Does anyone have information about parking at Heathrow Airport

How far are car parks from the airport?
Like how much for a 5hrs parking?
Any restrictions worth knowing before hand?
Will I still need to take uber because of luggages?

I understand I should avoid driving to/in London as much as possible but I just want information about parking in/around Heathrow airport.

Thanks

Whatever you do, please stay away from Ethiopian airlines, unless you want your money to go cheesy.
Wahala...
Me and my brother agreed on Egypt air, few hours latter he called me that his friend said I should not even try Egypt air. People say don't try Air Maroc, now stay away from Ethiopia airlines.

I'm confused.

Has anyone here used egypt air before?

I'm considering egypt air, Ethiopian Airways or Air Maroc to Nigeria.

Any reviews for any of them?

So which detergent is good for washing cars.

I heard normal detergent does not produce good results. I'm thinking of using dish washer.

Also which is good for waxing?

My issue is this when they started these lies immediately I joined the organisation one of the staff told me to start keeping evidences. For sleeping the only concrete evidence I have is pictures of them and videos of them sleeping at different times that I have taken, it is against the Company's policy to snap anyone without their consent. Please how do I go about using these evidences to exonerate myself of this allegations as they have tried every means to get me and this is the only lie they could come up with. Can I show the HR the pictures and videos and let her know that I had to do it as I have seen the signs of them trying to frame me up? Please I need advise before my meeting with her. Thank you all.
My only contribution to this is if the accusations against you are false but upheld, tender the evidences you have. Let everybody bear the heat.

Thanks brother.

I've checked, my vehicle it meets the ULEZS emissions standards. Please see attached and advice for next line action I can take to resolve the issue.
ULEZ is different from congestion.
You have been asked to pay congestion charge not ULEZ charge.

Very simple........ You drove through congestion charging route......... Don't bother challenging, just pay the penalty...........
To avoid reoccurrence, how do one make payment after driving in a congestion charging zone?

Are there paypoints around the zone like car park paypoints?

Knowlegeseeking:
My people,

Thank you for helping me stay on track with my ACCA and audit career.

Please come out and help me with taking this decision.

I have 2 jobs offers. One with the audit firm (company A) i currently work with on a part time basis (unto 20hrs limit) which is offering me 5 years sponsorship and another audit firm (company B) offering me 2 years fixed contract based on me going on a PSW visa route first, and subsequent sponsorship when i get chartered.

The second company is a top 15 audit firm here with very good pay and benefits. The one i currently work with is on the lower cadre of audit firms and the pay and benefit is not as good as the former.

For company A (sponsorship), i will bear the cost of Visa and IHS for the 5 years (9,086 with the going rate or 13,624 if the new rate is applicable by October). This calculation includes my spouse and I. There is the option of paying this cost overtime by direct deduction from my salary.

But if i go with going on the PSW first and finishing my exams, I only bear PSW costs (3,926 pounds with the current rate or 5,785 if the new rate is applicable by October). company B assures bearing all costs of sponsorship when we get to that bridge.

I have considered career trajectory, interests, work-life balance, proximity, etc, and the company B tick more boxes.

In your honest opinion, please tell me what the best choice will be.

Thank you.
I will go with company A for the following reasons

Actual offer of sponsorship is better than promise that is not legally binding.

With company A, you are on 5 year route already, with company B you are looking at around 7 years

With company A, you can change to another company on sponsorship with better pay, you can even apply to company be after 2 years if they are willing to sponsor at that time.

With company A, change in visa policy is less likely to affect you because you are in that visa category already, if visa policy changes before company B's sponsorship come, you may be affected (who knew this dependant thing will happen so soon and who knew students would be banned from switching visa category as well? Anything can happen)

Lastly and more importantly, with company A, you have rest of mind, you are not praying for 2 years to come quick so that you will get sponsorship.

The advantage with company B is just high risk high reward. So if you like to take risk you might prefer company B.

@All

When buying a land from any of these agencies in Nigeria how do one verify that they are genuine? Apart from visiting their offices and viewing the land which other ways can one verify that these are not scammers?
The seller will give you photocopy of the land docs, that is what you take to ministry to verify. That is what I heard.

