Politics / Re: GEJ To Import 1600 Buses: What Happened To Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company by VoodooDoll(m): 12:20pm On Jan 07, 2012
There should be a concerted effort for local manufacturers and the local economy to benefit. Or is GEJ afraid that if he grants the contract to Innosson people will then claim "patronage"?

It is already half-past-advanced intelligence gathering 'O Clock. Too slow for the immediate and present danger. Only two options:

1. Get your own AK-47 anyway you can and be prepared to fight if attacked or you sense even a hint of danger
2. In the alternative, and in case you are a peaceful person (nothing wrong with that) run back home like now.

Southerners, there is no shame in leaving the North. The Nigerian project cannot protect you, ignore the rantings of people in safe homes, secure locations and full stomach. Come back to wherever you call home.

Do not be the corpse that any wretched politician uses to campaign.

Politics / Re: Chief Femi Fani-Kayode Thinks Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Is "The Problem" by VoodooDoll(m): 11:49am On Jan 05, 2012
^^^^^

@Ola2

I can understand why you said that and I felt like a maga typing that comment but in my opinion FFK's comment is wrong and filled with schizophrenic reasoning.

Iweala wants to destroy Nigeria because she is a "spy"! That is the hidden reasoning there and I disagree with it.

I disagree with the timing, method and way in which the subsidy was removed but FFK should have directed his tirade at the leader, GEJ and not his minister. Is he angling for her job or a role in GEJ's cabinet?
Politics / Re: Chief Femi Fani-Kayode Thinks Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Is "The Problem" by VoodooDoll(m): 11:38am On Jan 05, 2012
Iweala is not the problem, she is a sound minister. The problem lies with GEJ who could not and cannot project manage, communicate with the masses or even project charisma.

It GEJ had spent more time speaking bluntly and truthly with the people then the people will not be on the streets protesting.

The shots at Iweala can sometimes be cheap shots and the tirade from FFK is not justifiable. Why imply that he is more Nigerian than she is, what rubbish. This coming from an ex-minister.
Politics / Re: Do You Still Think Gej Is Weak? by VoodooDoll(m): 7:21am On Jan 05, 2012
In a few weeks time GEJ will find it hard to occupyasorock. He is proven to be dafter than any CIC before him and the length of his term is in his hands. Let those who know him advise the coward that lacks basic political skills but relies on brute force that he cannot even control.

Beaf:

Go and carry out your id!ots revolution. You will learn a thing or two.
You will be shocked to find out how badly some of us want Oduduwa and Arewa; more than anything, you will be shocked at how prepared and organised your foes are. We have been looking for any excuse to dump your rotting ship, so please give it to us, run wild and burn shiit down, twist Lagos and bend Zamfara with protests. Lolz!

Dude, go on the streets and freely express your "Egyptian" idiocy. Words are cheap (especially after the sepe has cleared from your eyes).

. . .By the way, "Ihejirika na our blood." Swine, let it kill you.

Little bEAF writes like a very disturbed old man playing with feaces. The way he spends every waking hour filled with hate and bigotry but remains committed to his Judas like cause of betraying Nigerians from all corners of our collective commonwealth.

He lies like a hooker two timing her love-vendor and then mixes half truths with bigoted lies.

Even a five year old child knows Nigeria has problems so he uses that like a fecal deflector after he has flung feaces at a ceiling fan.

Nigeria's over bloated bureaucracy is subsidised to the tune of trillions.
Politics / Re: Why Are There No Subsidy Protests In The SE/SS Oil Producing States? by VoodooDoll(m): 10:32pm On Jan 03, 2012
It is all good. Nigeria only progresses when the multitude of progressives in Lagos demand change.

As I said before: Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin.

Let those political and military elite (and their pysophants) r@ping Nigerians know that their day in the sun is coming to an end. The handwriting is for them.
Politics / Re: Why Are There No Subsidy Protests In The SE/SS Oil Producing States? by VoodooDoll(m): 9:53pm On Jan 03, 2012
Gbawe, my brother it seems NL has a lot of people who missed out on history lessons.

It was Azikwe that insisted on One Nigeria;
It was Azikwe that first interfered with a zone, the SW; and
It was Ironsi that dissolved the zones and created the environment that led to a harlot centralised system.

These were the foundations for the bast*rd system we have in place yet some castrated clowns will sit here and talk trash.

The progressives in the SE and the SS do not talk like these pathetic jokers.

Those who have solid minerals would like to exploit them but the corrupt and pathetic PDP system in control at the centre corrupts everything and frustrates everyone.

Which is why I get amazed when ignorant people speak foolishly.

People keep insulting the North not knowing the region is awash with treaures: How many people know that Niger state is awash in gold and rare metals?

The SW is self-sustaining and produces more oil than it needs, and used Agriculture to build Lagos.

I repeat:  Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin. The old ways of ruling Nigeria have been found wanting and their days are short.

Why is there the threat of violence or even exile.

There are constitutional ways to give feedback to him, including protesting, National Assembly acts, etc.

The taxpaying masses must be the people that challenge unfair policies not some faceless terrorist groups or bunch of maniacal soldiers.

If he indeed said it, then he is truly an eeediiooooottt that doesn't deserve to be paid with tax payers money. Especially if he holds those tax payers in such little regard.

