PoliticsRe: Fashola: APC’s Zoning Agreement Should Be Respected In 2023 by winterfell007(m): 7:33am On Nov 25, 2020
mrugly:
You are talking of equity as if the Easterners deserve that in APC? What is equity? Equity means fairness. In politics, you can only be fair to those who belongs to the party manifestoes. What does this mean? Just like God send the rain on both those that love him and those that hate him, so also, you carry out economic policies that every facet of the community not just your followers alone but your critics as well because they are part of the community as well and just like God also reserve some blessings for his children alone(blessings like salvation), this kind of blessings can't be extended to God's haters so also a party can not extend the party political posts to its haters.

The Easterners gave APC the lowest numbers of votes in both 2015 and 2019 elections and you want the party to zone it's presidential ticket to the east? That is impossible. Easterners can claim that in PDP, but certainly not in APC.

Besides, the issue here is that some northerners are thinking of retaining the power.

This has nothing to do with the Easterners
Easterners also founded the APC. Have you forgotten Ogbonnaya Onu is considered a part founder? Is it because he doesn't have the capacity to lord the igbos like Tinubu lorded over the southwest using the finance of Lagos State.
Look the igbos have as much right to vie that ticket on both platforms. That's why I strongly angling for Chibuike Amaechi to fight that greedy crook called Tinubu and retire him from politics like Edo people retired Oshiomole

So after Buhari will end his disastrous 8 years in office, another northerners will try to take over again for another 8 years Because the rest of Nigeria are mumu abi?
Because you guys have refused to do the right thing. You can blame the north if they're also angling to remain in power through another platform. You can't blame them for being greedy since the southwest too is guilty of that
PoliticsRe: Fashola: APC’s Zoning Agreement Should Be Respected In 2023 by winterfell007(m): 7:25am On Nov 25, 2020
Igbochief001:
So there is zoning agreement ?

It's funny that yorubas who have been president and vice president for 16 years since 1999 are the one crying for presidency to be zoned to them

If there is anything zoning it should go to south east ... outside south east let everyone contest
They've had the presidential slot and vice presidential slot since the return to democratic government. But somehow they still intend on retaining the presidency on the guise that Tinubu founded the party, have they forgotten about Ogbonnaya that was part of founders or Amaechi and his G12 that defected to the party to make it formidable. I support Chibuike Amaechi to fight that greedy Tinubu and contest for the presidency. I'll rather have that Ikweree man as president.

Some people just realised that there's a party called apc after voting pdp all their lives, these people are not even fighting for ticket in PDP but they want apc to give them what they don't deserve
Oh! But you've forgotten some of their people also founded the So called APC and have every right to get the presidential ticket. The argument that Igbos don't vote APC can't hold water. Look for another mumu excuse
PoliticsRe: Fashola: APC’s Zoning Agreement Should Be Respected In 2023 by winterfell007(m): 6:56am On Nov 25, 2020
So because the party was majorly founded by both Tinubu and Buhari, that means it's the Southwest turn to produce presidency? Have they forgotten Ogbonnaya Onu, Rochas Okorocha were also part of the founders. Is it because they don't command so much influence in the southeast that means their people should never be considered for presidency?
Okay now, flex on!! Injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere.
We later proclaim to the world 'Nigeria is a unified nation' everybody in the world knows Nigeria's unity is extremely fragile. We love to deceive ourselves with the sense of oneness whereas our politics is extremely divisive and clearly sectional. The good thing about it is that world doesn't take our 'One Nigeria' seriously. It's a huge joke to them

Slurity:
and that is why IGBO will remain at the back in Nigeria politics. Do you think YORUBA love the southern when they voted massively for Jonathan? Or they love fulani when the voted massively for Buhari? The answer is NO but if you really need support, You have to support others in politics. Igbo should just focus trading business that they understand and not politics. You don't hate in politics. The people you hate keep winning without your support, what is then your point of keep hating?
Don't mind that idiot. He keeps making political miscalculations. I wonder when my people will learn

To be honest, it's gonna be very difficult for the igbos to achieve the presidency. The primary reason is because Nnamdi Kanu has destroyed whatever political relevance we've built over the past few years.
He's successfully made the entire Nigerians loose respect for us. Now they don't trust us, how do you think they'll trust us with the presidency? When i was telling you guys to reject NK, you people called me 'Efulefu' like you did to Joe Igbokwe, now you want the entire Nigerians to put you in the position of power after NK has abused them all, undecided undecided

Once Aba starts having reliable electricity, it will undergo a rapid industrial revolution never seen before in Nigeria.

