hayqinsbFX: If you're going for a masters, you're 80percent close to your TRV already.... It is well... Brother, please, before typing bear in mind that hundreds if not thousands are reading your posts, so dont make it sound like the canadian embassy is biased diploma, PGD and grad certificate applicants are treated the same way master degree applicants are treated. Just package well |

hayqinsbFX: See....dont be skeptical... Ask for refund!
And take ur time... Get a PGD! The confidence i have is, I have three colleagues who all applied as b.Sc holders and got a visa to pursue advanced diploma(co-op). That's the only encouragement I have, I will go ahead, if it bounces back, I apply for a pgd... |

standupguy: Bro but I have explained this thing na, Let me break it down again.
For technical students, Under graduate diploma =1-2 yrs, earns you technician Under graduate advanced diploma= 3yrs, earns technologist. PGD Advanced diploma=2yrs, earns you technologist. Post graduate certificate PGC= 1-2yrs(mostly one year or 3 semesters), earns you Graduate certificate.
B.sc/b.Eng etc = 4yrs (awarded by universities only)
M.sc/M.Eng= 2yrs (awarded by universities too).
If you already have a Bsc you should avoid the first two. Men i am very scared now o, i have paid the full tuition, although i haven't applied for a visa, would do that next week, but with this info coming, i'm already skeptical. |

Proteus, multi sim are simulation packages, you can use it to simulate your design before actual implementation, it gives an the designer an overview of the project, his possible challenges, a designer might also use these packages to experiment without actually buying any component. In a project report we have 5 chapters, but it varies by institution, every institution has her structure of writing a project report. C is a language of its own, we use it to program microcontrollers, there is no language involved in C, but to grab C fully, u should have basics of programming...if u have any further questions let me know |

Morning house, I'm an electrical engineering graduate, I'm gunning for MUN, but don't have a very fine cgpa, so I'm trying to make a fail safe. I need clarification on somethings. In UK, I think, when your cgpa is not up to the accepted grade, you go for a "pre-masters" before you start masters. Please, what is the canadian equivalent of a "pre-master" programme? And is the PGD an upgrade to the university degree I already have . I will appreciate examples of schools too. Thank you |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by wayaa007(m): 12:34pm On May 16, 2015 |
mevisbleek: I bring you honest opinion sir. I would advise that you churn out a well crafted letter of intent detailing your career goal (Long and short term), academic goal, why the program etc (you should also use this LOI to exhibit your writing skill and strong command of English) and all those good stuff. You will need to design an extremely professional resume, if you do not have enough experience you can just show your NYSC experience coupled with some Volunteer experience. Also, if you are really passionate about the program I also suggest you write GRE and try very hard to spank it (if you do spank it you can include in the letter that ur undergrad was low but it was not a true test of ur intelligence). I advised about the GRE cos that what I did. I wrote GMAT, scored over 700 (in my LOI I said to the admin officer "IN YOUR FACE" . Upon admission I was told by the officer that I got in cos I scored pretty high in GMAT.
You gonna be just fine :-). Thanks a lot, will do just so |

Hello house, I've been a silent follower of this thread and I must say, its highly educative. I wish to ask the General house a question, I wish to apply for a master degree in electrical electronics at MUN, I've been told by the admission office that my CGPA range is very acceptable (3.36/5.0), but that a strong application is required. For someone like me who has no Work experience, do you think, a Toefl + A good motivation letter and Resume will be strong enough, please I need honest opinions. |
