else mother a 'useless woman' simply say what kind of person you are.

Imagine someone calling your mother that useless woman.

I have said that you should give all your facts and evidence to EFCC and write them and give them a correspondence address so that can reply all your correspondence and the result of their investigation.

It is sad that you are able to hide behind computer and the internet and abuse other people.

Write to the national assembly, the senate and the president and call that woman ' a useless woman' , you willfind yourself in court for defamation of character and abusive language/breach of peace.

I think you are not worth having a constructive argument with.

i wish u well.
PoliticsRe: Oil In Nigeria Belongs To The North by vigasimple(m): 9:11pm On Aug 27, 2007
BLUE2 has made most intelligent contribution to this thread from an expert point of view. I say thank you to him. These are the pertinet information that matters, not that of dubious semi illiteriate who just want to casue discord among the people.

The thread is about a statement alledged to have been made by sunny OKOGWU and not sonny Odogwu.

The former is the brother in law of maradonna- IBB.

My guess is that Okogwu is just trying to curry some favour thinking either his in law or any of his kinsmen would challenge and win office. how right was he on that Yar Adua is now our President.

He has written that nonesense about over a year ago before any of the primaries or the election.

I am not geologist but i have a simple common sense which simply transalate that if oil was found in the North, there will be no need to extract it in the south and then pipe laid to Kaduna to go and refine it. They would simply extract it in the North and refine it there and there would no need for ND militant holding anybody and everybody to ransom.

AS for Zarah and Mr. bean there is no need for us to fight North- South divide. The British has joined us together for their own selfish interest and let us then use our diversity, strenght and weakness to work together for a better Nigeria.

I order you by the power confer to me by the almight God for anybody and everybody on this site and this thread to stop abusive word and tribal/regional attack

May God bless and be with our country and all of us.

What do you think they (and who are they) are going to cover up.

These are informartion that is in public domain already so you and I can monitor it.

The amounted voted for renovation of her official residence is mind boggling but that is what the House of Assembly has approved.

If you or anybody have any evidence of any cover up or wrongdoing take it up with EFCC.

We should always becareful of yabbing community who are just there to aid political opponents or busybudy.

Read what the House has said about the whole saga.

Politics20 20 Vision, Which One? by vigasimple(op): 7:12pm On Aug 27, 2007
In the last few months and couple of years, the Nigerian government have being talking about the 20 20 vision.

I ask my question with contempt.

Is it the N20 N20 police vision ( N20 naira bribe) or becoming one of the leading 20 economies in the world.

Which one did you think is likely or possible.

I think the N20 N20 police vision is more than propable by the year 2020

My simple reason being that either OBJ or even Yar Adua PDP gave me little or any confidence. i am usually an optimist but unless the national emergency on energy is declared immediately and at least 50,000 mW of electricity is in place in the next 2-3 years, that vison 2020 is more likely to be the police vision. I read important information on this site about what our energy situation should be. www. nigeriansforsuperenergy.com read it and see what our situation is.

Furthermore, our transport policy should be robust to the point that you can go to any part of of the country both on Air, rail and roads with ease on the same day with maximum security.

Then our Health, Education with full employment and the ability to feed ourselves.

Finally, we must urgently diversify our economy and stop relying solely or mainly on OIL so that both the ND militant and oil consumes all over the world especially the USA would stop threathing us. If alternative to OIL is sudenly found and available in huge commercial quantity the effect will be mind boggling.

The govt need to re-orient and re-eduacte themselves and all the citizen about patritiosm, intergrity and service.

To assure of such vision we have to quickly put a programme in place to first surpass South Africa and be number one in Africa. We also need regional development in Nigeria, like Regional development agencies for the 6 geo poltical areas of Nigeria.

I am usually an optimist and I am still but the chances of these things happening are less than 10%. my justification- OBJ cannot fix Electricity in 8 years! not a good sign.

What do you think?
PoliticsRe: Efcc As A Tool by vigasimple(m): 10:48am On Aug 27, 2007
I like reading newspapers and watching TV and current affairs etc. and i would like to say that I am well informed on domestic and international issues, and importantl I can read between lines even if not spell out fully.

Those Nigeria press with greatest of respect are true reflection of Nigerians. We like to turn opinion and innuendo into facts.

Take for instance the renovation of the current speakers of the National assembly residence, the Speaker's office requested for over N600 milion naira to do the renovation, just over N200 million was approved after due process, everyone started calling her names.

Look as a matter of my own thought process N200 million is a lot of money to renovate a property but if it pass due process or whatever they call it, all you can do is to refused to vote in those people in 4 years time or ask any of them to be impeached.

