Luckily I had a big bottle of honey at home. The lime was fücking expensive, 1 was N500. My wife bought 10 for 5000. So I would squeeze the lime, grate the ginger add honey with some water. I warmed the broth, not boil and gave it to the whole family to drink, once in the morning and once at night. After about 5 days, we were all getting better. We are all much better now, but not 100%. It was hardest on my wife, she would cough all night, although the cough has almost gone. Now she sleeps much better.
To be honest, I was really scared. I was even scared of going to the hospital at this time, because to me hospitals are ground zero for this coronavirus. The hospitals are not adequately disinfected and with lots of suspected infected patients coming in and out, the chances of catching the virus in hospitals are quite high.

You guys don't know how scientific claims work, it is different from religious claims. You make an hypothesis and back up your claims with verifiable data. You must also published your findings in a scientific journal, so every one can understand how and why it works.

If you open a simple chloroquine pack for the treatment of malaria, it will contain a leaflet detailing how the drug kills the malaria parasite, it will provide details on which enzymes or properties of the parasite it attacks. Same with other antibacterial and antivirus drugs. Even HIV drugs will explain how it stops the virus from further replicating.

This case is just like a traditional medicine man that claims he cured staphylococcus with "agbo" and believe me, there are hundreds of such claims. We hear how many people he has cured without any reports or scientific basis.

You still don't get it. Voting rights is a fundamental right all over the world. It's the main element of a democratic form of government. An ID, passport, job, class, race, sex cannot be used to deprive a person from voting.

Any system can be abused. If driver's license can be given undeserved to illegal immigrants, ID cards can also be given to illegal immigrants. You do not want to burden the electoral commission of verifying all ID cards. Normal electoral procedure involves registration for voting purposes. It's during registration that proof of citizenship is often required, ie birth certificates, passports, Social security numbers and biometric data.

As I said no system can be foolproof. It behoves the dissatisfied party to complain and challenge the process in a court of law, if they feel that the elections has widespread and systemic irregularities.

Imagine touting a travel ban as the biggest achievement by Trump in the coronavirus war. They talk like a simple ban on flights from China and much later on Europe stopped the virus from decimating the US. They expect very little from Trump that even if he farts, that would be a major achievement.

The Republicans are more interested in the stock market than US lives. When they were warned about the virus early january, the were more concerned about their stocks than the lives of Americans.

He says one thing today and his supporters will defend the position with their lives, he then says the exact opposite the very next day and they would deny with with their mother's lives that he never said so in the first place, even if you show them video evidence. The craziest one to me was when during his meeting with Putin in Helsinki, he said " I don't see any reason why it would be" (Russia that interfered with the US elections. The very next day he said what he said was that "I don't see any reason why it would'nt be" and his goons are ready to defend him both ways, even though the speech is on YouTube.
