If found guilty by the Judge, he'd be sentenced based on Section 58 (5)

The dude is being charged contrary to section 58(4)(a and b)

Rossikk:You are the one spewing rubbish you twerp! You ask how many of us could sleep at night without protection provided by the Nigerian Police? Protection you say? i laugh, shyt for bodi!. . .Isn't it the same Police shooting daily at civilians in unprovoked attacks infamously tagged as accidental discharge? Bleep that shyt you call unpatriotic, the people in my village feel a lot safer with local vigilantes after history has shown that Police emergency numbers never cease to work and in very rare circumstances when it does, they just seem to have a penchant for turning up an hour late! Keep us safe you say? I think you are the brain dead cretin here my friend, if you had just followed the news a bit closely then surely you must have read the sorry story of youth corpers who took refuge in a Police station only to end up as dead meats!!!!. . . .so much for keeping us safe! Our Police drinking beer while in uniforms is far from something we should ever be proud of, it would be very stúpid to think the world is laughing at Nigerians for demanding a better trained, well motivated professionals in the Police. The world is not laughing at us, the world is laughing at the Nigerian Police farce! |
even the supreme commander of NL knows there's no way you can help being insultive, there are far too many
|
So what happens if they can't afford to pay the fine? |
^^^ SCAM!!!! |
^^ and how did you get to know those things? |
2mch:what relationship does Tinubu and Bankole have with each other? Be reasonable son! |
enyojo:nope!. . .i was dazzled cos you think Social Insurance Number has something to do with sin. . . and that the + in 234 has some biblical relation with antichrist! common!! |
enyojo:phew!!! Boy, I'm dazzled!!!! This is truly an out of the box way of thinking. . .totally exceptional! |
Fixing Oyo state would require changing mindsets, building new habits, and maintaing an unyielding approach towards policy implementation. I remember driving through the biggest town in Nigeria a few years ago, some nutjob parked in the middle of the road to engage in a friendly chit chat with a fellow driver causing an instant hold up. . .when approached, the dude confidently pointed out that since he is not parked in anybody's bedroom, no one has the right to tell him to move his car-----away from the middle of the road? the dude went a bit more annoying that that to claim "Awa la ni Ibadan, baba nla baba enikakan o le sowipe kin gbe oko yi kuro ni bi". . meaning "we own IB, nobody's father can tell us what to do" I have never been more horified and at the same time amused, in my entire life. |
dustydee:The onus is not on you to prove the genuity of the signatures, the onus is on the other party to prove the signatures are forged!. . .you would be in a better position if you could persuade people to give a thumb print along with their signatures. Story 1Both are very good examples to cite, but it does not necessarily prove the futility in attempting a recall. I would wager that in both cases, key members involved were either persuaded, threatened or bribed to give up. If you have a group of well determined people. who could brave/defy all odds including the lust of money, then with the support of a simple majority of your consitituent, you should be able to recall your reps without problems. I doubt many of such persons exit though, not when you are given two options; a) Take 60 million and shut the fck up b) remain adamant and lose your life for nothing! Most reasonable people, would go with the first option, Nigeria is too messed up to be killed over. |
After they become drunk, we give em fully loaded rifles and then complain they are shooting at us! |
kasiem:Móron, I asked a question, put up or shut up! |
beejaei:Duh!. . .it doesn't have to be in the Bible to be right or wrong, . .for instance, there's no part of the bible that forbids having séx with children, you just don't do it, why? cos it's wrong plain and simple!!!! I happen to have experienced dating an ex's close friend; even though initially they were both cool about it, things soon turned sour, today, they are far from being best of friends, and I feel terrible being the ásshole at the center of it all. . .it gets a lot uglier if two sisters are involved! there are far too many guys out there, why make things a lot more complicated for yourself and your sister? cos of love? screw that shyt!. . . . |
keside:If people like you reside in the state, then i see the pressing need for free education! can't you read my post? |
marjo:You could start from Nairaland, then organize town hall meetings for women, then town hall meetings for men, then encourage youths in the area. little drops make an ocean they say |
Hmnnn |
For every silly question, this is www.google.comThere's no point attempting to mask your idiocy. There are no stupid questions you idiot, the fact that it is easier for you to answer doesn't make it stupid! and no, not all answers are found on google, stop being a dolt! |
Wizardofoz:I am saying this unapologetically, you are very daft! someone asked a question and to you it's a silly contribution? what sort of mannerless e-diot are you? if the dude knows the answer, do you suppose he'd ask? |
The government's solution to hampering criminal activities that cannot be controlled or nipped in the bud by security services, is to offer criminals amnesty! In other words, the less violent you are, the more likely you' re to end up in jail!. . .what a joke! |
Honsetly, i believe this is a tool that is being under utilized by Nigerians. Many don't even know of its existence. |
Seun:simple, when you check INEC figures, simply collect votes equivalent to one-half of registered figures, this could be through town hall meetings, house to house campaigns etc etc. |
Chapter Five section 110 of the Nigerian constitution says A member of the House of Assembly may be recalled as such a member if - (a) there is presented to the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission a petition in that behalf signed by more than one-half of the persons registered to vote in that members's constituency alleging their loss of confidence in that member; and (b) the petition is thereafter, in a referendum conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission within ninety days of the date of the receipt of the petition, approved by a simple majority of the votes of the persons registered to vote in that member's constituency. |
donspony:obvious troll is obvious! |

While everyone seem to dance about at every slight stunt pulled by this godsent Messiah, no one seem to paint a clearer picture of the current state of affairs. How much does an average Government primary/secondary school charge on an annual basis? Are the student getting free education marred by poor quality and unmotivated teachers or does the free package include upgrade of all government schools from sub-junk status to an elite status? What plans does Governor Rochas have in place to ensure the continuity of this initiative? e.g is it backed by a legislature which approves free education for Imo state citizens such that, notwithstanding the government in power the initiative will continue? Is free education a pressing priority to Imo state indegenes over other things like improving economic output and increasing jobs? ps. I would ignore you if all you have to say is "Appreciate him, at least he's doing something. . .or, you are just hating on him" (gosh, i wonder why people must think i should be hating on a governor, that's just stupíd!!!!! |
I read yesterday that Madoff's pants sold at auction for $200. . . .meaning the US is stripping the bástard of everything he ever owned! Nigeria has a different way of handling its own, criminals get to spend some 6 months in jail and then keep a major part of their loot---it's a win win, almost like saying "in your face, Nigerians". Judiciary is a joke in Nigeria, crime pays!!!! |
Wait till this ugly looking canine declares that Bankole has no case to answer, we've seen it done a thousand and one times before!
|
Economic and Financial Commission have finally arrested outgoing Speaker Dimeji Bankole of the house of representatives. An EFCC source told Saharareporters moments ago that the agency operatives moved in today to arrest Mr. Bankole after the agency received intelligence was planning to flee tonight. For the past one week, the EFCC and Bankole have been engaged in a tense stand off arising from Mr. Bankole's refusal to answer the agency's summons for interrogation. http://www.saharareporters.com/news-page/speaker-bankole-arrested |