I do not hold brief for any of them including but not limited to OBJ or Yar Adua.

Like you and good majority of Nigerians, I want the country to move forward and I maintain my position, if you or anyone have a non fabricated evidence pass it on to EFCC and you will be suprised that RIbadu will take no Prisoner. What papers or opinion in any of the media to me doesn't mean too much as anybody can write what they like. Until we have a good Defamation law enforcement in Nigeria, everybody will write whatever they choose to write.

At the end of the day, our politicians are something else because we have a growing or 'babyish' democracy and it will take time before we can see real progress. The politicians are what they are because of the people and the sort of politics the people play. Money talks.

Did a lot of people not welcome Alams in Bayelsa after he has been convicted and release after 'serving his sentence'. What kind of people are that. So EFCC is not a tool of the government as some dodgy opposition want you to believe.

Our campaign should be on how to get our economy in the right shape, i.e Energy policy, Transport- rail and road Network then Air travels , the waterways.

Infact, I predict that if we get those two sector right we would grow our economy exponetially overnight because both family and business we have energy to power their equipments and we can travel to take our goods to trade and get to know each other in any part of the country.

Second stage will be Education and health, and our agric sector to feed our people on the cheap

Finally, diversification of our economy from Oil based solely.

Find evidence on any politicians and give it to the EFCC and see if they will not act. Other are just making out rumours to sound like facts.

May God continue to grant us wisdom and more understanding.
Car TalkRe: Manual Drives Vs Automatic Drives In Cars: Which Is Better? by vigasimple(m): 2:01am On Aug 27, 2007
Part of the preference is due to lazyness in changing gears in MT.

AT will be good where there is traffic build up like Lagos even though it will burn your fuel and other stuff but then you stop worrying to change gears.

In lagos, maintance wise MT will be the best as it can cope with all eventualities.

BY the way I knew that ML mercedez has what is called Tiptronics, which allows you to drive the car like MT even though is AT. You can change the gears by just pushing the side to you and it will go from gear 1/2 to 4

I don't remeber using the manual transmission often though since I just concentrate on the AT to be able to use phone, put on music , Dvd etc sat nat so on a balance if i was to drive a sport car, then MT will be my choice to rev the car and change the gear to get the performance out but if it is just for ordinary motoring to work, out , travel while troubling yourself when you can have AT.

In lagos not such a good idea for AT for maintance sake.

So it may be better to have manuals as Auto can give you more problem and mechanics even in the UK and USa knows that AT is more expensive to maintain.
PoliticsRe: Efcc As A Tool by vigasimple(m): 11:57pm On Aug 26, 2007
Chidichris

it is very clear that you are ill informed about events.

EFCC has said it repeatedly and numbers without times that if anyone has evidence of any wrong doing by anybody he should come forward.

So if you have any evidence or information against anybody including OBJ take it to EFCC and if they refuses to do something about it , give it to the press so that EFCC can be exposed.

There are many 'suspect' in the Nigeria politics but until there are evidence or until they got caught there is nothing anybody can do about those people.

We should stop insuniating and yabbing. These are the job of political opponents who are hell bent on character assasination without proof.

Proof is what is used in court of Law and nothing else.

Overwhelming majority of Nigerian think IBB is the biggest 419 in Nigeria hisotry including me but where is our evidence !

I am afraid go and get your facts and evidence and pass it on to EFCC and see if they will not follow it up.

May God continue to bless our great country Nigeria and bless her people.
PoliticsRe: Patricia Etteh: Another Crooked Speaker Of The House by vigasimple(m): 7:37pm On Aug 26, 2007
I usually don't like people who simply jump to accussed others of being crooked wihout being found guilty

To renovate official residence for the sort of mind boggling sum need explanation including this SUV purchase.

The other questions are

1. It is possible that the SUV are fixed with security gadget which may made the cost go up astronomically, is it the case here?

2. Why does the cost of the renovation this high ?

3. Are there no ethics and committee to look at works for Assembly and senate works etc?

So, I beg you before your refer to someone crooked let all the due process followed.

Th House can start an impeachment if they think that the speaker is crooked, and in any event she is only just being there for less than 4 months.

Also on Birthday party in America, I find that unnecessary if we are going to be encouraging low keys.

A simple close family thanksgiving service and dinner may have been appopriate especially know the sensitive position she is in.

Lets just say that she is badly advised on this occassion and hope that she will find a way to reedem herself, but I also suspect there are political enemies at work which the speaker should have been aware of.