But, it was just one man that may have said this and not the Supreme Court.
Politics / Re: Damn! Who Are The Owners Of Nigeria That Are Plotting The Ironsi Route? by VoodooDoll(m): 8:56am On Jan 03, 2012
This thread is just demented.

BEAF, so instead of continuing your unending love for geJ you now want to insinuate that Boko Haram is being sponsored by Yorubas?

Dude, if you and GEJ supporters are planning a genocide as the thrust of some of the pro-GEJ posts are beginning to sound like you will be truly shocked. Every day there is a new thread by some tribal midget shouting from the top of a two inch stool while the military and political elite continue to "r@pe" Nigerians.

These midgets pretend like as if GEJ didn't sweep the SW polls and as if all Nigerians do not have the right to give GEJ feedback for an unpopular policy.

If anything happens to our President GEJ and our democracy, the blame lies on the neck of pathetic GEJ apologists who run to the dark corners of tribalism at each opportunity.
Politics / Re: Fuel Subsidy Savings? Govt explains how the "savings" will be spent. by VoodooDoll(m): 2:13am On Jan 03, 2012
I'm yet to get a simple explanation on what comprises the fuel subsidy.

Most of the stuff I read has a hint of conspiracy theory to it. Even Pat Utomi has kicked off on twitter and Facebook but still no clear explanation.

The doc attached above is at best an outer layer for a Suya cover.
Politics / Re: Fuel Subsidy Savings? Govt explains how the "savings" will be spent. by VoodooDoll(m): 1:15am On Jan 03, 2012
Tis Voodoo economics  grin cheesy cheesy grin .

Projects that should have been met by the annual budgets are now magically subsidy projects.

Benin-Ore road, Abuja light rail etc are all included. I shall reserve my comments for now but it's voodoo economics.

There is soo much sharing going on and very little info on palliatives and shock absorbers.
Politics / Re: Fuel Subsidy Savings? Govt explains how the "savings" will be spent. by VoodooDoll(m): 12:18am On Jan 03, 2012
Total annual "savings"= N1,134bn

Beneficiaries are
FG: N478bn
States: N411bn
LGA: N203bn
Other: N42b
Total:N1,134bn

The reports lists out various projects, but I'm uncertain if these projects haven't already been accounted for and budgeted elsewhere.

Yes, Nigeria should be secular and religion should be between a "man or woman" and their "G"od whatever shape it may come in. Im a Christian myself but have family in Islam and other so I agree with that.

Apologies for jumping the gun, just soo many posters taking a slant or bias that just divides us.

I think we should go back to a regional structure and the Oil producing regions and other regions receive 100% of their revenue which they can then choose to do whatever with.
Politics / Re: Silencing Beaf And Company by VoodooDoll(m): 9:40pm On Jan 02, 2012
@ Frosbel

I see you've corrected it from OBJ and Shagari ruling 8 years apiece to ruling 12 years in total. However 12 years in total is still wrong. These facts are easily verifiable, by the way OBj and Shagari are both PDP stalwarts and OBJ is GEj's godfather or capo di tutti capo.
Politics / Re: B Haram Saga; The Real Truth About Islam.(quoted Facts From Ancient History) by VoodooDoll(m): 9:26pm On Jan 02, 2012
Are you equating the whole of Northern Nigeria and all Moslems in Nigeria to historical Islam?

Articles like this do not really help us in Nigeria oh. Just more divide and conquer. Boko Haram does not speak for all Moslems and certainly does not speak for all Northrrn Nigerians. Maybe some selected elite but not all.

I think we need to be careful when we post articles dehumanising fellow Nigerians.

Take is easy bro.

People are annoyed as their savings have been quashed and salaries rubbished and so "the polity is heated".

I do apologise for extrapolating from that one mistake to question your nationality. It was done in an intentionally "dismissive" way to highlight how Nigerians are feeling about GEj's dismissive attitude to fuel subsidy removal.

Pele for the insinuation, but subsidy removal argument needs some tact.

Politics / Re: Fuel Subsidy And Exchange Rate by VoodooDoll(m): 1:59pm On Jan 02, 2012
The govt has not closed a source of high demand.

The "cabal" will still demand their pound in flesh. It is just that "we the people" will pay instead of via the Govt. Imported oil will still be paid for in US$. If our refineries are fixed or demand for imported oil falls then the impact would be lessened.
Politics / Re: Fuel Subsidy And Exchange Rate by VoodooDoll(m): 1:14pm On Jan 02, 2012
@Wesley

Exactly on point. You cannot use secondary school or undergrad textbk when real world prices are determined by real world market factors.

Along the supply chain you have production inputs, manufacturer inputs and retailer inputs - all dependent on fuel.

You then add in the fuel input costs of middlemen - many in Nigeria and then take account of "corruption" cost of doing business and this gives a huge upward pressure on prices.

But economics is not an exact science so the best way to find out is by 20-20 hindsight.  Let's call up this thread again in July and see where FX is, assuming GEJ doesn't blink and leaves everything the way it is today.
Politics / Re: Fuel Subsidy And Exchange Rate by VoodooDoll(m): 12:52pm On Jan 02, 2012
Fuel and the cost of petrol is a huge price driver in Nigeria. Historically prices have jumped following an increase in petrol prices.

PDP is using Nigeria as an economics experiment. If factors and actions remain as they are today please call up this thread in July 2012 and let's see where the exchange rate is then.
