enshi: After making a distinction in national diploma computer engineering from a federal polytechnic the future looked as bright as laser Light.. With much enthusiasm and believe i proceeded to apply for direct entry into one of the Universities of science and technology to also pursue a degree in engineering.. As a result of the delay in the University admission process that year i couldnt wait till i was enlisted for the degree program so i applied to further with my higher national diploma in my former school. The Hnd admission came without delay and luckyly for me the admission with the University also came along and believe me i took both as a challenge and went through them successfuly..
Due to the gap between the two admissions i was able to run them concurrently. At This point no youth in nigeria could be assured of a brighter future than i was..
Again i made a distinction in higher national diploma and a second class upper in my B. Eng... All in computer engineering.
Mobilization for NYSC came through first at the polytechnic so i served with my hnd and with a distinction i was posted to a federal university... What other assurance do i need for a brighter future ahead...
DAYS OF AGONY
with a month to the end of my service year i already had my CV, cover letter and i was prepared to go out and showcase my abilities. April 14th 2016 i was so happy to drop the khaki and the jungle boot and with a happy heart i headed home..
Firstly i started with the online applications and after some months i started submitting hard copies from company to company..
After six months my family started showing signs of being human after all and i tell you this is the quickest invitation To depression.. In two weeks from now, it would have been a year sadness, dashed hope and ofcourse loneliness.
To cut story short i am beginning to think that education, sound result, qualifications, and the promise of a better future via academics is just a mere mirage..
This days i find it difficult to let people know i am a graduate... They get to find out them selves later and the sorry face they put up is a killer to my self confidence
Borrowing airtime from mtn, cutting my hair twice a month, trekking has become the Best means of transportation, laughter has become ostentatious, the worst is i no longer attend church services cos my regular appearance in same clothes is making Me an officer...
I need help but hey suicide has never been an option and would never be... I know it wont be like this forever but who knows where the help can come from.... I speak english Yoruba and igbo fleuntly... And i dont mind relocation as i am available for Immediate consideration Stop complaining too much. Things are not all yhat buoyant in the country. One year is long but people have spent longer. Just keep believing. |

When men want to make themselves the prize...instead of developing themselves and attracting a prize. We are meant to woo women. I know naija girls can be full of themselves sometimes but get off your broke behind, get some money and they will comport.
Money and success is a language every Nigerian understands. You can't say all the points are useless. And it would surprise you that it's not all about money or success. I realise that giving them too much attention can be counterproductive. The key is finding the balance. |

Xavier9ja: Am sorry to say this but kumuyi is the only preacher I admire, cherish and respect in the whole universe. I don't attend deeper life but this man teaches the real word of God, he preaches the bible from cover to cover, he is humble and he would have lived a flambouyant lifestyle if he wanted to but cos of his understanding of the word of God he is living a simple life which has made him excel spiritually. I am a sinner and I pray for Gods grace to turn away from my bad ways and I hope to have an encounter with papa kumuyi someday. You don't need to be sorry dfor stating your opinion. But I hope you do as he preaches ! |
Christianity Etc › Re: If You Marry Wife Through Facebook, You Will Lose Her On Youtube- Pastor Adeboye by vislabraye(m): 10:26pm On Apr 02, 2017 |
Splinz: If this remark really came from Adeboye, then it's really an unfortunate one.
This statement is akin to saying: "All Facebook users are worthless". Adeboye of all people should have known that people use sites like Facebook for different reasons; both business and pleasure.
So, that one meets a woman on Facebook that appeals to him and marry her, does not in anyway translate to losing that same woman to other social sites.
In fact, this statement has little or no sense at all! Me sef no understand . Could it be that there's a context to what he's saying ? Why making such absolute statement ? MOGs are not infallible as far as I'm concerned. |

However, i think Kumuyi is someone that other so called men of Gd should look up to when coducting themselves. 1. They are football house attendants
These joblèss ones will tell you while it rained at old Trafford during Baca/Juventus match ;Dabeg help me state the correct clubs.
Better fans go to football houses to have fun, but these ignoramuses will argue, fight, and later bring out their mats when all others have left. We will cite one moniker to buttress our assertion. Spy360 is the man. He made the sentences below while starving in one sunny afternoon.
"For me its Bellerin, except for the penalty, he completely shut Sterling out of the game, that alone was the key to our win. Secondly he got the first goal setting up the team for an emphatic win. Noting also that he wasn't even thought of as a back up for Debuchy, now Debuchy who haven't even played much would be thinking 'why then did Arsene sign me?"
Note that "our win" above. What is he winning? The true winner is somewhere in Europe while the celebrated Dundee rants here.
Note that the topic must reflect romance by fire by force. You only mentioned one reason. I thought you were going to tell us like more than that. Secondly, you seem to have an issue with Spy360 . |

wowgist: I love my job, my Boss and my colleagues. As an Accountant, our job requires that we sit long hours on our computers updating the Companies expenditure and asset database. however, there is a challenge.
My department colleague is hardly on sit during working hours. he loves to leave to chat, socialize and even do personal runs during work. I have tried to help him severally by discussing (one-on-one) as par 'man to man', but no effect. He is simple and very intelligent but not focused because he is to playful. This has affected our department's output severally, as personally I discussed this matter with the HR, my own Boss and other familiar Bosses, but all seem not to be too concerned. They just sympathize. I love my work, we are well paid and really doing well as a company.
Please kindly advice me on what to do I guess his attitude is also affecting your performance. May be u should change your department/unit if possible. |

Marriage is about accepting the good, the bad and the ugly in a person. (Since she confided in you, make sure you don't use it against her in future. ) You have to talk to her about your fears. Your mental ability to process information, proffer solutions to problems and apply them decisively is important. If wealth can be obtained through unscrupulous means, what about grades ? Are you not aware that people buy grades in Nigeria ? I just dey laff you. Or maybe you are not aware that some students are being victimised for one reason or the other. |

Benita27: Some of these deaths are due to medical complications. Leave the witches alone...that was how one who married a British citizen in my hood died months back 'cause she went to register in a hospital owned by a member of Jehova witness and after the delivery she bled and fainted, but they refused to give her blood transfusion that it's against the hospital ethics. She later died leaving the child behind, and her mum was busy blaming the witches in her village.
It's a thin line between life and death when a woman is in the labour ward. RIP to her!. . They are mad. If your religion forbids blood transfusion, it should also forbid you from being a doctor. I hope the closed down the hospital |

SMH leaders of tomorrow Nothing proud of being 3rd class but a lot of people who awarded such deserved better. I've witnessed an instance when a 3rd class graduate was amongst the top 12 in an aptitude test of over 500 candidates. It's unfortunate our schools contribute to this. |