Majority of people who posted or who are attacking the speaker here are not her fan in the first place, but her appointment is an advancement to the female gender.

Time will tell what kind of speaker we have and she may just be better than people gave her credit for.

May God bless our great country Nigeria, and all of us the citizen and grant the leadership wisdom to lead us right.
PoliticsRe: Naira Re-Denomination: Suspended! by vigasimple(m): 9:59pm On Aug 25, 2007
I agree with IG and to the extract from The sun by SEUN.

I have make the same replies on another similar thread.

This a big gaffe by SOLUDO, a brilliant CBN governor of modern times if not of all times.

However, He seem to have make a mistake on this one, his consulation process is flawed as well as his thinking.

Even on economics terms, we don't have a viable infrastructes in the country to sutain such measures. Our economy is still relying primarily on Crude oil in which we don't even refine our own oil and waste gas which we could have used for electricity and other things.

Secondly, the economy is supported by the politicians who are going to be giving directions, so SOLUDO even if he has power under the CBN Act should know that consulation with Finance ministers, Banks, and the President is a must so that he carries the majority of the stakesholders along.

Nigerians on the other hand with our way of thinking, will made the programm to be a devaluation in the other way round as they will start to increase prices because they will see 1naira instead of former 1000naira and even from a small increase from 1naira to 11Naira will amount to 10% price infaltion , and i can bet 200% nigerians will do that. Within a year there will be at least 20-50% price based inflation.

In short, nigerians are used to this thousand and millions mentality and even banks are talking about Billions and Trillions and we may need time to re adjust our psychic.

I have said it before, again and I will say it again SOLUDO got this wrong and will need to be reprimanded gently and let him get on with his Job.

Anything that is major to affect the nations economy, he should be humbly enough to discuss it with Economic team, Finance Minister and ultimately with the President, infact some of it may have to be debated in both Houses of Parliament, i.e the Assembly and the Senate.

May God continue to bless us and Nigeria and grant us more wisdom.
PoliticsRe: Yar’adua Will Shock Nigerians by vigasimple(m): 6:25pm On Aug 24, 2007
Much too early to say and he has only been in office for about 3 months but to be frank he is yet to set a bold agenda, presumably he is trying to consolidate his position.

Time will tell.

I hope that he does not end up like OBj who cannot fix electricity in 8 years. Anything short of complete 24 hrs 365days uninterrupted good volatage electrity with the next 2-3 years is a failure of high proportion. Between him and OBj will have spent well over 10years without being able to fix electricity.

That is why I called them PDP NO POWER.

I hope the other oppostion get their acts together and challenge the PDP seriously in the next election. I seriously do.

For now both of those oppositon are wasting their valuable time and money on futile Electoral Tribunal, even though it is their constitutional righst.

They lost the election with a landslide because they are much more poorer of idea than the PDP.

May God bless our great country Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Soludo Dropped From National Economic Team by vigasimple(m): 5:53pm On Aug 24, 2007
I don't think that Soludo will embark on any policy without at least informing the finance minister or the president in a country like ours. I really doubt it. he seems that he is paying the price of not well thought out policy.

Though the CBN and his governor and team should be politically neutral and independence, but this things takes time. Britain has only granted independence to her'central bank' (Bank of England) only about 10 years ago. so the CBN will usually be part of the economic and political tool of the govt of the day. Therefeore Soludo will not only have to agree this thing with Finance minister but with the president and the Economic team, and also consult stakeholders , which I will be shocked if he has not done so.

OBJ gave CBN and EFCC and some other parastatal free hand and that is why they wanted to carry on as usual.(and Rightfully so)

Yar Ardua tried curtailling the power of Ribadu and the people of Nigeria reject it immediately. He is now doing that with Soludo, on this one he would be successful as Soludo got the naira thing wrong.

The principle and idea is good but to change currency twice in two/three years demonstrate He(Soludo) lack of judgement on this particular issue.

He is one of the best CBN governor we have in recent times and arguably the best of all times but he has some explanation to do with the succession in currency changing as if we have a crises(God forbid).

I have said it before and I will say it again, he needed to be reprimanded gently and brought back to earth, but he should be let go on with his good job.

While on this topic, only God knows why Okonjo Iwenla was sacked or is it just cabinet rescuffle and

why did Yar adua replaces with wife with Husband as Finance minister as if there are no more competent people in the country, and why the Ministry did not go to a south western person since South east was there before and then the North. These are just thought in our politically no correct country.

