Ten years from now, you probably won't remember their names again, why should you give a fck what they think? you got your own life son, they've got theirs, don't live your life to make them happy if they choose to be sad and angry. My advise? Go on and shove the hot coals down their throat, brag about your talents, laugh at them when they cringe, you're going to be better off an more confident in the end. mikuz:Ask my why? seriously? is this the case of the frog calling the toad ugly? |

so what are we to do with all that testosterone in a world where nudity abounds? |
^^^ you'd get an appropriate sizable response soon enough |
I go give you National Planning Commission.good choice, I am completely satisfied. i no fit shout! ![]() I am a bit surprised you aren't retaining the women affairs ministry as a personal cabinet for effective monitoring. . .something is definitely missing here. |
tripleE:I agree, nemesis will eventually "cut" up with him! |

You seem to have forgotten my humble, Godly intellect.your humility is quite astonishing! it humbles me myself! I agree with what you said tho, but i believe the press deserve better provisions than they currently have. Their must be a point of reconciliation between the public's right to know, the right of the press to report, and the validation of what is reported as truth. Until we get to that point, we will continuously have to face the bitter taste of power-drunk governors, irresponsible press, and a bunch of confused Nigerians who can't tell which is which. |
^^^I think he answered your questions before you even thought about it. Do oyu actually support this dictatorial moves by Jigawa? I completely disagree with Sule Lamido's approach |
My approach is to ban their access to the Governor and his events onlyYes, the Governor can refuse ( i don't think Ban should be a right term) to grant the said newspaper an audience going forward, but it shouldn't mean the paper is not free to report on or attend state events. Yes, he could stop them from attending his birthday parties or house warming. I think it's essential that you put a definition to what you call "his events". the office of the governor is a public office, news and events from such office ought to be as open and as transparent as much as possible. |
Sagamite:I agree that certain newspapers are likely to be more of mis-informers and one might better of uninformed in the first place. That said, i strongly believe it is in the responsibilities of the information ministry to set minimum acceptable guidelines that news vendors must adhere to. Banning the press would mean that the government can exercise control over the independent and unbiased nature that should under normal circumstances constitute the firm roots of the press. This in turn will likely set a very very bad precedent for corrupt governors who ve been looking for every means possible to keep their dirty linens from the public. If we have a press that is threatened by bans simply because the Governor's beer came late, then we are simply better off without a press to begin with. |
ah! I wasn't daunted by the foolish acts of the state governor, far from it, one can hardly expect anything reasonable from him judging by his dictatorial approach and his god man complex. I was however disappointed to read that educated fellows, on whom the country has bestowed a high level of trust, celebrate the gagging of the press. . .wtf? When the executive fails, Nigerians turn to the house, when the house fails, the Judiciary becomes our hiding place. . .but when the Judiciary becomes corrupt and bias, the press is all that's left!. . . . .When the press is gagged by a mad man, the nation dies! If the aforementioned paper was indeed publishing unfounded information as facts, the right thing to do is to sue them for all the penny they aren't worth, not BAN them, like some fcking god!. . .libels and slander suit are perfect tools to keep the press in check, it has always been! |
NLs and their hypocritical attitude. They want less corruption but wouldn't stand the trial of a politician if "he's our son, or he's from our tribe" . . .weren't there people on this forum a while back who suggested that Ibori should be left off the hook as his trial is political in nature and there are people in government who "haven't stole as much as Ibori did". . . .here we are a couple of days after, these same nitwits keep ranting about how corrupt the country is. smh! |
whatever you are, whoever you are, it doesn't speak well of you to be late, it doesn't even matter if the person you are attending to is a subordinate! There's something called time management and it's reflective in effective leadership, the Vice President ought to respect the people he was paying a visit to, being a VP gives you no right to arrive at a time that suits you, you ought to give respect to earn one in return. The least the VP should have done is to call about 2 or 3 hours ahead that he'd be very late, not keep people waiting, that's just wrong! |
Nigeria is just one bloody Jungle! Boko Haram kills 352 Dad kills all 13 children Another Bomb blast claims the life of 72 Soldiers kill senior police personnels like a pack of flies . . .it happens all the time, what's strange? it's just another long day jor! |
I feel the government must wade into this issues. People should not keep having kids they aren't able to care for simply because they've got an uncontrollable testosterone/estrogen pump |
my comment was deleted, wtf ? |
the simply analogy here is; If you passed your exams, coming ahead of your class, you'd expect some measure of "atta boy" from your sponsors, not minding the fact that they paid the tutiton and you are expected to do very well in the first place. no matter how you look at it, what BRF is doing in Lagos is not a norm, there's no reason to act as though it is. |
The question was: how much does Champagne cost?Moet is a Champagne you little turd! People help me out here.what do you do for a living if i may ask? cos for the life of me, i can't imagine a grown áss matured man doing what's stated in boldened words above. you sound to me like a jobless-fart-big boy wanna be. What you don't realize however is that real men are too busy to engage in such docile activities. and for what? in search for p***sy? grow up son! |
who sets the standard for "integrity" test? GEJ? i laugh in intergrity |
^^^ forgive my outlash, I am not always like that, my coffee just happen to come late and with bad taste too! |
^^stop being an ídiot! it makes no sense for a widely read online media to dish out forged documents that are easily refuted! SR might have erred in the past in terms of opinion, but when they present documents, it's always the case that such documents are genuine |
