spyder880:Do these ceilings have recesses where light bulbs can be installed, such that you can see the light without seeing the bulb itself? That would be a classy touch. |
BeLookingIDIOT:Pilot is not a Jew! He is Ethiopian. His facial structure is enough to relay that fact, much less the name. |
omega2128:Quite so. But then, there was nothing wrong with older 737 models that have proven themselves over the years. Technology is complex because the aircraft manufacturer (and manufacturers in other fields) make them so. This complexity shouldn't be at the risk to human lives. |
Lexusgs430:Let's take it a step further. Why fix something that was never broken? Good that the bigger engine is more fuel efficient (by 14%) but if placing the engine means a potential safety hazard, why go ahead with it? The real answer? Money! This is the reason why auto makers roll out newer models that are shit compared with older models. Take the popular Camry for instance. The early to late 90s models have engines that are awesomely robust and simple. But because the company has to make future sales, they will discontinue producing those older engines as well as their spare parts, so that in future, you'll have to discard them for newer models. This is basically same thing Boeing did. The new engine displaced the aircraft's center of gravity, and will cause the plane to stall. To counter this, a complex software which could cause a further malfunction was installed. It did malfunction, and its complexity (and certainly obscurity-because it seem the pilots aren't even aware of it) has claimed hundreds of lives. Anyone might defend the manufacturer. But think about this for a moment: would that same person be quick to defend them if his or her family had perished in those flights? |
LoveMachine:Ask yourself this too: If Kano people didn't want Ganduje, do you believe they overwhelming voted for Buhari who endorsed him? Even though Buhari and Ganduje are two different personalities, with the way Buhari backed Ganduje after all those bribery videos, the myth of sainthood surrounding him would be rubbished. You can't accept one and pardon the other. Food for thought. |
IntrovertedK:I say amen to that. As you know, hindsight is 20/20. If he had an inkling of the sort of people he wanted to share a nation with, if he realized that they would prefer living like relics of the stone age; barbaric, unenlightened, religious fanatics and abhors any sort of progress, he would have made a different decision. But then, how long shall we keep dwelling on the past, seeing that the decisions we make in the present is what's going to shape up our future? The founding fathers failed. We mustn't let that dog our footsteps and displace our stride to a better future. This trend of Yorubas saying they distrust Igbos simply because the latter decides not to be dictated to is plain ludicrous. The two main contenders in today's gubernatorial election are Yorubas. How does voting for one and not the other make the Igbo man a villain? |
naijaguy123456:May thunder dispatch your entire lineage for this blatant lie. For your information, it was the late Prof Dora Akunyili that reprimanded the people backing late Yar Adua and his wife to do the right thing and relinquish power to GEJ who was the right successor then. You brainless leprechaun failed to mention what Yoruba had the tiniest moral or guts to say the truth in the face of that oppression. As for your other claims, I cannot dignify them with rebuttals. If you can't support any allegations of the Igbos crime against Yorubas with verifiable documents, then be forever silenced. Yes, Nnamdi Kanu organized a rally for Abacha. Dude was hustling for his own pocket. He was roundly condemned by the Igbo nation. Where is he today? Aren't you ashamed that all the people you mentioned killed were victims of your Northern master who you cannot stop licking their asses? There may have been fewer Igbo casualties that period because you lots gladly jump into every alliance with the north, whom the Igbos have wisely learned to avoid. Are Igbos supposed to make enemies of Yorubas because there were few Yoruba casualties during the civil war? Very good. Yorubas fought for this democracy, but Igbos fought to have a nation where every region will take care of, and be in charge of their destiny and future. If you guys had done the right thing, your Oduduwa Republic would have celebrated it's 50th independence at least. You lots will rather have a fake "one Nigeria" where nothing works. We are in this together o. You want one Nigeria, yet you're asking Igbos to play second fiddle or become outcasts in it? No Igbo needs your trust. Take your trust and shove it up your ass. An Igbo will soon buy up your ancestral property and make you a gateman on it Oniranu. Awọn ọmọ alailẹkọ, aláìní itiju. |
PassiveNaira:Yeah You got a point. But then, did you notice that SR did not mention what research work the Prof plagiarized? With such a weighty accusation, the least it should have done was mention the paper the Prof illegally lifted from other people's sweat. What shoddy reporting. |
![]() We've been seeing this sort of intellectual theft become the hallmark of this present govt. They just can't put in a honest effort to be original. Though SR didn't mention what paper it was that the Prof plagiarized. |
He said he will not fail Nigeria AGAIN if elected for a second term. He failed in 1983, he failed since 2015...and suddenly, he wants to wake up in 2019? You must be a clown, sir. Means he acknowledged he's a failure. Yet his brain dead vuvuzelas keep shouting "sai baba!" even in the face of his horrifying ineptitude. Is it now that he has nothing else to prove or achieve since he can't seek another reelection that he will be motivated to work harder? ![]() Well, the bulk of his fans have zero expectation other than see him occupy Aso Rock. The only people who would be disappointed are those who actually expect you to do something half tangible within the next 4 years. I'm not one of them. |
lilmax:Bruh! If you witness just half the things these rich Arab dudes do to girls here, you'd stay celibate for the rest of your life, I swear ![]() |