Whatever he Yar adua is thinking or doing should not touch our dear Dora Akinyuli, a wonderful woman for that job. Otherwise he will risk impeachment from ordianry Nigerians.

In principle changing people is not a bad idea if the new people will have the zeal and the energy to do their bests like their predecessor in their given portfolio.

May God bless us and our country Nigeria.
FamilyRe: Help My Sister's Husband Wants Me To Ave An Affair With Him by vigasimple(m): 3:31am On Aug 24, 2007
Commonsense make me believe this lady with the thread

Secondly, I think the girl shoud speak to her father first, and get him to use wisdom to summon meeting of mother and big sister.

In order for the big sister to believe, they have to set a small trap for the man so that they can catch him making passes at younger sister without being prompt like video camera.

They should have him seriously reprimanded and either agree to be faithful to his wife (if he can't to at least use condom outside)

Since her sister is in love and she think she is happily married, she may not believe her at first and believe what her husband could do.

It takes a lot of being a good man/husband and love and discpline to have a grown up girl living with you especially if her dressing leaves out some 'inner area'. but that should mean not able to control yourself, where is love in the first place ? Is big sister looking after home? is she paying attention to her husband and his needs?

If she give him a good Sex regularly, then the man would be an animal to be looking for something extra.

Notwistanding, it is not an excuse to be unfaithful especially to the wife's sister. such a man is not only very disrepectful but reckless propably outside.

It will take the special grace of God for the marriage not to break as the man is too much into lust that can't even control himself towards his wife's sister.

Is the big sister not giving him enough, a lot of question needed answers to? and they do need counselling for the man to be put straight if there were to be future in the marriage.

Once the inner circle of the family has trap him and find him out, they should tell him that no other members of the family would know and that they should do medical test and seek counselling with their pastor if they are christian.

Things can still be salvage except that the man will have to change his ways because he might end up infecting the poor woman with something from outside.

So the best way for everything to resolve itself is for the lady's father to start the ball rolling and keep it within the family. I am sure you will be glad you did, otherwise the man is a time bomb that will catch something and give it to your sister.

Once it is resolved, on no account must you go and live with them even for one day.

Time is a great healer, the test of their marriage will come and pass that way. You are helping your sister in her marriage today, it may be your turn tommorrow. And somehow God will send helper to help you as well. Your marriage test may not be a cheating husband but something else. We all have our challenges.

Good luck an may GOd grant you more wisdom and me and my family.
PoliticsRe: Ac Calls For Sack Of Soludo, Others by vigasimple(m): 2:40pm On Aug 21, 2007
Abeem:
I have read accounts of other people's reaction to the denomination policy the the CBN Governor. I think what he meant by policy sommersault is the apparent inconsistency exhibited by the CBN helmsman. About 2 years ago, he was sold the denomination idea by some economists but he simply dismissed the idea without giving it any consideration.
He demonstrated his aversion for the denomination policy when he decided to commit large amount of money to the change of the currency last year, an exercise which you will no doubt agree gulped a large amount of money to implement.
Now barely less than a year after lauching that currency change with pomp and ceremony and what have you (I think the exercise was largely meant to appease OBJ and his religious base in removing arabic inscriptions from the currency than contributing any economic significance to the value of the currency), he has decided to make a policy u-turn by announcing the denomination policy. That was the policy sommersault the AC secretary was talking about.
The above I agree with the first statement, Soludo have just spend monies to change currency just about a year ago and next year he is going to change it again. Who pays for that (The people scarce money)

I disgaree with the second statement to say that he is trying to please OBJ by removing arabic form the currency. Arabic is never any of our language. Yoruba, Ibo and hausa is our main language. Arabic is a religiously affilated language and it is rightly removed, otherwise we may soon have Jewish language on the currency for the Christians.

I think AC are playing politics, in as much as I think Soludo has made a mistake on this and messed the whole thing up, he need to be reprimanded but sacking definitely NO. He and his team has done well at the CBN.

May God grant them and us more wisdom to do the right thing.
PoliticsRe: Legendary Harold Smith Speaks About Nigeria ‘hidden Agenda’. by vigasimple(m): 1:57pm On Aug 21, 2007
The only thing I am suprised about from this Gentleman was that he has the courage to say what good majority of nigerians already know.

I watch the programm and simply confirm my suspicion or what I think the position has been all along that the west (The Europeans, especially the British and also the American's) need to make sure Nigeria keep crawling because if we can walk, it may just be possible that we may want to run, even fly and before you know it we will start competing with them.

Slavery and post independence plot are what the west strive on and they have no reason to stop now, until we Nigerians wake up and forget past hurt(as Harold Smith) put it and find away to work together.

