Fashion › Re: Nigerian Girls Are The Most Beautiful In Africa! by vislabraye(m): 7:34am On Oct 08, 2009
Nigeria is a very very populated country so there are so many beautiful ladies especially from the Niger Delta. But to say they are the most

beautiful in Africa I have my doubt. If you want to talk about the ratio of beautifu girls to ugly girls in Nigeria, i guess it would be lower than some

African coutries. The fact is, there are lots of extremes- extremely beautiful and extremely ugly. Ethopian girls are hot, may be the hotest in Africa.

You also have Algeria and Angola. Some one said Nigerians are the most beautiful in the world, i totally disagree. Talk about Russia, Spain, South

America, Oceania to mention but a few. Let's just limit Naija to West Africa First of all.
Sports › Re: Germany Vs Nigeria (U-20 World Cup) [3 -2] Ouch! by vislabraye(m): 12:12am On Oct 08, 2009
The problem with Nigerian teams, both senior and junior is that they lack concentration, Just look at German's second goal even with a man down. The goal scorer was left unmarked.

Siasia has been doing well, but was unfortunate to get this sort of result

Abuzola:
Quran chapter 47

1. Those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allah, and in the Message of Prophet Muhammad ], and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah (Islamic Monotheism), He will render their deeds vain .

2. But those who believe and do righteous good deeds, and believe in that which is sent down to Muhammad (), for it is the truth from their Lord, He will expiate from them their sins, and will make good their state.

3. That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, while those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Thus does Allah set forth their parables for mankind.

4. So, when you meet (in fight Jihad in Allah's Cause), those who disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives). Thereafter (is the time) either for generosity (i.e. free them without ransom), or ransom (according to what benefits Islam), until the war lays down its burden. Thus [you are ordered by Allah to continue in carrying out Jihad against the disbelievers till they embrace Islam (i.e. are saved from the punishment in the Hell-fire) or at least come under your protection], but if it had been Allah's Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you). But (He lets you fight), in order to test you, some with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost,

5. He will guide them and set right their state.

6. And admit them to Paradise which He has made known to them (i.e. they will know their places in Paradise more than they used to know their houses in the world).

7. O you who believe! If you help (in the cause of) Allah, He will help you, and make your foothold firm.

8. But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), for them is destruction, and (Allah) will make their deeds vain.

9. That is because they hate that which Allah has sent down (this Qur'an and Islamic laws, etc.), so He has made their deeds fruitless.

10. Have they not travelled through the earth, and seen what was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed them completely and a similar (fate awaits) the disbelievers.

11. That is because Allah is the Maula (Lord, Master, Helper, Protector, etc.) of those who believe, and the disbelievers have no Maula (lord, master, helper, protector, etc.).

12. Certainly! Allah will admit those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, to Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), while those who disbelieve enjoy themselves and eat as cattle eat, and the Fire will be their abode.

13. And many a town, stronger than your town (Makkah) (O Muhammad ) which has driven you out We have destroyed. And there was none to help them.

14. Is he who is on a clear proof from his Lord, like those for whom their evil deeds that they do are beautified for them, while they follow their own lusts (evil desires)?

15. The description of Paradise which the Muttaqun (pious - see V.2:2) have been promised is that in it are rivers of water the taste and smell of which are not changed; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine delicious to those who drink; and rivers of clarified honey (clear and pure) therein for them is every kind of fruit; and forgiveness from their Lord. (Are these) like those who shall dwell for ever in the Fire, and be given, to drink, boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels?

16. And among them are some who listen to you (O Muhammad ) till, when they go out from you, they say to those who have received knowledge: "What has he said just now? Such are men whose hearts Allah has sealed, and they follow their lusts (evil desires).

17. While as for those who accept guidance, He increases their guidance, and bestows on them their piety.

18. Do they then await (anything) other than the Hour, that it should come upon them suddenly? But some of its portents (indications and signs) have already come, and when it (actually) is on them, how can they benefit then by their reminder?

19. So know (O Muhammad ) that La ilaha ill-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah), and ask forgiveness for your sin, and also for (the sin of) believing men and believing women. And Allah knows well your moving about, and your place of rest (in your homes).

20. Those who believe say: "Why is not a Surah (chapter of the Qur'an) sent down (for us)? But when a decisive Surah (explaining and ordering things) is sent down, and fighting (Jihad - holy fighting in Allah's Cause) is mentioned (i.e. ordained) therein, you will see those in whose hearts is a disease (of hypocrisy) looking at you with a look of one fainting to death. But it was better for them (hypocrites, to listen to Allah and to obey Him).