The bolded is not among the ways and the company's reputation or track record is not a guarantee.

I'm yet to understand why favorite players are reserved to take last penalties. Any reasons in particular?

I mean what if they don't get the opportunity just like we have seen in many occasions.

Oshoala should have taken the first penalty.

You are just speaking in tongues which is very common when church-goers want to deflect from the real issue.

You agreed that Christians can commit sin but a pastor who committed sin is not a Christian?
Simply put, not all pastors are Christians.

Whether you commit sin or not is irrelevant. Mere answering 'pastor' does not make you a Christian.

He is a Christian, no Christian is without sin. If 1% of Nigerians are as Christ-like as you stated here then Nigeria will be heaven on earth considering the number of churches we have in Nigeria.
I choose my words carefully. I didn't say a Christian is someone that does not sin. I said a Christian is someone that behaves like christ.

In christ, there is forgiveness and forgiveness will not exist without sin but that is not the issue.

The issue is that in the example you stated, the pastor is not a Christian.

There are churches established for the purpose of taking people away form christ, those are not just sinners, they are anti-christ.

Christianity means christ-like.
Not everything that is pastor or church related is christ-like.

In this your example, the pastor is not a Christian.

Simply put, a christian is not someone that goes to church, a Christian is someone that behaves like christ. So if you want to give an example, use Jesus Christ.

If anything, take this advice from me. As a non resident of central london, i take God beg you, no drive enter london. Speaking from experience! E no funny at all..except you know how it works driving in central london and you know your way around there.
What's are your exact reasons?
Too much traffic, no road signs, no parking space or what?

I mean if this advice is anything to go buy, the reason should not be because someone on Nairaland said so.

What do you think of the other COS holders in the seller's employ both those that bought and those that didn't buy, should they be worried?

They should all go back to where they came from. The buyers and the sellers.
They buyers may go back but the sellers may just have their employer sponsor license revoked with perhaps fine.

Oh... Really? How are you able to differentiate between human and AI posts?
There is nothing personal about the post except the alphabet "I", because of that, there was no lesson to learn. This is typical of AI.

Think about it, what lesson did you learn from the post?

Starting business with my relatives: is it brothers, sisters, cousins etc?

Passion for the industry: what industry?

Everything seemed promising: what was promising? revenue, growth?

Unforseen challenges: now that the challenges have been seen, what are they?

The business faced tough decisions: what decisions?

Finally, the writeup appeared effortlessly excellent without errors both in the use of words, grammar and punctuations. This is not typical of humans especially as it is not an official writeup.

Please what’s the maximum speed allowance I can go on motorway 🛣️ ? I was on 77MPH yesterday and just about 100 metres away was this man standing by the bridge wearing black, sat in a black van 🚐 and pointing what looks like a Speed Gun towards my direction…. 😭😭😭

Should I be waiting for a letterhuh 😭😭😭
Usually 10% + 2.
So if that section of the road is 70, you should be good until 79.

I just got to find out that if the speed limit on smart motor ways change from 70 to say 50, the speed camera adjusts to 50 speed limit as well.

Please I need advice
Company A : permanent.
Company B: contract

B already have a start date of 2nd week of July.

A is still doing check, tho, references completed.

Which is better,
Communicate with A if they can fast track the screening process and tell them a little about B.

Or start with B with the mind of leaving soon.

Note: A is my preferred choice
Start with B
Move to A the next day/week/month depending on the start date for A.

Don't worry...B will be alright las las,
After all, we are in the fourth week of July already.

I'd advise anyone without UK license ( or original Nigerian license within 12 Months in the UK) not to drive as you've always hammered. My friend was caught driving after a year in the UK before he got his license, he was slammed 9 points on his new license plus almost 1k fine.
Wao...this is painful.
Hope his car wasn't seized though.

I applied for visit visa for my mum, due to postponing the biometrics date, the biometrics date is now just two weeks away from the intended travel date mentioned in all the application docs.

We have agreed that the intended travel date will not work so plan to postpone. Do I need to write a letter explaining that we have changed travel date and upload or leave things the way they are?