For instance the East and the West work together without suspicion. W would move mountain

In terms of ability, there are more people in the East and West that are able to lead Nigeria than the North without disrepect to our brothers in the North , those are facts. So is it compromise or sheer stupidity that the leadership has always comes form the North to administer southern wealth mainly for their own benefits.

But the inability to see eye to eye in south is stopping our progress. The fact leaders comes from the North will mean very little if we have programm to work together and cooperate in the South.

I hav always advocate inter race/tribal dialogue and meeting and religions so that we can understand each others and take away suspicion of each others.

I hope we can now wake up and promote merit and no more mediocare.

May God in his infinite mercy continue to bless our Great country Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Obj Offered Kalu N5billion? by vigasimple(m): 10:38pm On Aug 20, 2007
To

Chidichris and BAbasin,

Kalu and the other governors are the starting point.

Kalu will not have been arrested if he has attended EFCC office like other governors.

He would have co-operated with the EFCC if he had nothing to hide.

Infact  the hosiptal saga clearly exposed the kind of person KALU is likely to be, he would in that particular instance have to disprove the prosecution rather the prosecution proving their case if he is found to have lied on oath to go to America? Why would he want to do that if not to escape justice? I like to be corrected if that is a wrong assumption.

On the whole I think the EFCC will end up prosecuting at least half of the former governors, some ministers and local govt Chairmen.

What makes governors more important than others was that they stop their relevant states from developing by taking abroad their Federal allocation.

AS for OBJ, the EFCC has always ask for petition or complaint of his wrong doing so that they can investigate him. In as much that I  don't hold brief for OBJ until someone or group comes out with some concreate evidence, I am afraid all will be speculation.

In my own opinion which is again pure speculation the most corrupt Nigeria Head of State today is IBB, I say it before and I will say it again without evidence you cannot succesfully prosecute him. Chikena

May God bless our great country Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Obj Offered Kalu N5billion? by vigasimple(m): 2:27pm On Aug 20, 2007
I don't know anybody who can take KALU seriously as the man has no credibility and can assure you the photocopy of the Bankers draft will propably be a forgery.

The man in order to travel and escape EFCC and the courts and ultimately justice was alledged to have conspire with someone in the USA to say that his physical presence is required for signature and consent for his wife medical operations which later turn out to be fabrication as confirmed by the hospital management.

I am afraid KALU was alledge to have stolen 3 billion, and if he was offrred 5 billion why would he reject that and steal 3 billion belonging to his state.

Anyway, once the trial start he will have more than ample opportunity to bring more fabricated evidence which he will use in perjurying himself.

Once caugth just say you are being witchunted because you didn't support 3rd term for OBJ which in the end is of NO ISSUE anymore.

YAr Ardua has no benefits in OBJ 3rd term and will see no reason to encourage EFCC to prosecute people who let him get the office.

He KALU will be better be advice by his counsel to be finding way to get mitigation rather than aggravating his situation.
RomanceRe: Ladies Whats Your Criteria by vigasimple(m): 4:01pm On Aug 17, 2007
With the greatest of respect women themselves don't know their own criteria or what  they want, it depends on what time of the month and how old they are.

Now at this point in time they will tell you the usual thing depending on their age. In few months or years time, it will be a diffent song. Having a criteria is hard enough sticking with it is another matter.

Even if you ask your grandma she will tell you the same thing.

Good luck to our ladies.

If they got something they like now and they think they have got something better tommorrow they will jump.

This is the case with very high proportion of the ladies i.e the majority.

And it is even hard for the said majority to admit it as they are in denial.

May God continue to be with our ladies and MENS who are lucky to be with any of the majority with non criteria.

To

Uyai,

It appears that both of you are just using each other to get over ex and 3 months is too soon to come to the conclusion that you re having  aserious relationship.

To me he is just having  a great time and every girl that left him want to come back because they can see that he is a player and will always catch a new fish or bird.

It is up to you,and how old are you.

YOu may need to be patient and discover whom you are in the first place and what sort of relationship you want and find the guys that at least come closer to your type of person whom you share the same thing in common.

The relationship in my candid and humble opinion is a  NON STARTER and in as much as i don't like to hurt the way you feel, that is the honest truth. If he has only been separated from his ex and yourself has only been separated from your ex., you are only using each other as shoulder to cry on. Look forward to the future.

Good luck.
RomanceRe: True Life Story, Pls Advice Urgently by vigasimple(m): 3:32pm On Aug 17, 2007
This is not my usual answer, but I tell the Guy to forget Love and move on as fast as he could.

