I wanted to be a mechanical engineer. Ended up studying computer science. Now I’m a freelance writer earning what most mechanical engineers don’t earn a month. The only thing I don’t like about what I do is that I get to stay at home all week working from home. Quite boring.

You need to state which bank is paying 30k as monthly salary so we can sue such bank. Anyway salary below 80k in a bank should not be accepted. As for the Fintech job, 50k is quite ok if you’re a fresher without any experience.

Madam your husband has traveled out, that means you’ll be alone if his sister leaves. Do you want to be all alone in the house? Won’t you feel bored and lonely? You should even be happy that you’ve someone to talk to at home. Try to make her your friend and tell her to assist you with house chores. Bring her close to you just like your sister. Any guy that allows his girlfriend to be going on dates with other guys is not man enough. A girl that goes on dates with other guys when she’s in a relationship is simply disrespecting her boyfriend and probably doesn’t love him. @Poster, I know you’re just trying to wine people and you have succeeded. Go to Berger under bridge in Lagos where they sell cars and price that car. That car is almost 4million now. If you were a big boy like you calm you shouldn’t be waiting for your brother to buy you a car.

Oga you deserved to be insulted seriously. At forty something a woman is still using you to play like a toy. I hate it when men give the excuse of love to be foolish. @ poster, this is my advice for you. I will advice you to tell the new company to reduce the one year that you must work with them to 6 months. If they agree, you should go with the new job since what you really care about is to upgrade your C.V. After six months, you can start looking for another job. The salary in either your current job or the new job is too small to achieve anything meaningful in your life.

You haven’t found a permanent solution to her problem and you’re planning marriage. I pity you sha. I don’t know why some guys don’t have common sense. If you can’t deal with the issue at hand now when you’re still dating don’t you know it will get worse when you get married. Maybe you think women change in marriage.

I see a lot of people saying they earn 7k-20k as a teacher. People should stop downgrading teachers abeg. My wife earns 125k as salary as a teacher and with lessons she earn all together 300k. Just look for schools that pays well and be hard working.

It is very important that a woman should have a source of income, especially in marriage. It help saves a lot in unforeseen circumstances. My wife is a working class woman and combining forces together with her has made us achieve a lot in a little time. A woman should have a source of income for herself in times of needs. I and my siblings were raised by my mother alone. Imagine if she didn’t had anything doing. No man respects a woman that’s not productive for long. There will come a time that the man will which his wife was working. There’s this pride that a man feels knowing that his wife his a working class lady. Not every working class lady is not submissive to her husband and not every stay at home wife is submissive to her husband. A woman that is good is good whether she’s working or not and a bad woman is bad whether she’s working or not.

I can see most people are against the OP that he was rude to his director bla bla bla. He who wear the shoes know where exactly it pinches. You’re in the comfort of your home or probably you’re paid your salary on time which is why you’re saying whatever you’re saying. How can someone work for 4 months and he hasn’t been paid?? That is as good as not working. Imagine the money he has spent on transportation and feeding for those 4 months. How can such person be happy in such establishment?? You can’t use someone for a whole 4 months without pay and expect the person to be happy. I know the OP talked rudely to his boss because he is not happy and probably tired of that place but he has to remain there because he’s expected to go to work. People should put theirselves in this OP shoes and understand where he’s coming from.

As for employers, if you know you can’t pay your employees their salaries on time pls don’t employ them. You can’t enslave people and make their lives harder because they want to earn a living by working in your establishment.

I entered bike yesterday, the bike didn’t carry me for more than 30mins and I paid the guy 1,300 naira. Just imagine how much that guy can make a day. Any job paying you less than 80k a month is not a job that can sustain you as a man. If you’re not a proud person, I’ll advice you to focus on the bike work. Imagine, you’re making 3k for just 3 hours while you school is paying you 1k for 7hours or more. I will advice you to leave the school and focus on your bike work if your aim is to make more money. But if you want to be dressing formally and looking nice upon small chicken change you can continue with your teacher job.

I totally understand what you’re saying. Mine is coming up by mid Dec. The more you spend money, the more there are things you still need to spend money on. Thank God I have a supportive woman that’s making it a bit easy.

When people are saying you can manage money for wedding don’t believe it o. There are a lot of things you must do and can’t change their prices. For example, you must buy at least a bag of rice, you must buy meat, you must buy clothes for the traditional and the white wedding, you must buy shoes, the woman must do make up, and the list goes on and on.

There was a situation that occurred between me and my mom. My mom is someone that never agree that she’s wrong even when she’s wrong.

Oga call your bank and report the case. They withdrew money from your bank 1,2,3 times and you still didn’t think to find a lasting solution. Maybe you have too much money in your bank account. Until they clear out everything before you will know the right thing to do.

Bro, nobody may understand you but I totally understand where you’re coming from. You’re angry because you kept yourself while your wife was busy having sex with different guys and enjoying herself. You feel cheated by your wife. This is why before marriage, you need to look into the past life of the woman you want to marry to know if you can deal with it. If you had married a virgin you won’t be feeling this way.

