babythug:Looks like its too close to the wall, doesn't it? Would affect it's growth. The root will be in perpetual battle with the wall too ![]() |
davodyguy:True. Politicians do insult each other. However, the simple question Reno asked was, how many of his northern brethren has Buhari insulted? Also true that OBJ does insult other politicians. This still boils down to the same question: How many northern politicians insult their own the way we do down south? Yet we claim to be more civilized and sophisticated than them. As Reno rightly observed; no northerner would insult his tribesman over a southern politician. Think about it. Emm...what brought Mr Trump into this? |
Abagworo: ![]() Of course, for your sanity as well as continuation of your stipends, Uche Nwosu needs to become the next governor. Just take it easy for your mental health. Governments come and go, and life must go on, irrespective of whoever becomes governor. |
EdidemOluomo:Obviously, you have seen several streets in Lagos with Igbo names, right? Now one question: Did the LGA authority decide to just give those street Igbo names? Of course not. The name arose from the interested person who performed the necessary process/payment to have the street named after him/her. The person could be from any tribe. On the other hand, there are few Yorubas who live in the SE compared with Igbos in the SW. Somebody mentioned Adelabu street in Umuahia, the capital of Abia State. I have actually been to that street before. Was mildly surprised when I saw it. I didn't enquire as to the origin of the name, though. I have also seen Hausa and many non-Igbo street names in the SE. Bottom line, Igbos move around a lot. They aren't timid in regions outside theirs. They assimilate easily. |

Hardrive:Are you serious? ![]() No court would give him time of day on this case. The nitwit is just pissed he wasn't born into a wealthy family. If his parents were wealthy, this silly thought would've never occurred to him. In fact, he'd be grateful to be born into such a family without his permission. |
spyder880:The amount? I don't see any amount o! ![]() |
![]() ''Some people said I should write a bok. I don't think I will ever write a book because I don't want to hurt anybody. Hurting in the sense that there are certain people that I cannot resist abusing. Saying that this dinosaur could churn out anything worth reading would be the greatest compliment anyone could pay him. He's not even enlightened enough to know that he doesn't need to use abusive words for anyone. He has never written a book while his faculties were intact. Na now him wan begin write am, abi? ![]() Funny alhaji. We saw the abusive words OBJ used to describe Atiku, and the both of them haven't slaughtered each other. So, what is it that crude, unlettered PMB could dish out, apart from quran recital? With his fast progressing dementia, I doubt he would be able to remember his own name in the next few years. |
MJBOLT:Just to update you about this incident. The girl in question has been rescued from the people whom she was married to, and she has been reunited with her parents. That's the difference between "your Igbo brothers" and the northerners you compared them with. The topic is on the front page too: https://www.nairaland.com/4999844/15-year-old-chinwe-married-older-man Your Igbo brothers are enlightened, they know what's right in this 21st century, and they take bold steps to correct an injustice. Are you happy now? |
dandy2222:If you had paid for a plot in this estate, kindly ask for your money to get refunded, and I believe Spyder880 will give it back within a few hours of you asking. Who made you an advocate here? Who has complained to you that his money got toyed with? |
MJBOLT:How many Igbos have you seen online who supported this madness? This incident went viral exactly because friends and neighbors around them spoke up against it. Is being antagonistic to people who don't know you even exist a birthright to you? |
okoroemeka:Sounds great. For someone serious about mechanized agriculture on a commercial scale, 100 plots isn't outrageous. This is less than 20 acres. I'm looking for between 10 to 20 plots. |