A cheating and lieing woman is one thing, sleeping with another man especially 'ex boyfriend' in Matrimonial home is another thing.

Then to add insult upon injury, the remarKs allegedly coming from the girls' father shows that her family are of dubious character, this are the sort of father or parent (because women are the ones always on the side of their daughters) that will encourage the girl to give you a bastard child as if it were yours.

God has shown you more light than you will need to make up your mind to run faster than a Jet engine.

My most instinctive opinion is that she was just using you to get papers in the UK. Chikena. She is not in love with you and take it from me she may be in lust but an adulterous wife is most dangerous than snake.

When men sleep around it is usaually for lust and vain, but when woman does that it has more  meaning than that. let me go on step further the so called 'ex boyfriend' knew everything about you and he doesn't have papers either and just waiting for 'his wife' to get papers from you to divorce you and marry him so that he can also get papers. he is giving her the f*ck of her life and you are paying for it including phone bills. You are paying for other people to enjoy 'their wife' and sex is sweet when someone else pays for it.

If your are a christian, you could also prayed for God to give you direction or an insight into it and you will find my contribution spot on. thank God you don't have a child yet and even if you do , a DNA is a MUST now and nothwistanding you still need to leave her unless GOd said to the contrary.

To make you understand what I am saying, once you have suspected her and find all the Text and phone bills and number etc and you confront her including her father, a decent girl will stop it immediately, confess her sin and make sure she has a wonderful relationship with you from then. She continue until she did it on your matrimonil bed you paid for. Infact her parents are aware of all the games all along. she will have told them you are just helping her to get papers and that you are the one forcing yourselve on her and her parent will just support it. Infact the other man may be giving your 'in-laws' some monthly gifts so they are carried away.

A word is enough for the wise. Forget love and think about your life, this type of woman will kill you one day and it will be your fault when you get to heaven because God has expose her and her family  and they will always blame it on the devil, meanwhile your life will have been cut short, GOD forbid.

THE MOST TWO IMPORTANT THING IN LIFE APART FROM GOD IS DISCERMENT/REVELATION/INFORMATION  AND WISDOM TO ACT ON THOSE REVELATION.

MAY GOD BE WITH YOU, RUN AND DON'T WASTE YOUR LIFE. THE WOMAN IS TOP GRADE USER IF NOT PHYSICALLY BUT SPIRITUALLY.
RomanceRe: My Boyfriend Still Has Feelings For His Ex by vigasimple(m): 11:39pm On Aug 16, 2007
I have to diasgreed with the contributor so far.

If your boyfriend chose to tell you, then he need help to sort out the situation.

If he cannot make up his mind up to stay with you and forget the other woman then you can leave him.

Just for playing devils advocate, what happen if the other woman is using some voodo or charming him now that he knew he has another girlfriend. Tha guy in my own opinion is a good and honest guy. He may have a problem which he need to sort out or need help with.

To leave him as it has been suggested may be a very expensive mistake you could make and live to regret it.

You need to pray, soul search, talk about it and let him make his mind up geniuely and give him time.

May God grant you wisdom in your decision.
RomanceRe: Having Guys As Close Friends Aside Your Boyfriend by vigasimple(m): 11:28pm On Aug 16, 2007
I think it is a disaster waiting to happen.

Either you a man or woman, you should be careful having a close friend that they confide in everyhting with.

Once there is an opportunity those two people discussing colour of bras, and pants will see nothing wrong in letting them try to go one better, (they suddenly becomes inspector of P**sy or D*ck )as both does not read meter.

This is likely to happen when the the REAL boyfriend and REAL girlfriend may be going through difficult period and one thing will lead to another with the surrogate Boyfriend and Girlfriend and then it will be blamed on the devil.

EVEN the platonic friendship should be kept strictly that and make sure the girlfriend to the boyfriend and the boyfriend to the girlfriend are always present in discusssion even if it is just telephone so that the other person ar aware that there is nothing being kept secret between the two real people.

Only on rare occassion you should ask for advice in confidence to know how to deal with difficult situations.

AS for OMO EKO she propably got away with her exploit but she may not be lucky next time to see an 'erected d* ck' and if she encourage a man friend or enemy to come to use the toilet while she is having a bath, all I can wish her is good luck.

MY simple advice is to not encourage it because if you are not jealous or your partner what about the other person partner or what happen if they then develop feeling for you or want to try you.

