Aganga's appointment is a misleading attempt to fit a round peg in a square hole. The dude has an impressive background having graduated from oxford and held positions in Hedge Fund management, but as a minister of Finance, what you need is an in depth well rounded background in Economics, NOT banking and Finance. However, i consider it a shameful thing that a former CBN governor could write in a careless brazen manner as though the letter was addressed to his mistress. such a shameful thing indeed! |
YemiAlabi:you should be ashamed of yourself, clearly there is no mix up, this is a case of a single deranged impersonator with absolutely no sense of self worth! |
This is going to be very interesting! |
If the bozo is indeed impersonating an Ekiti person without him knowing, the mods need to do something about it. Ediots like that one is the reason why peeps are so critical about their privacy on the net.
hmmm, what if for a sec he's not impersonating? huh? |
efisher: ![]() |
^^ lol I must confess, there is a part of the energy you discharge that i find quite interesting ![]() |
lol, i bet neither is rational thinking a family thing! |
^^^ Most scholars spell it as "cue" NOT "queue" nor "Qeueu" damn!, do we have to teach English on every thread? |
Qeueu? Is that a new word? |
why is everyone here being so mean at the OP? I have seen far more ridiculous thread here and people do participate actively |
^^^ erhm, out of context, do you actually know what "lol" means and how it is used? cos i don't think this is funny, much less something to laugh out loud about |
johndoe200:Wow! never knew people get to be this dumb!. . . .chei! so in your own words, whoever has left the shores of Nigeria be it on holiday, business or educational purpose shouldn't be regarded as a Nigerian and they shouldn't matter when the politics and economy of Nigeria is being discussed? chei!. . .this is one way off from being dumb!. . . .this is just amazing! |
johndoe200:and why should a government not listen to its people? what kinds of people sign up on Nairaland these days? little wonder the logic escapes you If what we are screaming is for the government to be prudent on how the treasury resources are expended, then why should a responsible government not listen? |
Beaf:great news that Atiku has been defeated and consigned to the rubbish dump, let's all now pray that for the good of man and country, that Jonathan is the next in line ![]() and hey, before you even think about throwing further darts, you should know that i give back as good as i get , you should also know that i was a staunch supporter of Jonathan, but now, i just wish PDP and its entirety a speedy journey on the way to hades.here are some threads where I once showed active support for Jonathan, and then, it wasn't even long before he demonstrated that he wouldn't stop at nothing to drain the last good stuffs from the treasury, such a shame really. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-515669.0.html https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-433777.0.html https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-425681.0.html https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-414826.0.html |
^^ which part of it has no bearing to the article? The article states clearly that GEJ's government is reckless, and i pointed out a very good example to propagate this claim, but i bet you are too blinded by the politics of "paraposim" to see the mind boggling reckless acts of the GEJ led government. The fact that Atiku was mentioned in the report is barely substantiative and hardly bares on the main message that the report was trying to pass across, which points out that this government is bent on taking us back to the debt-burdened age. I still can't, for the life of me, get why a government spends a billion buying dustbins from abroad, such waste!. . .peharps you can help me understand, Mr Beaf? |
@Beaf Some of us wouldn't offer Atiku the smallest support even if his life depended on it, that however does not prevent us from condemning the reckless spending habit of the government. What sorts of sane individuals for example spends a billion importing dustbins from the UK when local dustbin manufacturers are closing down due to lack of patronage? do i need to be an Atiku supporter to see and condemn this uninformed reckless spending? Dude, you really need to start looking beyond "He's-from-my-region-parapoism" approach to things, it makes you lose respect! |
LOL. These people should do more than NairaLand or the internet. Lets say there is no NairaLand, where will you make all these noise? Who will listen to you in Nigeria? No one. Why? Because people know better than to listen to sponsored stories and propaganda. Havent you realised?
As distasteful as this sounds, some elements of it are true, what beats me however, is that someone could really attempt to score a winning point with such shameful trend. The fact that no one will listen to "us" in Nigeria shows the kinds of defective sham we have that we call democracy, contrary to what the initial author of this piece intends, it puts the government in a grim light. One will think that a democratic government should be for the people, thankfully we have Nairaland, some of us can practice and enjoy the dividends of e-democracy. |
LOL. i guess thats what u will do if u were President? LOL.
Forgive me, for i have wrongly assumed that you are able to understand the simplest English sentences. |
The fact that the House of Assembly has kept quite is particularly more disturbing |
Haha, my dad received one of those messages some years ago, I can confidently tell you it's a big phat lie, i know that cos i spoke with dad few minutes ago, and in the words of OBJ, "he still dey kampe" |
everyone is clueless but ready to criticise.
You should restrict yourself to speaking for yourself alone. that you are clueless does not necessarily mean everyone else is. |
Brig. Gen. Hassan Umaru told journalists that soldiers opened fire because the students had refused to return to the University of Jos campus. He said he had no information about any deaths in the shooting.Life is worth nothing in Nigeria, you can imagine the kind of justifications this Brig Gen dundee Hassan Umaru is trying to make. whatever happened to the use of tear gas and rubber bullets? Would this daft head make the same Justifications if the five dead bodies were all his kids? |
It's funny how the same people who accused the United States of "poking nose" in other people's business and yet, still accuse the same United States of not reacting to Egypt's situation. |
Why the hell are people screaming "register and vote" as if those votes will count? |
presido1:Do he? wow! fabulous!, English must have changed so much since the last time Mr Okoronkwo taught me construction of basic sentences. |
Kobojunkie:Mismanagement, shoddy planning, and Poor Judgement. |
yeah rite! In his dreams! |
Ibro Yaya:How do we even know that additional funds will simply make all our problems vanish?. . . .we don't! If someone can mismanage 87 billion, what's to stop him from mismanaging an extra 6.6 billion? |
^^^ Lame! where in the world does someone provide a full script of a conversation that occurred between two parties when it's clear as the sky that you weren't present at the time the conversation took place, neither do you have in your possession, any form of recorded evidence. In fact, this makes me dub thee the number one false information peddler of Nairaland, weren't you the same person who claims Ribadu has estates in Dubai, London and "other places"? and yet, you couldn't provide any credible source to back up such claims? All this "dem say he say" makes you appear cheap and somewhat desperate, and in the words of Hon Obiagbon, "this will-o-the-wisp of jagronism maladay is synchronous to the meddle-la-feddle estimates of the deceptive cabal" |
And who are you ("we"I am a Nigerian and my one vote entitles me to good governance without bias, one who is able to manage and allocate the country's resources efficiently enough to create opportunities for Nigerians everywhere and reassure and deliver a safe environment where the young and old are unafraid. So far, Goodluck is just not the man to fulfill my dreams {no homo intended} |
Those ones in Dubai and Lodon among others. But seriously dude were you looking for answer or you are just being sacarstic?Sincerely looking for answers! Pray tell, how sure are you of these properties located in Dubai and london and those others? Did you find them out yourself? found out reading reports?. . .or do you maintain close ties with Ribadu?. . . or is this just a plain bland guess? Just asking to be sure to get updated |
Eko o le baje lai lai! Don't you just love the way Lagos thinks? |
