happybrother:I see. Appreciate the feedback. |
happybrother:Wondering if they have improved trees/seedlingsseedlings of ugba (oil bean) ukwa (breadfruit) nkwu and ngwo. Now, I have come to realize that the old ways of nonchalantly dropping the seeds that produce the trees which may or may not get transplanted to a suitable spots aren't working anymore. These items have become scarce and expensive. Been wondering if I can get improved varieties to that I could make small plantations from. Any info about this, please? |
post=70673439:I do believe you vomit in disgust after posting these pitiful ass-licking comments to justify the nigger pennies you get paid. |
CanineOfJackal:Canine of hyena, aren't you the one with your brain in your poophole? You can't read, you can't add 1+1, and you havent a hope in hell of deciphering a simple article. Don't insult people when you are thoroughly deficient. |
![]() As if the average man on the street should lose sleep over it. Their defection, their funeral. |
selemempe:Your post sent a chill down my spine. See, I have never viewed the situation this way. Not saying you are wrong or right, though. Just that what you posted made me view certain situations in the past in a new light, from a different perspective. |
Nationalman:Read your comment again and tell yourself it made so much sense. Is there any living being that is not a "slave" to his brain? The brain controls all your thoughts, words, actions (even inactions) So, telling someone he's a slave to his brain (be it deluded or not) is a lame comment. Look for something better, then try again. |
spyder880:Built by Peugeot? |
spyder880:I've always been intrigued by Asaba and its environs. Have never visited the city before. Only pass by on the expressway when travelling to my village. The only time I spent a night at Isele-Ukwu (about 12 years ago) was a period of mourning, as I lost a dear one from a car crash along that Onitsha-Asaba highway. Nevertheless, I have always wanted to feel Asaba and what its got to offer. Thanks for the exposé you're about to post. |
Cjrane2: ![]() When I read his post, I raised an eyebrow too. Normally, it wouldn't have been a bad idea to buy agricultural land in Benue, due to its close proximity to Enugu. But, this isn't a normal country. It doesn't even look like it would assume some semblance of normality in the next few decades. No sir. If you are looking to buy some plots for agricultural purpose, then you needn't go outside the SE. Yes, there are cheap lands in many parts of Ebonyi. There are agric lands looking for buyers in Ohaji Egbema, Mgbidi (Imo) in Dunukofia, Igbariam (Anambra) and even in Umunede, and many parts of Oshimili north and south (Delta) Anyone who is serious about agriculture in the SE shouldn't give availability of farmland as an excuse (unless of course, you haven't got enough money to purchase lands) You will definitely get farm plots from N150k upwards. Do your due diligence. Be strategic in your search, having it in mind to buy in places that would witness development in the next 10 to 15 years, such that if you become disenchanted with being a farmer, then you're already sitting on a valuable piece of real estate. See how a lot of real estate companies invaded parts of Ngor Okpala, bought lands on the cheap, and now converting them to residential plots with lowest prices at N1.2m or thereabouts. This development because of the location of Sam Mbakwe airport. If you guys know how parts of Lagos and Ogun states witnessed big appreciation in the value of real estate due to large population influx, then you will realize that there is no bush in the SE! Compared with its population, SE is going to witness a huge surge in real estate prices and lands as more and more of its people are gradually becoming more focused on developing its region. If you think that lands are already expensive there, then wait for a few more years! ![]() So, buy that "bush" in the SE and at worse, plant cassava on it. You will get ready buyers to convert it to garri....while the land waits for you to make up your mind. You will never regret it. |
pyxon:Nobody is going to give you an economic hub. Why would anyone do that? In this present Nigeria, what FG would "give" you the required infrastructures to develop a world class economic hub, unless you fight tooth and nails, sweat blood and tears for it? Ain't gonna happen. Remember, they all claim to hate you, yet they do not want you to leave. So, don't expect them to make it any easier. |