Good luck whatever you decide to do.
RomanceRe: Why Do Guys Like Smart Women by vigasimple(m): 11:02pm On Aug 16, 2007
What do you mean by smart?

Smart as in intelligent and constructive OR as in PLAYER ?

It takes two to tango, if a guy like a smart woman, there is nothing extraordinary about that as the man himself will be smart for the relationship to endure tests.

If 'smart' as in a player, it is a stupid man who likes such a 'smart' woman because with time players always plays everybody down until they finally outplay themselves.

I hope that answers your questions.
FamilyRe: Wives: Would You Submit Your Paychecks To Your Husbands? by vigasimple(m): 10:05pm On Aug 15, 2007
I am sure that most people know how opinion poll are conducted.

It is done by sampling and it is quite clear from the majority on this site especially the women that they would NOT submit their paychecks to their husband. THis is a fact that we menfolk knew a longtime ago. Women only will share mens monies and not their own money.

In my own humble opinion majority of women are double standard and they always claim men don't love them.

Even some of the MEN agrees with them (women) in order not be shout down.
Only a fraction of those women said they will do it. IF this wome does it honestly as they claim they will do, they will be beter than all there other feminist who in some years to come will realise that the marriage are simply convenince for been looked after and children etc.

Let us look at the foundation of submission, it is biblical order by GOD and as such the woman paychecks or indeed that of the Man does not belongs to either the man or the woman, it belong to 'the family'

Any woman who cannot submit her paycheck to her husband cannot be submisssive to her husband as her paycheck is more important than her marriage.

The fact that a woman is submissive including her paycheck does not mean that the man goes on spending spree to spend 'the family' money. The Husband and wife sit down together and use all the monies wisely for present consumption and future development.

Some women even said that the woman monies belong to her and the man's monies belong to her(that says it all bunch of hypocritics)

Two becomes one on Marriage so love does not identify paycheck diffrent. Infact a good husband will even give his wife more money if she submit. Also some women who are not going to submit anyway see their earning more money as being better than their husband.

In my final submission I think the womenfolk should rethink their position about finding God fearing and loving husband to marry and submission of everything becomes first nature and there will be no secret between the TWO that has becomes ONE.

Even some are even thinking what happens if they were to divorce. Those are all arguments of a defeatist. The two shall join together and become one.

May God bless all of us and give us more wisdom.
Christianity EtcRe: Oh God, Tunde Bakare Again! by vigasimple(m): 9:39pm On Aug 14, 2007
I don't know the background to this story and I have gone to Pastor Bakare's website.

I did not see anywhere he said that OBJ will die in 1999.

Everyone that call himself pastor or minister are not neccesary of God and God said that in the end time there would be false prophets. But is not our job to call a particular prophets a false one.

Even before end time, there has been and will always be false prophets.

Now coming back to Pastor Bakare, i don't know him and even if I do, I cannot call him false prophet as that is for God to decide.

The only hypotetical point I will contribute is that a man of God should not say about a leader going to die openly, he shoud pray and interceed on behalf of such leader even if the said leader is a tyrannt and should even pray for God to change him/her( the leader )and use such leader mightly for a great change. The God I serve can do that. The Pastor or prophet like isaiah should attempt to see such leader in confidence and not publicise the vision for personal glorification or gain.

To prophesise bad thing is like us criticising a minister of God, it is not good. The case of hezekiah and Isaiah is a good example. Isaiah told the king of God intention to Hezekiah and isaiah a great prophet of God told the King (in confidence) and the king prayed and he did not die.

The other issue is whoever God has choosen to be the leader does not matter his tribe, ethnicity or religion. There are muslim to christian convert and vice versa.

I am  a christian and proud of it but if I have a muslim or any other religion as the leader my job is to pray for them to excel.

Let us wake up and pray for our leaders including ministers and pastors and for them to be the true servants of human being and the Almighty God.

May God in his infinite mercies continue to bless our great nation Nigeria.
CultureRe: Igbo And Yoruba Marriages? by vigasimple(m): 1:30pm On Aug 11, 2007
I am once again impress with open minded contributors on this thread.

The truth is that deep down parents they want the best for their sons/daughters. The few who sworn that their child would not marry from a particular tribe may have some sentimental reasons and not enlighten or have a modern day experience.

If a yoruba or Ibo or hausa person is abroad and ready to marry and the people he/she get along with most is from the other tribe and love, what do such person do?

Inter racial/cultural and inter religion marriages are usually the best because it show understanding and tolerance and I will urge more Nigerians in Particular to promote it.
Infact some of this debate will not be necessary, and we will simply love each other and not worry about Tribes etc.

