bros, there are NO tigers native to africa. tigers are from asia. even nigerian zoos dont have tigers. if you know of any, please share.
phew! of course there aren't any, it's just one of many folklores that aren't true, just like when every father tell their kids they are the best student in the in class while in school. |
tigers are native to asia, not africa. do you mean leopards.
no, i meant Tigers dammit! (erhm, you seriously aren't taking the "fighting tigers" bit serious, are you?) |
190:You go chop cane o 190! |
^^nice write up but there are no tigers in nigeria and are you saying your grandpas were the ones pounding fufu?Well history had it there were a few in Nigeria back in the early 90s, my great grandads killed em all! ![]() |
snowdrops:nah, my great grandmas didn't! My great grandpas treated em like a piece of jewel, while the men were away sweating in the farm, hunting bushmeat and fighting tigers, the women simply stayed back at home teaching kids how to make clay pots, ensuring the compounds were cleaned, that meals were prompt and tasted good and ensuring they looked good before their husbands came back from farms. The boys in the house were always responsible for splitting firewoods, why do you think my grandpa got his six packs from? it runs in the family, we know just how to treat our women right ![]() |
^^ Oh, and I am saying that cos your post compares girls of these days to our Mums |
My ma (lord bless her memory) wasn't pounding yam, tearing firewood, climbing trees, slaughtering goats or hunting animals, she was a plush, decent, respectful, beautiful (both in and out) wife to my pa and an awesome ma that ever is! But i totally understand if you're speaking from your own side of the world, everyone's story is bound to be different. But i certainly don't want to be married to a female hunter, a human washing machine or a tree climber |
^^^ If Jacob did it, does it make it right? |
If you are not a shy type, feel free to mail me here; micklplus@yahoo.comYer right! you just happen to be a happily married complete gentleman who specializes in rescuing damsels in distress. |
^^ Your arguments are valid in that the federal government ought to become more decentralized and give more responsibilities to the states, but we can't necessarily do away with the roles of the federal government itself. Someone has to be in charge of the; armed forces and protection of sovereignty International policies managing money supply enforcing National assembly legislatures enforcing supreme court Judgement revenue allocation to member states providing guarantee for citizen's rights Co-ordination with member states to ensure viable economic growth and development But I strongly agree that most duties, such as state security, power generation, health and life policies, etc, should be left to individual state and guided by state laws. |
din' someone tell you it's a sick thing going out with your sister's ex? The dude would feel awesome, sure! he's had both sisters. . .but you, yes you!--how would you feel bringing him home to dinner with your pa and ma ?. . . not minding the fact that yo sister knows exactly how big his díck is and the things that make him go "oooh, ahhhh, yes baby yes baby" in bed get yo head together mate, at last count, there are 6.5 billion boys in the world, must it be this one?. . .hell i'd wager their are better guys on NL than the ársehole you're currently sleeping with! |
oyewolejos:It would be nice if you could teach us a bit of Legislative matters. If things were to be done by the book, where exactly does the constitution provide allowance for the the state house to Ban individuals from holding public offices in Nigeria? The state's house jurisdiction does not even extend beyond the state and matters of the state. Making irrational decisions, even though it's right and just, would make the state house a laughing stock at best, at worst, seen as irresponsible. The state house is not the state high court, there's a reason why we have the two separately. |
oyewolejos:Where does the constitution make provisions for the state to Ban people from holding political offices? I understand the need for Gbenga Daniel to be held responsible, but isn't it irresponsible for the state to assume roles that is primarily that of the Judiciary? |
@Rhymz: do you have an answer to my question above? |
Can someone confirm how much an average government primary/secondary schools in Imo charges per academic year? |
There's no destiny, there's being fúcking lucky to appear at birth in a wealthy/influential family----if you re not, life is tough on you! |
dejavus:How about Alqaeda's statement about his death? do you suppose the US colluded with Alqaeda as well? His son has written a letter to the United Nation challenging what he called the murder of his father, do you suppose that was motivated by the US as well? The wife is claimed to be alive and recovering from a gun shot wound, do you suppose that was stage played by Obama? And why do you think pictures of the daughter should be released? If her dad was one of the most wanted terrorist in the world, she wouldn't live for a week if her picture was splashed all over the internet, don't you think? you read between the lines man |