Quite sure more polithiefcians have placed orders to ship more of them into the country against 2019 elections. Nigeria is rumored to have the largest number of bullet proof vehicles on the continent. That's what happens when the bulk of the revenue generated by a country largely ends up in the pockets of thieving politicians and their relatives. They have to protect themselves from real and imaginary enemies their selfishness and gluttony created. On a lighter note, I once read about this Alhaji that acquired an armored sedan. He was on his way to Abuja from Kaduna. Fulani bandits were on a robbing spree along the expressway when Alhaji drove by. As his car approached the robbers' barricade, the crooks let loose a volley of AK-47 slugs at his car. Well, Alhaji's car was armoured, and the bullets didn't stop him. As he drove by the robbers, he had a huge grin on his face. He shouted at them "kai, jamboroba. Mai moto nah bullet-froof!" The robbers motioned to him that they couldn't hear his voice behind the wound up windows of his car. So, to help them hear what he was saying, Alhaji gleefully wound down his window to explain ...and that was the end of Alhaji ![]() |
Nice. What do you mean by male and female bunch/plant? How do you differentiate between the two? |
iammo:Not just Yorubas. This is a trait common among Southerners. Perhaps its due to too much enlightenment, education or western influence. But you know what? In a homogeneous state, such behaviours usually leads to the best hands emerging to handle the affairs of state. In a heterogeneous state such as Nigeria, it is a liability. |
![]() This man and em wife no get shame o! Joining their teenaged son to steal cheap items, and finally topped it by parking the car they stole next door right in front of their house. The hunger torturing them also stole their brain. ![]() |
![]() The rate of suicide in Naija is at an all time high. This one sounds like a fairy tale. |
![]() When Oshiomole was pleading with him last week to stay, he didn't realize that Ortom was a liability then, right? So, if Ortom stayed put in APC, they would have fielded a liability for the next election, right? Listen to these career politicians at your own peril. They got zero integrity, zero consistency, zero conscience. |
Sprumbabafather:Bro, we are saying the same thing. Read my post again. I am saying why the SE has not received as much support from the SS as to be expected. |
Daewang:Look at it this way: SS has been the proverbial goose that has been laying the golden egg. Yes, SE has oil producing areas, too. But SS has over the years churned out the bulk of crude oil which has so far sustained this contraption of a country. During these years, SS has not gotten back a commensurate amount of recognition and compensation for what it has sacrificed. The few times that the FG has tried to close this gap, warlords and local champions from the SS are quick to hijack whatever monetary benefits the government was willing to give for their development. Which is the reason why such criminal gangs and cliques are numerous over there. You need to make a lot of noise and a lot of threats for government to recognize that your clique is a factor to reckon with, and to pose a reasonable threat to crude oil extraction. After which you and your crew get paid as a "compensation" or awarded contracts to secure oil pipelines. When all this happens, the bulk of the natives see it all, and suffer in silence. They are powerless to act. They can't beat the warlords. They'd rather join them, to secure their lives and to feed. In all of this, the FG is the most visible benefactor because it controls the oil money that sustains them. Now, the SE cannot offer the SS what pittance the FG drops for them. So, what allegiance, or cooperation does the SS owe or wishes to have with the SE within such a set up? None. In other words, every geopolitical region crawls with its cap in hand every month, to get its sustainment from the FG. FG is the big brother, just because a flawed political set up has concentrated all power (and money) into its hand. So, at the moment, every region looks out for itself, and look up to the FG. With this set up, the SS does not need the SE. Natural alliance may exist, but it is minimal. Which is the way the FG wants it (the divide and rule tactic) The most plausible time the SS will come out in the open and unilaterally voice out an alliance with the SE is when this contraption breaks down, or at worse, restructuring is done. For the time being, FG calls the shots. This is the reason why FG will NEVER accept to restructure. It would render it near powerless and redundant. Ndigbo have been making the sacrifices you mentioned because a typical Igbo has a deep seated aversion at being cheated. While other tribes may grudgingly accept an unfavourable status quo, the average Igbo will not. Hence, the reason why they are despised. Know that the person who stands for truth and justice within a flawed system will end up having numerous enemies. Also note how the SS has been unstable in their stance. Once the FG fails in "compensating" them for what they owe, they begin making a lot of noise about restructuring or even voicing the emergence of Biafra (Asari Dokubo has done this many times before) Once their "shut up" money is released, then all is well. Its a matter of who finances a junkie's cravings getting the momentary loyalty. |