Durhleepee:I feel you, dear ![]() He's rich too. You can have him. All I want is his cash! ![]() |
swagifted:Baseless premise. He didn't open the van. So, your argument is null. Na for your village dem dey use bullion van transport pepper and tomato? ![]() |
Paperwhite:You forgot to add the incident at Murtala Mohammed international airport, where a small plane meant to convey bags of money couldn't take off. One of the bags got damaged and spilled it's content: bales of cash. This was also days before the election. APC officials were escorting the money. ![]() |
tsinzu:See, that's the sad thing with this country. No justice. If that woman that bought her from her abductor is rich enough, she would just bribe her way through it. Initial reports said she is not disclosing who sold the child to her. If she pays the police and give Ikimot's guardian some bundles of naira notes to pacify her, then the case dies off. Ikimot's people will just be happy she has returned. Any money would be seen as additional bonus to go into the child's education. Just another day in the jungle. |
donstan18:Take a chill pill. Haba! You're being so judgemental when you have no frigging idea of the preceding events that occurred before this film. Obviously, this cannot be the first time such altercation occurred between these two. I believe the husband had to film it as proof either against his wife or mother (whichever one is the aggressor) An incessant fight which the husband's or wife's relatives are doubtful of has been probably going on for sometime, and the man would have filmed this episode to show his in-laws or his own family what has been happening. This cannot be a first fight and it gets filmed. No way. There's more to it. |
Mynd44:Where does it say that the girl is an employee? The only reference to that was made by the poster who does not know the girl. The one who knows the girl never described her with that word. Even though the topic referred to the girl as house help, her guardian's sister did not give any hint as to that. She described her as "the girl staying with her sister". Can you see the disconnect now? The poster added a bit of sauce and seasoning to spice it up. You got swayed by blogger who depends on making sensation out of ordinary issues for a living. |
Doesn't sound good. This is ominous. Just hoping no further skirmishes happen around there, else the death toll is gonna be horrid. Tensions from the presidential election is still in the air. |
gottliebglobal:Great and exciting venture, bro. I need to ask for more clarification over your statement up there. Did you just scout out a land and commence digging the pond, or you actually bought the land? Also, how close is this location from residences? I'm thinking about the security aspect. |
Chekitaut:I see. Thanks for the feedback |
Chekitaut:Curious as to the advice to not buy head pan. Why is this, please? |
Biodun556:Very silly analogy. Suffer heads with insomnia came to form a line by 2am and we should clap for them? I see that you have suffered to much under this administration that taking things easy is now alien to you. Let them keep standing for 6 hours before voting commences. Suffering is their birthright. ![]() I hope you and them also went along with potty to defecate and pee while queuing up when nature calls? |
![]() Why won't he prove stubborn? They own the country. If an average southerner had been spotted with a single dane gun, he would have been shot at sight before any investigation. I wage my next paycheck this man will be walking freely in the next few hours. Higher powers sent him on a mission to shoot and intimidate anyone seen showing love to an umbrella at the polls today. Only thing is, he didn't bother to wear a military uniform. |
Satan66:Huh The bolded is exactly what Bihari wants. Make more people in the country illiterate. Enlightened folks would never deign to repeat the error of 2015. You said its the poor street folks that will vote for him? Seem you don't know its these poor folks that have borne the brunt of Buhari's maladministration. It's mostly those up north who cannot reason beyond religious and ethnic sentiments in the face of their sufferings that would still like up behind APC today |
![]() Its only your vote that will decide the outcome, right? Olodo president. Second time we had a president that makes me ashamed to be identified as a Nigerian. |
funshint: ![]() I tell you. Was thinking the writer was about to equate it with what's happening in naija At the moment. |
Techkidz:Stop being silly. That the pics were sent to your WhatsApp group means the news and pictures depicts same incident, and therefore authentic? That first pic of a burning man is over 5 years old. Stop peddling false news. |
AmadiAba:Thought you were aiming to add photos of the incident in which Imo and Owerri were placed in a huge pot of boiling water...or did you forget? ![]() Breaking? What broke? The stove to boil the water? |
AlhajiYoung:What's graphic about the pictures you uploaded? Where are the pictures of the victims buried in a ditch in your report? Do you even know what "graphic" implies? |
NOETHNICITY:Think about this: The main thing that separates humans from animals is dignity. If you call yourself a modern man and not an animal, you will dignify one of the basest things you do, which is defecation. Animals will defecate anywhere. They will do it in the open, in the bush, by the roadside. You name it...and they don't have to wipe or wash their ass afterwards. A dignified human being will provide a decent toilet for himself, especially in public places. So that when nature calls while you are in a public place, you do not have to become an animal and defecate in a nearby bush, or gutter, or roadside, or uncompleted building. You also provide steady water to wash and clean after the deed is done. Its called civilization. Are you civilized, or just another Bushman? |
![]() So, the grasscutter will have his day in court, just to make it look like we are "pithing kwarruotion" ....few days to election. Na so. Damage control. Awọn oniranu! |
