U mean chant? |
Noel1:No grandpa. I didn't read. The topic is explanatory enough. Wether it was returned last year or this year, its all the same. Stop chasing shadows. The substance of my post was that Buhari your age mate insists Abacha never stole. So what's the origin of the loot? Do you get it, grandpa? |
![]() You mean, Bubu didn't ask the Swiss authorities why they are gifting him this Xmas Bonanza? Bubu said Abacha didn't steal a dime. How come the Swiss are refunding this "loot" to him? He didn't feel any shame when he accepted the money? ![]() |
Jakumo:This post and the accompanying videos are much appreciated. Thanks, bro! |
![]() Almost like saying the millions of almajiri kids and beggars in the north would not bother about voting. Tell that hogwash to the ignorant. The day northern Nigeria will remove sentiments (religious, tribal) from voting is the day ₦1 will finally be equal with $1. |
eyeview:That's because APC is dead scared and shitting its pants. Imagine what a ruling party puts up on its official handle as a brownie point! Shameful. In today's Nigeria, what it takes for a strong opposition party to make the ruling party jittery, is non performance on the part of the incumbent. We saw exactly same thing play out prior to 2015 election. It would take a disaster such as Buhari to make an unpopular candidate such as Atiku become accepted. Same way GEJ's poor performance made people finally vote for Buhari, seeing that he was the only candidate that stood a chance to boot out Jonathan. Bottom line: Nigeria is not progressing. We keep electing people that appears worse than their predecessors. |
![]() When you see the contents of that bill, you'd believe that president dinosaur would fall over himself to sign it into law. I mean, that bill clearly favors a performing incumbent government seeking for a reelection. Keyword: Performing. But this extremely dull, extremely dumb president and his handlers know there's no redeeming point to his nearly elapsed four years tenure. So, the only way to retain power is to rig and out-rig all his opponents. We have had little gains since 1999, but this plague in Aso Rock has effortlessly destroyed whatever seeming progress we've made so far. If the NASS were not made up of a bunch of greedy, self seeking assholes, president dumbo should have been impeached withing the first year of his administration. Like everything else the NASS has attempted, and all past threats it has made to the presidency, I believe this is another one of those empty words...until they actually enforce it. |
![]() PDP is almost as silly as APC. What am I even saying? The bulk of the present APC vampires were former PDP draculas who the ever greedy Tinubu convinced to jump ship. I was expecting to read that Peter Obi himself raised an alarm that his accounts are frozen. Instead, its PDP crying on his behalf. Mr. Obi himself said very little, if anything about the issue. #Yawns# |
TheGreenLand:Bless your discerning mind, bro! Same thought I had as I read this piece. The silly, half baked mods who drag shitty topics to FP deserve some knocks. |
Uselessly clueless dinosaur ![]() No, you would complain and blame Shekau and Oil prices instead.
|
mokaflex:That you see something online doesn't make it totally correct. Act like you're educated and search for "sellotape" in a dictionary. The word exists. Sellotape is the object, while "seal tape" describes what it does. The new thing you should learn is to never accept anything on its face value, until you independently confirm it yourself. |
zoba88: ![]() Dumb sheep. Sure, your lord and rescuer of mankind, Mbaka was the only clergyman who foresaw the sort of paradise Buhari and his henchmen will turn Nigeria to in 2015. Mbaka is just another piece of scumbag, just like the rest of them god of gullible men. But who gives a shyte? I don't! ![]() I believe you all are enjoying Bubu's paradise. The bong hombre is taking y'all to the next unpredictable level... a level even he isn't sure what its about. ![]() I must confess the dinosaur of Aso Rock has made me some cool dough, with the dollar's runaway value over the naira. Cheers, muthafuckas! |
claseek:This should give u a little peek into what the north would become if the country were to split into different constituent regions. The north would get horrifically worse, that even their leaders won't have the foggiest idea what to do with their citizens. Oil money is still keeping this contraption going. That oil money is running out. It's a matter of time.... |
neyobills:Of course, most Nigerians are dunderheads. And those in authority know that. Since the majority is what matters, then, the government can do as it pleases. It would take a lot of dunderheads to vote into power a man whose calamitous regime in 1984/85 is on record. A man who never bothered to improve on himself intellectually, socially, morally or in any sphere of life even though he had the resource to do so. A well known religious and ethnic bigot who destroys everything he touches... So, yes. If we are dumb enough to make a useless relic a president, we should be seen as dumb enough to swallow every sort of bullshit they churn out. It's the majority that matters. It's a game of numbers. |
sankky:Of course, the north won't vote him. No matter how qualified, or radical, or passionate, or visionary, or hard-working, or revolutionary he is. Same goes for majority of the SE and middle belt. Why? Because "he is not one of ours!" That's the mentality. Now, consider how effective this type of weakness can be chanelled to greatness if we are operating regional government in a restructured Nigeria. Someone like Sowore will have a very good chance of being elected into the top office if it were an election for governor of Oduduwa State/SW region. The young, dynamic masses that make up a large number of the voters would gun for him. Godfatherism will also get checkmated. We are losing so much so long as we keep practicing this sham democracy where all power is vested on one man in the center. |