okoroemeka:Nice. How's farmland prices in Okigwe? Any ideas? |
spyder880:I knew there's got to be a story behind that parapet. Nice job! ![]() |
spyder880:I love the appearance of the parapet. It's a departure from the usual curved style. This gives it a contemporary look. Is the shape your idea? |
spyder880:What's your preferred type of wood for roofing. Do you always treat with chemicals like solignum for terminates? |
MobilityExpress:Doesn't matter. The wealthiest world economies today have zero natural resources. Diamond is one of the most expensive naturally occurring resource in the world. With it's vast diamond deposit, where is Sierra Leone today? If it wasn't for the whites/Dutch settlers in South Africa that retained a near monopoly of it's diamond deposits, that country would have long gone to the dogs. With the way the Niger Delta is, I pray may no mineral deposits be found in my community. Black Africa has demonstrated that it isn't capable of self rule, self advancement. Let all the precious resources of the world be situated in Northern Nigeria, and that region would remain as poor and as backward as ever. If you do not develop your human capital, then no amount of natural deposits will help you. What's more, El-Rufai and his northern compatriots keep saying Northern Nigeria will benefit more than other regions if exclusive restructure is done. The question to be asked it, why has the north been against it? Everyone knows that north is scared of restructure or break-up. The parasite cannot survive without it's host. Southern Nigeria has been the host. Not that the north cannot advance itself if they are willing. But then compare it with Chad and Niger republic. Sorry to tell you that North will be worse off than those two countries (their rightful compatriots) when they separate from the rest of the country, because their feeding bottle (oil from the south) will be no more. What's more, oil has made folks on the Niger Delta become so horrifyingly lazy. Why do they (north) fight tooth and nail to keep the country in the shitty mess it is, if restructuring will turn their region to Utopia? Let them keep kidding themselves. The break-up of the country will definitely happen. It's a matter of time. There's no escaping it. |
![]() Oh yeah, sure. We have seen the prompt attention given to the evidences produced against "grasscutter" Lawal, against Gandollar, against Kemi Adeosun who was escorted into exile, instead of facing prosecution, against Osinbanjo who supervised billion naira rice scam, against your son in-law over the border agency contracts, against the millions in hard currency stashed by the NIA boss in the Ikoyi apartment, against Obono Obla and his forges results....the list goes on and on. You are still asking for more, abi? ![]() |
happybrother:That's great bro! Will follow up on your updates about it. I'm certainly going to buy. |
Hmmm. The thing is, tribalism has always been a factor in Nigerian politics, and the populace has always tried to downplay it to some extent. However, with the coming of this dinosaur president we have now, tribalism has taken the first and prominent place in politics. Almost every political discuss and manoeuvre nowadays needs to be viewed from a tribal prism, because that's what the illiterate dictator considers first and foremost before he takes any action. Buhari is so unapologetic in his narrow mindedness and archaic views that everyone is now being forced to talk and act along tribal lines, without feeling any embarrassment over it. |
![]() This bunch of silly fools. Nothing this oily cretins say is worth listening to. |
Jakumo: ![]() The love you got for this dude is out of this world. Wetin Melaye do you sef? |
helinues:Exactly what occurred to me when I saw this. The country is such a joke now, anyone spits every manner of hogwash with the hope to get elected. I don't blame them so much. Majority of the blame goes to the citizens who keep getting less intelligent every passing day. This cretin knows only as much as the average person, nothing more. Just play on the emotions and hope to ride to Aso rock on it. We have a prehistoric dinosaur as president who promised to "lead from the front" to wipe out boko haram. Now, he couldn't even lead from the front to campaign for his own reelection. |
2 or 3 months ago, a topic on the front page discussed about the emerging trend of frequent gas cylinder explosion. I mentioned then that the major cause is almost zero regulation of gas cylinders. Every manner of substandard gas tanks have found their way into the market and home. Even local wielders are fabricating gas cylinders without the specified metal alloy or quality. Sorry to say that this is just the beginning. More explosions await many of us in 2019. I'm not being pessimistic. Just the reality on ground. We don't have a government. These are basic things that government ought to have regulated from the beginning, but it didn't. Until one senator's or governor's family perish in a domestic gas explosion, this issue will never get the required attention. |
There is this theory I'm working on.... I kind of believe that all these guys working for Buhari have been charmed. I think whenever they visit Bubu in his office/shrine, his babalawo unleashes a portent jazz that hypnotises them to make them support Bubu with every manner of ridiculous lies. After Joe Igbokwe had been caught several times with posting fake pictures, one would think he would put a stop to it....but NO! The old fool keeps at it. Isn't this sorcery at work? It's just beyond every sense of rationality. |

LLobiorah:Oh, thanks for the info. Much appreciated |
07063637661:One question, pls. When you approach Abakaliki coming from Afikpo, there's a military cantonment to the right. The area opposite this cantonment on the other side of the road, what is the name of that area? I've been to Abakaliki few times, but I don't know much places there. This area I'm describing is newly developing. Would like to know approximate cost of land around there. |
spyder880: This is unforgivable, chairman. One year after you moved in, and there are no trees in the compound! I expected to see some Royal palms, complemented with some fruit trees and flowers. Attend to that, please. |
Jazzkido:How is he "caught" when he took the video himself? He made the video with his own cellphone. You must be such a clairvoyant, to know the guys he's with are broke. Or do you pay their bills? Most of the artistes you adore smoke weed too. |
![]() Silly bunch of mofos. It seems every denizen in this geographic space referred to as Nigeria suffers from an unidentified illness that makes them chase shadows rather than substance. All the Igbo governors haven't succeeded in transforming their states to first world conditions, it is at the national level they would perform such feat, right? Not that their counterparts from other regions are any better. Until all the socio-political and pressure groups in the south adopt and maintain a definite stance about self governance, self determination and forging their own destiny, and confine the devilish 1999 constitution to the dark ages where it rightfully belongs, there is no redemption for this country. Nigeria as constituted is cursed, and no Igbo, Yoruba, Tiv, Ijaw, Urhobo, Ibibio, Itshekiri or any other tribe from the south can do Jack to redeem it. |

THEORETICALLY, Governor El-rufai is right. The North has the highest natural resources more than any other region and has the biggest land size.