Sounds like a nice idea, could you kindly let me know if i can be of help in anyway? |
Mcleo007:Oh wise and mighty one, how do you suppose i could live if i don't get a response from you? |
me needs a plaything!. . .a little Ms Violent ![]() |
Aare, which one. . .Gravel or Grave? no pictures please, just clarification. Thank you |
Mcleo007:You mean expected something more árse-licking? The dude made important points about GEJ's 18 months leadership, the financial recklessness that followed, and how impoverish we are now, than we've ever been, and all you could see from the article is a Norther campaign against a southern shyt? can you guys learn to grow up and be wise? In as much as it's true that certain problems such as "Northern crises" etcetra did not start with Jonathan's leadership, how about the reckless financial spending that followed his assumption of office, should we also blame those on past leaders? El-rufai painted a fine picture, supported by numbers that can be confirmed (or not), and the first thing that came to your |
c) The State has been reporting some seriously high birth rates in the past year or two -- the kids need protection and this seems a good way to startMy problem with moves such as declaration of; free education, of free health, of free food, of free housing, of free dogs. . .etc etc (let's add forfeiture of basic salary to look good in the eye of the public) is that not only are they not backed by solid systems, they aren't backed by firm planning to ensure that those systems are sustainable for another 10 years into the future. A system without proper planning will hit the rock bottom in a matter of months. There's a funny aphorism that "to stay at the top, you'd have to climb, if you jump up, you'd definitely come down in seconds" A proper system would have the following taken into consideration: 1) A close guesstimate of the total number of kids in the state, using a sample survey system 2) what medical challenges is prevalent among Oyo state kids? 3) How many kids would need medical treatment in the future? 4) How many kids can afford quality medical treatment?. . .to what extent? 5)How do we ensure that only children under the age of 5 receive this service? 6)Can the quality of current medical treatments be improved? 7) Should the state set up a defined separate Hospital to handle children cases with only trained pediatrics to attend to children? To what extent would medical treatment be free? for instance, does it cover heart surgeries and bone marrow transplant?9) Who will bear this cost? 10) Does the government have a sustainable budgetary allowance for this? 11) Can we get a Wealthy individuals with net-worth above 500 million, to set up a charity club that will make donations in billions, on a yearly basis to ensure that the project is adequately funded? 12) How will this system react to a change in government? As much as i agree that free education and healthcare are a priority need of any state, if not backed with planning, will always end up the Nigerian way! Studies can be conducted in a matter of months, it's not enough for an individual to make decision simply because it's a nice and warm Monday and the weather is looking good and sunny! |

^^ I like it when you use your name in the third person. . .i find it strangely amusing! |
kpolli:wrong!!! |

the dude must be deluded Bin Laden's daughter said she was there when her dad got shot. Al-qaeda said Bin Laden was shot by US operatives. a CIA agents says otherwise? |
Kobojunkie:I still find it hard to grasp how audio recording helps much in the fight against a corrupt Judiciary. Judges don't talk much during proceedings, they only listen to arguments from lawyers and in the end, make a decision in private after consulting relevant sections in constitution, quoted by lawyers in support for their argument. . . If a lawyer feels the Judge has been biased against him in his decision, he's free to appeal the Judge's decision at a higher court, where more experienced and senior Judges will consider the lower court's decision and weigh in on the importance of relevant arguments. How exactly does audio recording stop a Judge from being biased? The only useful purpose i can see with this, is for citations and keeping records of oral testimonies from witness. . . .it doesn't stop a Judge from being biased or corrupt. The only way i feel corruption can be stemmed in Nigerian courts is through the introduction of a Jury system. |
How exactly will this help ameliorate corruption? Files are normally kept for each cases tried, no? so how does audio recording make much difference? Court cases aren't conducted secretly to begin with, anyone can walk into a court to observe proceedings, how does having audio recordings make the process better and more transparent? |
If poster isn't Becomerich, then poster is nuts! |
