Well it was my partner's birthday so thought I would do something nice,
So I spent all day running around to get yam's and ingrediants which in UK isn't always easy to get hold of.
I then made pounded yam, nigerian stew, suya beef and jolloff rice. I am white UK so of course they will never be as good as you nigerian women can make, but it was fine.

So when he came home I prepared his food, we ate and gave him his cards, a card of me with £50 and a card of our son. I sat with him as he watched football all night and then we went to bed. We cuddled and that was it, no sex, next day he said i was selfish for wanting sex? He said he appreciated me making the food but I shouldn't have bothered as it wasn't 'proper' I should have asked for help from him, but then it wouldn't have been a surprise.

I've been following this thread very keenly and i can identify with d-roc here. If poor men are labelled poor cos they can't afford a good living, then any girl who cannot do likewise can be labelled poor too. Girls just like to eat their cakes and still have em. Poster needs to go to the US embassy in lagos at 10pm, you'd probably see people sleeping there, visit the UK high commision and u'll see the same. Nigeria is becoming increasingly unsafe by the minute and yet, the govt knows that our problems are minimal - Even i will lead Nigeria better than most of those fools in power who claim to be doing everything whilst stuffing their pockets in reality.
Think of the armed robbers, the bad roads, poor electricity, poor hospital facilities, poor roads, cultism, strikes by govt parastatals, strikes by schools and teaching staff, riots, inter tribal wars, inter religious wars, corruption, police harrassment. . .  I can go on and on for ages. The point here is that all these are basic problems that can be fixed within the next 4yrs, but no govt will go into the underlying issues.

I graduated from the same department in school as my best friend, it has been roughly 11yrs now and he's still looking for his first job, on the other hand, i've worked with the european market leaders in telecoms, banking, electronics, and health within this same period.

You cannot change a playa, he can however choose to change for reasons best known to him. Some change cos they're getting mature, some change cos they now want something serious e.g. marriage, others change when they fall hopelessly in love with someone lucky. . . But no woman can change a man or even as much as force him to do things her way, dont ever think like that cos a guy can give u the impression u have succeeded but when u least expect, he just changes, and that one hurts even more cos u could be married with kids by then.
