You forget that he has been playing advisory role for the past nearly seven years but Buhari/Osinbajo administration still succeeded in messing things up. It’s one thing to give advice but another for it to be taken and acted upon. At the Colloquium organised for Tinubu in 2021, did he not tell them that this is not the time to constrain the economy….but have they listened to change their ways? They should both just get out and allow someone with fresh workable ideas to take over. Osinbajo is just an appendage of Buhari…. he will simply continue with the same unworkable policies as we have now!

And you think that that someone with fresh workable ideas is Tinubu? Even with his age and state of health? You guys should pity Nigerians and stop this sentiment. Let's be realistic for ones. We don't deserve this.

If Tinubu does not get the APC ticket and chooses to withdraw his support, APC is as good as finished. Osinbajo may be a professor but he does not possess the political acumen to handle Buhari and his Northern noisemakers on his own. He will be overwhelmed. Mark those words well. Tinubu is a master of the political game from AD to ACN and now APC. He handled all his traducers and came out top!

If that is the case, let Tinubu stay at the background and be playing advisory role to help Osibanjo succeed. Tinubu must not run. He is too and sick for the job. We don't want another UK and US medical trips. We want healthy and vibrant President.

You are correct but it doesn't work like that because he's already a piece of apron in the hand of the Northerners. He's is likely to be just a sitting duck and a dog that cannot bark. Just imagine how they have been treating him. Nigeria needs a more bolder Southerner. Osibanjo will only be there to protect the interest of the North against the south. His presidency could be extension of Buhari and northern domination. He's is too gentle for that job, a more radical Southerner is needed.

You might be very wrong in your assessment of Osibanjo. Do not take the gentility of a man as a sign of weakness. He might be forming gentle because of his position as a Vice. He can not outshine his master. He has also shown himself as a courageous man in the past when giving authority to act. He removed the DSS boss (one of the cabals) when his boss travelled. Only a courageous man could have done that. I am a PDP man but I have a soft spot for Osibanjo. Atiku vs Osibanjo will be a very very difficult choice for me to make. But Atiku vs Tinubu, I don't even need to think to make my choice.