Although I am a christian(my maternal grandmother is muslim- and my paternal grand father is muslim as well) so I know about each of this faith and would not necessarily marry a muslim but will not be too stuborn to marry one ON ONE CONDITION - IF GOD SAY I SHOULD DO IT.

Let me explain I cherise and respect not only my parents and culture/tradition but they all take back seat to what my BIG DADDY in heaven has to say. He has the final say.

My parents or the family/community , or tradition are just the worldly way that i am here but God orders are not to be compromised, his word stand forever and FINAL.

My brief advice to Carbonate is to pray and seek GOd approval(if God say YES) then speak to your girlfriend's father and explain to him and allay his fears and try to let him see what the modern day is alll baout and forget all this Biafra etc thing and try to work together.

If you and your Girlfriend prays and fast together and God said you are meant for each other with or without your girlfriends father approval, the marriage and realtionship will be a success and with time all your girlfriend family , community and village will come around and love you becasue GOD HAS SPOKEN and he has the last say.

Even if your girlfriend's father says YES and GOd says NO, the answer I am afraid is NO forget the girl go and look elsewhere.

GOD BE WITH YOU AND BLESS YOU AND ME AND THE ENTIRE PEOPLE OF NIGERIA.
PoliticsRe: Olokola LNG And The Niger Delta Question by vigasimple(m): 5:14pm On Aug 07, 2007
I think majority of the guys on this post who are niger deltans are the ones who are looking at the problem and proferring the wrong solutions.

Blowing up, kiddnapping etc how does that stop whatever injustice you think might have been done to the niger deltan?

Infact the federal states has help the niger deltan. State government and governors having allocation sent to private accounts and not look after their own people. Someone like Alam being given hero welcome by niger deltans after having stolen the monies that belong to Niger deltans.

The whole of the Nigeria as a country need re -edeucation and re oreintaion especially the niger deltan people. If oil was in Zamfara or Tarba or wherever and we are one country, the whole country should benefit from it.

Oil, gold etc are natural resources given by GOd in his infinite mercies, the fact that leadership both at the federal, state and local govt are misappopriating the monies is another matter.

It makes perfect strategic sense not to site production unit from souce as both will not be buried together where there any problem in the future.

If again tommorow Oil were to go completely dry in Niger delta, would the niger delta expect fundind from the federaton account or not or Oil from Ondo state etc.

Bombing, kidnapping in my own humble opinion is not part of the solution and counter productive.

The first part of the soultion is to hold the niger deltans governors and local govt chairman accountable for the allocation they get now and there may be enough facility and job that even if no further income or even no more oil in niger delta, the people there will have more than enough.

Nigeria has a wider issue to address, now that niger delta has VP that is an avenue to lobby and get projects with guarrantee of no violence.

If govt will not site companies or business in the niger delta, the behaviour of the militant will not encourage home grown or foreign based business to site their business in the niger delta as well.

Anger and threat of violence just play into the hands of people who think the problems of niger delta is home grown and from the evidence so far they may just be right.

MEND or any other organisation representing Niger delta should put up credible propostion now that there is a new govt who is equally looking to meet Niger delta and resolve a Man made crises.

May GOd bless all our brothers in the Niger delta and the country as a whole.
PoliticsRe: I See A Traumatized Judiciary After Our Forthcoming 'Selections' by vigasimple(m): 4:25pm On Aug 05, 2007
Hello Noblezone and other Countrymen.

You posted this thread on the 27th March 2007 and today is 5th August 2007 and to God be all the glory as the predicitions of all the prophet's of doom has been doomed by the power in the blood of the Lord.

Only the devil and satan puts in peoples mind fear. God will continue to be with this nation and guide her and nothing will traumatise either any arm of our government or her people.

So all people out there continue to prophesise goodness and wellbeing to this nation even in the midst of obvious trials and tribulations. and it shall be well with us.

The country is moving forward slowly and steadily but surely.

GOD grant our leaders wisdom to run this nation properly and for the followers to do the right things at all times.

Congratulation to the Judiciary. and to the govt, becasue the latter could interfere and make the Judiciary job difficult.

May the Lord be with the family of Elugbaju and the Plaintiff lawyer and his persistence.

On the power which has been on for 6 days we should celebrate it.

However, when you have been hungry for so long and you get much food in one go, you will be forgiving for being suspicious of poison, maybe PHCN has finally find or begin to find solution to the problem of power outage.

I prayed in the mighty name of Our Lord jesus Christ that they do find a solution and find it now, this year , not next year and not 20 years.
