With this new law, what happens to families already in the UK? Like, couples wanting to each do a degree after the other has rounded off their studies? (Husband came in for Msc and brought family with the plan that when he finishes, his wife would then go for her msc) Would the new dependents have to go back?

If it was a normal contract the employer would be liable to pay in full at the end of every month for as long as the contract subsists, regardless of whether they give shifts.

I've been thinking about this as well. There is a minimum salary requirement for tier 2 visa. So the employee is supposed to be paid in full whether there is shift or not.

Here is the issue, he who wants equity must come with clean hands. If the employee reports none payment of salary to HO, HO will take action. But they can't report because the company will go down and they'll lose their jobs.

Buy the insurance on the license you want to drive the car with. If you intend to drive with you int'l license, buy the insurance on it. If you intend to drive with provisional license, buy the insurance on it.

If you buy on the provisional license and any incident happens, your insurance is automatically invalidated if you didn't meet the requirements to drive with it (i.e being accompanied by someone and have L plates on the vehicle) and you won't be able to make any claims.

With the current rates, many Mortgage payments are higher than rents. Typically, someone in a 2 bed flat paying £800 gets a Mortgage for 3 bed house and monthly payments jump to £1,500 or more.

If affordable, it's a good opportunity EVEN with the increased payment.

You're right, the talks of rent being (almost) the same as mortgage payment was before. Now the difference is clear.

I held Transcorp Nigeria plc shares for 15 years from N7 and l averaged down to N1.4 until this year when Otedola came and helped me moved the share price to N3.12 to N3.15 where sold the shares currently.

Funds you put on the stock market, must be with a long term view....... Even when stocks are under preforming, it's still a floating loss (until you sell a losing position or firm goes belly up).........

It's very easy...just keep buying the deep to average your buy position until the firm goes under and stock delisted.

Alternatively, sell to cut loss...but as soon as you sell, stock starts performing and you buy at a price higher than you sold. Repeat the cycle.

Depending on the kind of yawa.

If the employer does not abide by terms of employment like minimum salary payment, home office will deal with them (not because you paid agent but because they broke employment laws).

But if the yawa na say you just go report about paying for the job, the employer can simply deny you except you have verifiable indicating evidence. In this case, both payer and payee will be dealt with.

I dont think there is any alternative o when it come to taking another empoyment as a sponsored skilled worker as his current employer has a big role to play in the process of changing sponsored jobs .
By law he can't bypass his current employer to take another sponsored employement elsewhere as UKVI cannot even grant him a new COS if his current employer doesnt cancel the current one .

Are you 💯% sure about thise. There are people that have changed sponsored jobs without their employers knowing. Example is that guy that had issue with driving a car that resulted in maltreatment. According to him, when he resigned, the employer didn't know what next for him.

For me, if they give me 2 years, I will ask if they can make it 5.