The reason is very simple: Zero regulation. Let me explain a bit. I've lived in a few oversea countries. In those places where domestic cooking gas isn't piped into residential houses from a central mains, there is a regulated supply of filled gas tanks/cylinders of various sizes. The gas peddler brings a filled and sealed tank to your house, and you exchange it with your empty tank of similar size. Now, those tanks have dates printed on them. Once the date is due, the tanks are taken to the gas company for maintenance/repair/refurbishing. They are checked for signs of rusts, leakages, or weakness. Any fault detected is worked on, standard pressure tests are then conducted to certify them OK. Next, the cylinder gets a fresh coat of paint, and a new due date is printed on it. After which, it gets released into circulation. This keeps accidental explosion to a bare minimum. Those checks are usually routinely done every 2 years on every single gas cylinder. Now, compare that with Nigeria where a gas cylinder never gets checked even 10 or more years after continuous use! Isn't that a recipe for disaster? You buy your own tank, and no inspection work gets done on it. Secondly, local welders are now fabricating gas tanks without the specified standard metal alloy or thickness. Then to paint it and sell it to the public....just like that! Tell me why there won't be frequent explosions, especially now that more and more folks are switching to LPG. |
BoneBlogger:Stop being silly. Did you send somebody to make a video of the attack as it was happening? You bloggers are scum. |
![]() Well, first all, you should realize that every single politician and their lackeys, beginning from the president, every staff in the presidency, the senators, permanent secretaries, ministers, every top official in all ministries, governors, commissioners and every state house of assembly staffers, down to local government chairmen......none of them wants a restructured political system. None of them wants anything that would require them to actually work for their money, or actively compete for their services to remain relevant. Restructure is the masses language. It strikes fear into the heart of the political leeches all over Nigeria. What allocation would go into taking care of all the bogus projects in Abuja? . The FCT will almost instantly shrink to ¼ it's present size in a truly restructured setting. |
IamD18:Actually, it's written all over your post that you're the one who seemed to be most pained and frustrated by their ordeal. What makes it your business and headache? Did you have a personal stake in their marriage? Haba! |
Unbelievable. Age 34 or 35, and here you are on NL seeking for life and relationship advice....from, believe it or not, mostly shiteaters in their 20s. Sorry, man. You ain't ready mentally to get hitched yet. You still need to grow up. |
Aldebaran:It's been a hectic and mad week for me. I don't think I've even cracked a smile since this week began. This post of yours got me laughing so hard, it's a welcome relief ![]() Thanks, man! |
Aldebaran:It's been a hectic and mad week for me. I don't think I've even cracked a smile since this week began. This post of yours got me laughing so hard, it's a welcome relief ![]() |
The CP has directed the ballistic arm of the SCIID Panti Yaba to commence investigation into the case That's the funny part of the report. Would have sounded bogus if it wasn't funny. Ballistic kọr, bombastic níí. |
No surprises here. ![]() When was the last time something good came out of Nigeria, especially from it's young bloods, ages mid 30s and below? Remove the self efforts of music artistes who churn out horrifying noise to the admiration of crude beings without refined tastes, and sportsmen especially in the game of football....what else has the Nigerian youth got to offer? One time proven way of destroying a nation is to gradually water down the quality of it's educational sector. With its subsequent generations, you begin to see an entire class of people who are so stunted in the capacity to be cerebral and compete among their peers from other countries. This nairaland is a reflection of what this country has become. Come up with something worthwhile that should induce intelligent discussion and brainstorming by the youths, and it gets lost in no time. This thread is a perfect pointer to that. You can't get it right if you bring it here. Never worked before. Won't work now. Yes, we can't all be similar, but it's almost certain that a vast majority of this country's online denizens are lost, dumb and lack guts. Worst, they lack the capacity for long term ambitious plans. These are the people who wants to take over from a president they've been describing as illiterate, lifeless and brain dead, right? I left this thread when it was about half the page it currently is. Just came back to realize I missed nothing. Meanwhile, the intelligent and forward looking folks who have been contributing to this thread, your inputs are needed elsewhere. Heed the call. You may occasionally come here to blow a little smoke for the lost twerps to keep themselves amused. We know where the real kitchen is ![]() |