Mind you the gas is coming from the oil and gas areas of southern Abia state.

Abia, Imo and Anambra all have oil and gas in commercial quantities but some people accuse South East Igbos of wanting Niger delta oil. You cannot want what you already have in abundance.
Here we go again! undecided. Not everything you 'chestbeat' about. Let us learn how to be humble in our little achievement. Stop provoking unnecessary sentiments against us. For your information, Shell is doing the same thing in Ogun, Portharcourt and Bayelsa. It's their intention to supply the fuel that is needed within the industrial areas of those cities.

Quite your conspiracy theories. Just quit it!! First of all the ANOH gas project will connect to OB3 pipeline that takes gas to the Western region not the Northern region.
ANOH gas projects will connect it pipeline to the new owerri-onitsha industrial layout. Whether Ihedioha was there or not, this project would have gone regardless. For your information, Final Investment Decision (FID) took place during Okorocha's administration. That's to let you know this project has been in the pipeline since 2013.

Your brothers have finished the oil reserves of the east with your owambe lifestyle since 1966. You are now trying to pivot to gas since oil prices are tanking. Imo and abia have the biggest gas reserves anywhere in sub-saharan Africa. So you start imposing puppets in eastern government houses, using all sorts of avenues, including a mercenary supreme Court! We in east need whatever that remains oof these resources to biuld up our economic base, so resistance is a must! But all you are interested in is on how to pipe eastern resources to your cousins in Niger republic! It won't work... You want to create jobs in imo state? Biuld factories anywhere you like! We have abundant young graduates to help you make money! But do well to leave our hydrocarbons for us! We are not dragging your gold with you at Zamfara!

Zombies must be having heart attack or even epilepsy sef.

They've been foaming in the mouth that we are doing attaché by force with SS because of oil but now there's a refinery in the heart of Igboland with capacity to refine 271 million liters of petroleum product per annum.

There's oil in Abia state.

There's oil in Anambra state.

Unconfirmed reports say there's oil in Nsukka. Maybe if the billions spent at Lake Chad basin looking for non-existent oil was spent in Nsukka, we would be drilling oil there too.

But it's worthy to educate zombies that Biafra, 'when' it comes, will not depend on oil as it's only commodity of foreign exchange.

Biafra will be a country of Technology, Services, Commerce and Manufacturing.

Wike and Ikwerre have said they are not Igbo. We should let them be.

I'll keep typing this. People like Ayuba is the reason why Nigeria is the poverty capital of the world. We keep blaming the economy for our woes, the main issue is that we as a country is clearly overpopulated no thanks to the north. Our population is a huge liability and that's the honest truth.
I didn't bother reading that epistle to know that Ayuba doesn't even deserve to have a testicle. He should have been long castrated. It folks like him that fuel the poverty index of the country.

seunmsg:
An Igbo man with self respect and iron balls. I will forever respect Dave Umahi for this decision.

It’s such a shame that PDP is even considering giving its ticket to a northerner ahead of an Igbo person despite the huge sacrifice of the region to the party. The biggest shame however goes to Igbo people who see nothing wrong in denying the zone the party’s presidential ticket in 2023. It’s totally unthinkable that these set of Igbos intend to support another Fulani man in 2023.

Hopefully, Umahi’s move will awaken the consciousness of the zone. The believe that the zone can’t be relevant except by licking Atiku’s corrupt ass must be changed. Enough of behaving like conquered people.
Even though I'm igbo from Anambra. I'm forced to agree with you on this. Igbos as a nation have truly worked for PDP to remain relevant, you can't be sidelining us when it comes to getting the presidency. I know our chances of winning the presidency is very slim in PDP no thanks to IPOB and NK that have succeeded in relegating the igbos politically to the background.
But nonetheless, they deserve to contest the presidency on tge grounds of North-South zoning formula. Even if we loose at least, we proved a point that to the rest of Nigeria. We are still stakeholders until there's no more Nigeria.