Now, there’s nothing you can do about this. You’re already married to your wife and I guess she’s a good woman to you. As a girl, if you have more than 5 body counts and you’re not up to 30 years, you should be ashamed of yourself. Whether we like it or not, there is no dignity in immortality, especially from the part of females. Even the bible places emphases on females than males when it comes to sexuality and morality. A woman should respect her body and guide it with all jealousy but it is the reverse we see these days. Girls no longer regard their bodies as anything. Apart from giving their bodies out to the highest bidder like a plate of meat, they show their private parts to the public with ease.

Now, if as a man you marries a woman with more than 5 bodies counts, you should be ashamed of yourself. It is your duty as a man to ensure that your children gets the best mother. Your children should be very proud of their mother just as you should. Men who married virgins are proud to say it anywhere they’re but I have never seen a man that married a woman with multiple body counts proud to say it out in public.

I already decided never to marry a woman with more than 2 body counts but thank God that I met my wife a virgin and I’m very proud of her. We all may deceive ourselves that it doesn’t matter but we know the truth in our hearts. Marrying a woman who is virgin and with good character is the best thing you can ever do for yourself and your children.

Note: If you want to marry a woman with 40 body counts or a retired prostitute, be ready to take whatever comes out of it. No complain later.

1. You don’t love your husband. Maybe you married him because your ex was no longer available and you just wanted to get married.

2. You’re not trying to love your husband because you’re still hung up in the love of your ex.

3. Your husband knows that you don’t love him and he’s find solace outside.

4. Your husband probably don’t love you as well.

5. The two of you are not ready to make your marriage work.

With all these I have said, there’s only two things you both can do. It’s either the two of you sit down and talk about everything bothering you both and how to make the marriage work or you seek for a divorce and go leave the life you want. You don’t have to cheat when you’re still married to your husband, regardless of who you’re planning to cheat with.

@ Poster, this your ordeal is very sympathetic. How can a graduate with 2:1 be washing clothes in an hotel with your hands talk more of washing shits and menstrual blood. Your job is irritating to say the least. The way some of these employers subjects their employees to dehumanising jobs is just so devilish.

The truth is there are many opportunities out there but most of our problem is information. There are lots of jobs you can do online as a freelancer and you will be paid more than 50k without stress. I’m into freelancing, I haven’t work for any company since I graduated. What I earn every month without stress, I can confidently tell you that most managers don’t earn it in Nigeria. I even have some people working for me which I’m paying. They earn far more than what you’re earning. I haven’t seen them before but we communicate sorely online. This is to tell you that there are opportunities online.

Stop this your slavery job immediately. This is no job, it is pure slavery. Also, search for teaching jobs, teaching is far better than what you’re doing now. As a teacher you have opportunities to meet parents and start private lessons. I wonder what you can do with 15k in a month because I spend more than 60k in a month for food and other house expenses.

Stop this your work immediately and get useful for yourself. Don’t let anyone use you as a slave all in the name of a job.

I don’t understand why people will carry this Churchill guy matter on their head like gala. People should allow this guy rest and have his peace. If you know what is good for you don’t recommend your ex to the same place you’re working. If it were another office, you can do that but bringing her to the same office you work is very dangerous. Many things can go wrong and you could be sacked at the end.

If your ex loved you enough, she won’t leave you for no good reason in the first place. Your ex won’t even think about you if she was in your position. Let’s assume she finally come to your office, have you think that she can start dating your boss and tell your boss that you two had something before. Your boss could get jealous and sack you for no good reason.

Be wise and be careful not to put yourself in trouble while trying to be a good guy.

If a woman is divorced, she’s not supposed to bear her ex-husband’s name anymore. A woman get’s her ex-husband’s name because he’s married to him. When they’re no longer married, she’s supposed to drop the name. Legally, a woman is a Mrs only when she’s married. If she’s not married anymore, it is not legal to bear Mrs. The children can still bear the man’s name because they’re his children. Any woman that wants to continue bearing her ex-husband’s name shouldn’t have divorced him in the first place.

Personally, I’m a quiet person but I can categorically say that being quiet is not weakness. Infact being quiet is a sign of strength for me because people don’t know what’s in my mind. I don’t take shit from people and I can change it for anyone who try or intrude on my right in a matter of seconds.

Most people are surprised when they see me react sometimes because I can react from 0 to 100 in a matter of seconds.

You shouldn’t quit unless you have some other thing fetching you money already. Driving is not difficult. I learnt how to drive in a day. You can perfectly learn how to drive while still working.

You earn 85k per month, that is fair enough. I know some family men that earns 40k and they’re still living. How many children do you have? How do you spend your money?

You should spend according to what you earn. I do spend about 20k a month before when I was earning less, but now I spend over 50k a month as my earnings grew higher. You spend according to your earnings. Don’t see other neighbours spending so much on their children and try to be like them. You don’t know what they earn in a month.

Plan well and you will manage fine. Don’t take a car on hire purchase because it will be difficult for you to pay up the car. You will need to pay 2 times the worth of a car if you take it on hire purchase unless you see a really good person that wants to sell on hire purchase without doubling the amount for the car.

Also, ensure your wife is working to assist you. Only you can’t do it alone.