Isn't it funny that when any one of these paid asslickers here posts a topic to launder an almost non existent image of their "mai integrity", they notify their comrades first, so they can quickly invade the thread and flood it with their dumb chants of "Sai baboon till $1 equals N1. Sai baboon till Ajegunle becomes California". You lots are so pathetic. ![]() Hope your respective families are aware the shyte you go through everyday online, trying to defend someone who's a damn sight more dumber than you are? I really think you guys deserve some pity, and a little more raise in your stipends. E no easy at all ![]() |
hucienda:WAEC has its headquarters in Ghana. This headquarter oversees all its operation in the West Africa subregion, including Nigeria. If I write to this headquarter concerning my certificate or result, it has got the database of every examination the body has conducted since it was established in the early 60s. Now, prior to 2015 election when Buhari's certificate controversy came up, a non profit organization based in Nigeria (I forget the name) wrote to WAEC about this issue. Even though WAEC cannot reveal the details of the certificate or result of individuals to anyone except the person himself or a court, it can still confirm if the name of person of interest is available in it's database. Buhari's name on the statement of result he claimed was "Mohammed Buhari" WAEC Ghana replied that no such name exists in it's records of candidates who sat for its exams in 1961. Is that self explanatory enough? WAEC Nigeria pulled out this recent fad from it's ass. This singular action will spell more woe for upcoming generations with aspirations to study overseas. Before now, our University degrees are mostly disregarded. After this, with the president shamelessly issued an attestation of result he never earned, it is curtains for your kids and my kids. This is treachery in high places. Just wait and watch the repercussions in the next few years. |
tesppidd:Empty people such as you always use foul language and insults to cover up for their deficiencies. So, it is right for Fayose's account to be frozen over an alleged crime that hasn't been conclusively established, and ignore Ganduje's crime with the glaring video evidences produced? So, where do you think that Ganduje will keep that money afterwards? Will it be under his babariga or in a pit dug in his rice farm for ever, or he would stash it in an account meant for his slush finds? People who still don't see anything wrong in this administration's double standard are beyond redemption. |
sarrki:Are you still eligible for that 30k monthly stipend, seeing as you can never stitch one decent sentence together? Who paid for your education, Bros? "Know" is different from "no" "Is" is different from "his" Meanwhile, your paymaster fought tooth and nail to ensure that Kanu and his people remain in Nigeria. Yet you are here preaching a different sermon. You dey mental? I think you should stick to your imaginary suya business. |
Sai baboon is working... Fashola is very busy, because this issue has gotten tougher than rocket science ![]() Osibande is learning to dance shaku shaku. Zombies are waiting for October stipend. Month don end. In naija, life goes on as usual. Next year, we queue up under the scorching sun to reload another 4 years stretch for fools who give us the impression they will fix an absolutely unworkable system of government. If you think Bubu or Atiku or anyone else can fix Nigeria as constituted, then you're way worse than the sorry folks you're voting for. Restructure or burst! |
Ray97:Sorry, but that's a poor conclusion. Think about it. If Israel decides to wade into this affair, there is no other credible entity than Kanu they would consult with. Kanu has identified with Israel and Judaism right from the start. Can you say same about Ohaneze, whose membership are mostly out looking for government patronage? You can't trust such a group. Since it cannot be a one man show, Israel will have to depend on whatever group Kanu can vouch for as credible. As it is, Kanu wields more influence and street creds than a dozen Ohaneze group combined. That's the sad truth. |
ckenneths:Hosting a radio show to air these points here: brilliant move! Floating a political party? Don't waste your time. Nigerian politics have a way of bringing out the cynics in most people. We all know how it is. I am not sure what popular broadcasters or programs in the SE that people often tune in to listen to. Introducing a new program on air might take a long time to reach the ears of the masses and garner much audience as anticipated. So, one good suggestion is to "piggyback" on an already established program or a popular broadcaster who will always introduce the specific radio show that will broadcast these ideas and discussions to the Igbo masses. Such shows should be aired regularly, at least once a week. How about even using known personalities like Uche Ogbuagu? I think thats another idea. How about popular musicians and artistes? Think about it. Think about the number of people who will want to pay attention when popular artistes volunteer to go on air and table these discussions and ideas we have here. They can even make video recordings and power point presentations and upload them on YouTube.... Utilise every form of social media to do this....the possibilities are immense. Once such personalities talk about it, and tell people how a group of people from diverse backgrounds are rubbing minds and brainstorming on how to push a socioeconomy renaissance of the southeast, it will draw a lot of curiosity at first, then the interest will pick up....until it gradually creates a very passionate and mass movement. It can be done!! |
