A valid complain should be that IOM should open more centers to accommodate the everly increasing number of travellers from Nigeria or grant license to other health facilities like CDC, NIMR to carry out the procedure for them. People will support this argument better.

Did you see where I said that even people that went to their office in Ikeja couldn't get appointment? I should go and book hotel indefinitely till I can get date? Queue in the harsh weather for hours while not being sure of a positive result? Okay.

You paid bribe to get a date for biometrics.
You paid bribe to get a date for TB test.

It's people like you that are spoiling the country with what they think is a valid reason. In a place like UK where bribe is uncommon, you will travel down, stay in a hotel/airbnb to get what you want done. Since you paid someone to do it for you no let the money pain you.

In case you don't know, people that give bribes are worse than people that collects the bribes.

Why did you pay to collect TB test cert na. Something that you should wait and collect that same day or the next. Be like bribery dey your blood.

As at December when I travelled, I wasn't vaccinated at all but negative covid test results that is less than 72hrs old were required at MMIA. Without it you're going no where. You should check if this has changed. It was at transit in Qatar and exit at UK that I wasn't asked about anything covid.

Klm, air France, Lufthansa all require transit visa
Ethiopia will be having stop in Brussels, I don't want to risk it also, so man no go hook for road.

I used Qatar Airways, affordable compared to others, no transit visa required, no issue of covid was raised. When we were getting down, we saw people carrying their blanket, we carried ours too and that's what we are still using here. I will fly them again because I need more blankets.

Maybe this is a lesson for those leaving the high street banks, for the new generation, gen z banks. It could be that Barclays has more "influence".

Especially that revolut, scammers like that bank die. They are just like they don't have identity and so are their customers. Once I want to make payment and I see Revolut, I go just ask if you get another account.

Hi all, I think I need a bit of encouragement. I moved to the UK on a student visa in December.

Do not regret your decision to relocate because opportunities abound where you are now. But I think you may have to tolerate whatever job that comes your way in the interim seeing the limitations you have at the moment (e.g visa status). In the near future, you will look back and smile at the past perhaps forgetting how you scaled through.

Another thing that may help is to consider acquiring a skill that can fetch you money without resorting to care job e.g hair dressing, uber driving, buying and reselling items etc.

Change to pounds and bring Pounds

Get a pay as you go SIM at the airport, it will come with airtime and data. If you are not able to use uber because of payment, there are other local taxis you can use, just ask around.

Credit scores aren't much of a determinant for anything don't worry too much about the fluctuating scores, it will settle with time.

The fact that both the elite and plebs make deliberate effort to boost credit score should be enough evidence that they are determinants for somethings.
You might not be able to get contracts like phone/sim contract with poor credit score.
Many landlords won't rent to you if your credit score is low even when you have plenty money.
Mortgage and car loan interests are lower with good credit score.

I would think the focus should be getting here and patiently observe your wife's pattern of work, her rotation and off days. Based on this, you will know what kind of jobs to apply, what shifts to run and the number of days in a week to put your children in crèche. You might be lucky to get remote job, on the other hand you might just turn to full time house husband if you don't get a job with a rotation that properly alternates your wife's own. The solution to this last problem is to get a good job of like £2k/month and use like £1800/month for school fees for the two children.