Lots of red flags here. |
![]() A tragedy that reads like comedy. I mean, if the accidental death of a stranger we read about online could evoke such glee, then you know that a lot is wrong with the system. Well, he got served with a taste of same medicine they'd been dishing out. |
madridguy:You mean the same IG that your hero buhari couldn't touch? ![]() Let's call it what it is. So long as the IG has decided that SARS has no need to be scrapped or reformed, that's it. Your president can't do nada because the IG has got him by the balls. |
WOW! You didn't say what has been your wife's stance over her family's meddling in your marriage. Bro, you do not need an Oracle to tell you that you are in an unhealthy marriage. I don't know if you're really serious about ending the union, but no man can withstand such a horrible marital situation. Your wife and her family have absolutely no respect for you. You're nothing but a meal ticket to them. As for me, I would call it quits if I ever find myself in such an arrangement. Disgusting! |
Abujalal:And you actually believe that Nigeria is a true nation state in the actual sense? You made a woeful assumption when you compared it with America. You are comparing a country with a contraption. Nigeria is not, has never been, and will never be a true state, if the present political configuration it run continues. First all, know that the airline its trying to create is already built on lies and fraud. PMB promised that the presidential fleet of 11 aircrafts will be made the nucleus of a new national carrier if he wins. How far with that? Due to so much criticism that he hasn't fulfilled a single one of his manifesto, he hastily put together this shenanigan to impress undiscerning folks such as you. All because 2019 is around the corner. And guess what? His cousin is the one in charge of the whole process. He's the one who went to meet with Boeing on acquiring aircrafts for the airline. The entire process lacked transparency or any competitive bidding. No, bro. The real question is, when are people like you going to learn? Your government takes you for granted because you don't use your head, but your heart. Ezekwesili fiercely stands for the truth, no matter who is involved. |
![]() Architect Kabiru Ibrahim said Fulani herdsmen aren't responsible for the killings, but he didn't say who is responsible. This asinine comment even after Miyetti Allah has openly admitted to several of these incidents. Also, speaking, national secretary of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), Baba Othman Ngelzarma, said that the association did not indulge in violence. Yes, beheadings, stabbings, macheting, rapings and kidnapping are the non violent strategies you and your people have been using. All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN)...fist time I ever heard of it. Probably another concocted name. Its the norm here. Joke of a country. |
chiomadim:I stopped reading when I got to this part. The "greenish stuff" you referred to is called algae. They are not produced or formed by mosquito larvae. Algae are actually plants (not animals) The green pigment is from chlorophyll. Wondering if its worth reading any further now. Your first point spoiled it. |
Ofodirinwa:Foresight and strategic! Bro, you are very correct. In the last post I made on this thread about 2 days ago, I mentioned how the SE has not benefitted from non ambitious governors without futuristic views. I just hope that these posts and the ideas presented here is getting considered by the right people in power. |
Xander85:This is what most non Igbos outside the SE find hard to comprehend. Igbos mostly have this innate drive to make their vicinity look decent. They compete fiercely, albeit healthily among themselves over this. For example, once a new area opens up to development, the first few houses in that area would decide the general structures that most of the property owners will build. Southerners generally exhibit this trend too, but Igbos take it to new levels. The drawback so far is that we haven't been compensated with governors who are ambitious and futuristic in their outlook. |
spyder880:Emmm...what did you climb? A hill, or a high rise building? |
opsynea2j:God bless you too, bro! ![]() But then, how else do you tell a person that his claims ain't true, especially when it was done deliberately with an intent at deception? Let's call it what it is. Cosplay has taken this crusade upon himself. Only dishonest folks would frown at what he does here. I've seen lots of posts on NL that showed pictures of the condition of a salvaged car overseas before it was repaired and put up for sale. Those before and after pics wrapped up the deal in no time. It also ensures a dealer won't be liable in the event the car develop faults after its been sold. Let your business/name stand out. The milage of honesty doesn't wear out. |