Yes, Adebayo played well and all. To be objective, i supported his move to Man. City; those people who are calling him names are not being sincere.

But Adebayo acted like an unprofessional. He played with so much resentment which is not good. It is such actions that would make him infamous.Did Kolo Toure play like that? Even though he had a problems with the club, he should at least treat his former team mates with some respect. Or was that how samuel Eto behaved against Inter? He had every reason to, but did not.

Adebayo should learn to be a good sportman, Mr Wenger is also to blame for the woes of Arsenal. Had it been he bought some quality players, gunners would be in contention. The team is so weak and unreliable,
Sports › Re: Amodu Blasts Kanu by vislabraye(m): 7:22pm On Sep 12, 2009
I think we should be fair on amodu ( Even if he's not the ideal coach). Our players were crap. They showed lack of intelligence. Can you blame the coach 4 that? They refused to mark after a goal up. Whose fault is it? Shuaibu made two very vital substitution that led to the second goal, but the foolish defenders conceeded a cheap goal.Would u blame thye coach? Our players a junk( except for Eyeama and Osaze,). And i even heard the Tunisians were fasting. Thats unbelievable . I'm not a fan of Amodu, but the players are getting away with the blame.

There might be some here who are christians but donnot llike the bishop. Well, if God uses him, then he's a true minister of God. I wonder how some one can hoodwink thousands of people in a crusade ground. Did he stage manage all the miracles? what about the fleeing of the witch? I'm not an advocate of any body, i'm only defending the veracity of the christian faith.God's power is real and effective through JESUS Christ alone.

Bolt is just a phenomenom. I'm sure Michael Johnson wont be happy that his record has been broken very well. I don't think the American athletes are happy either. I guess many of them would be glad to hear Bolt took drugs. No one is even talking about tyson Gay peformance. He could have broken the world record but for Bolt sad.

What is it with Jamaican athletes and sprint? I can understand why the kenyans and  Ethopians do well in long distances. But Jamaican is another story

It was so obvious and they even confessed to it. So let's get this straight with her

There's nothing wrong in wanting to marry a rich dude, but let's ask some basic questions

Are you worthy of marrying that kind of guy? Do you have the character , the intelligence, the beauty and class. Mind you, rich guys go for the best and you aint the only lady.

What are the qualities you look for in a man?To you wealth is every thing. hope u don't end up marrying a ritualist or 419er.

Not just a rich guy, but super rich and within the age of 28-30. Well, the people you can find within that category are footballers. celestine Babayaro is not married. Taye Taiwo is not. So you've got to position urself to catch one.

Probably your father was rich, then follow ur mother's foot step,

I'm suprised u didn't mention someone u ar attracted to. That means u don't mind having extra-marital affairs ie an affair with someone u love, while ur husband will be ur provider,

In conclusion, u're giving ibo ladies a bad name

shocked hahaha, that is not true, i have a friend here in the UK,a Nigerian to be precise. we both study at the same uni and we attend the same church. the guy worked for Shlumberger as a mechanical/reservoir engineer before proceeding to the Uk for a higher degree. He is a chronic stammerer and he worked for shlum, a world class multinational oil servicing firm. The guy even sings in the choir and play drums as well. It is only an idiot interviewer that will discriminate against a stammerer, wink
You said Schlumbeger as an Engineer, and not a PRO or any other job that requires eloquence. Just imagine someone like Frank Edoho as a stammerer, or Funmi Iyanda. It would be ridiculous. But the kind of job where you work with machines, or u are in a hole drilling something, then being a stammerer does not matter at all,

No matter how things seem bad for Arsenal, you will always see a sterling performance. I don't fear teams like Everton and the likes, my biggest concern is the the other three- Man U, Liverpool and Chelsea. Arsenal true form will be tested by any of these three. Anyway, the gunners deserve some kudos and they should maintain this form to the end.

It's very amazing how one's achievements could be forgotten so quickly. People are rather too quick to pass judgment; its like they are waiting for

you to make a mistake before lamblasting you well. There are also some people who silently wish to see others fail.

So far, i think Dora has integrity. She has risked her life fighting against fake drugs. Her Achievements are legendary. But the only mistake she

made was accepting the post she was given.

I wonder the correlation between health and information. She didn't act professional at all. I really don't see the sense in leaving from where

one is very effective into an unfamiliar arena. That alone is a question mark.
