I asked this Same question and no one answered. Hopefully they respond to you because I need this info as keeping my naira in mutual funds in Nigeria is no longer profitable for me.

You can also invest it using platforms like moneybox or Lloyds bank (there are others). They invest in shares, bonds, properties etc and their portfolio includes a mixture of these at varying ratios depending on your risk appetite you will select what you want them to invest in at the point of opening the account. Once you put the money there, they manage the investments for you.

The retuns is tax free and maximum investment per annum is £20k. This £20k includes the £4k in your LISA. Meaning if you have LISA and £4k is in it, you can only put max of £16k there, if you don't have LISA, you can put the £20k there.

If you max out the £20k allowance but still have more to invest, you'll have to open a different investment account (can't remember the name). The investments are same but the returns in this one is taxed.

Lloyds bank seems to have a more friendly management fee but having a bank account with them is a pre requisite.

How can someone avoid the avoidable with the use of this iptv?

Methinks banks should be allowed to convert naira to fx easily for walk in customers. Eg I need dollars to pay for an exam in the US, I walk into gtb, give the naira value, and collect dollar value in my dollar account and transfer. Banks shld be allowed to do bdc operations, then no body will need black market or aboki.

Banks have limited supply of FX, nothing to convert.
I used fuel as a case study earlier, just like saying filling stations should be allowed to sell fuel freely, na filling station wey get fuel go sell na.

Nigeria does not have products that earn her forex besides oil.

You need BRP to open a lemonade account in UK.
For your situation, open a pounds account with any Nigerian bank, use naira to buy pounds form aboki and deposit it in your pounds account. It's the same as using lemonade because lemonade use black market rate too.

I have PERSONALLY been converting naira to pounds using Lemonade. Simply fund your lemonade naira account and transfer to your pounds account.

Don’t you think all these apps are our problems? Oanda as at now is £1 to #499. Even going down. So I strongly believe all these apps dey encourage black market rates. I don’t think there is black market for Euro to pounds or pounds to Dollar. All these apps needs to be killed before they kill us as a country to be honest. Just like fuel, black market only thrive when fuel is scarce. To kill the FX black market, simply make FX available, it's not by to carry police go arrest software engineers building the apps. Well, I don't know about the private medicare but when I tried subscribing to private health insurance after it was mentioned here a couple of weeks ago, I read the terms and conditions and it stated that there is no guarantee of early appointment as it will still pass through NHS so I didn't bother again.

Still better than UK in terms of health care provision. UK just has more equipment but some people die before thay can even access it.

A friend's dad was brought to the UK for medical treatment and got a 2 months appointment date. He died before the two months.

Except for referrals, who like his/herself should better get treated in Nigeria than coming here.

I'm about signing a tenancy agreement which stipulate that no other person should reside or occupy the premises without the landlords consent. My husband has no plan of staying, he'll just visit periodically. My son stays.

Some friends told me it doesn't matter as the landlord/agent can't know. And so far they are my immediate family.

Do I need to point this out or not?

Furthermore my status expires may 2023, (with plans to renew tho). Tenancy agreement is 12 months and will end on July 2023. Will this be an issue too?

Why are you scared of telling your landlord about your husband's visit. Except there is more about the house that you have not mentioned like if it's a shared apartment. If your husband's visit will inconvenience any other person, it's best the landlord knows because anybody that he inconveniences will still tell the landlord. If not I don't know whether it matters to tell him or not.

If you pay back immediately you spend, by the time your statement is generated your account will have £0 spend.
So things like your credit utilisation won't be computed.

Thank you for this information. I was in the habit of paying everything almost immediately. It now makes sense to wait for statement first.

Is it if you don't pay anything immediately after statement is generated that it can be said that you have missed a payment or after 21 days of statement generation?

Just like the writers above said before your question dropped. You are not entitled to a job because you ve graduated with a masters degree. You need either skills or experience. E.g as a data analytics graduate, what data analytics tools can you use?

You need to be able to add value to the organisation. I don't think any organisation will employ a masters degree holder and start training the person like graduate trainee.

Option 3: go to their office in the morning (plan to stay outside till evening), the security men will tell you to go and send email, but sometimes a rep comes outside to attend to people. The rep will ask if you have sent email and has not gotten response for at least 3 days, if your answer is yes, she will take your email and promise to book you for the next available date.
